The start of my managerial career is upon us and I must say I was worried. I have never managed in Egypt so I have no idea how the other teams are. I know one thing for sure, the past 10 years have been dominated by Ah Ahly. If I want to make a mark here that is the team that I need to beat. Either that or maybe they will approach me to manage them!

Not much to be said, we showed glimpses of good performances ironically the best performance was the 2-0 win over Ah Ahly. Two wins from the first two months of the season isn't great though and we have some issues that need to be addressed. We have a huge squad with most of them not being very good. The problem is injuries could cripple us. Four draws and three losses. We need to have more confident performances. My strikers aren't scoring as much as we need them too while our defense is playing pretty well. I have a couple new signings in the works which hopefully will give us some better results.

Here is how the league table looks right now. We currently sit in 10th but at the start of the season I said I would hopefully guide us to a midtable finish and so far we look to be right on course for that. My contract runs out at the end of the season so we will see what happens but right now it is to early to tell how things will go.

First up I told the board that I could hopefully guide us to a mid table league position. They gave me around 8k per week extra in the wage budget but the main problem was finding good players. I couldn't find a goal keeper that I could afford so unfortunately we might have a bit of a problem there.

The top two are right backs / center backs and the third is a center midfield. None of them are good and I don't expect eye popping performances out of them. I doubt much will happen this season but we still have 50 days until the start of the season since it doesn't start until October. Here goes nothing!

Well it hasn't taken me long to find a job. In fact it was in one of the countries that I actually wanted to win with and that is Egypt. I added the Egyptian League and the Congolese league in so I could see if I ever got an offer from either Ah Ahly or TP Mozambe. Well unfortunately I haven't gotten those two job offers yet but something else came up...

Arab Contractors is an Egyptian side playing in the Egyptian Premier League. I was shocked to see them offer me a contract as they are in the top league in Egypt but nonetheless I have accepted due to their financial backing in the transfer market. All the others were either over the wage budget or had no wage budget to work with. I have a little bit to work and I hope to put that to good use.

Now to have an initial look at the squad.

I am planning on bringing in a new goalkeeper for sure and probably will work on strengthening the midfield. This is a huge squad with tons of forwards in which I will be looking into reducing some of the squad. It is also a pretty old squad so we might have to work on bringing some youth players in. I have only signed on til the end of the season so hopefully I can steer them in the right direction before I leave.

I have decided to finally start a new career on here and it is the big one. I am going to try and complete the Pentagon challenge. Most of you already know the rules but for those of you who don't I must win the 5 Champions Leagues with a starting reputation of Sunday League Player and unemployed.

My Arsenal save has two Welsh players in it and everyone else is English. My staff on the other hand is from many different countries so I guess that might not make it right haha. I signed Gareth Bale from Tottenham and had Aaron Ramsey from the start. Also how many of your players usually get called up to the national team? RIght now in 2016 I usually have 13 players on the England national squad.

I have a similar save going with Arsenal at the moment, I suggest not doing such a rapid fire sale of the foreigners, I am currently going into the 2016/17 season and still have one foreigner left in the club and that is Marco Verratti. I haven't found a good replacement for him yet in my line up who is English. I do have a couple good young regens coming through.

My main suggestion is when the youth intake comes unless you want them all to come from your club, scout all of the new English regens from the clubs who have great youth facilities. I have poached some good players from the likes of United, Southampton, West Ham and Chelsea already.

Some great results there and it is kind of funny seeing Liverpool approach you, how is Ross Barkley doing for you? I loaned him twice in my Celtic save and wish I could have signed him on a permanent deal.

Most of their contracts only have a year to run so I'm thinking it is because of that. From my experience players that usually have a year or so left on their contracts never are able to be sold for what you should be getting for them.

I just created a team named Woolwich Arsenal and I would like the logo to be based off this Arsenal crest

Also instead of it saying "Arsenal" could you have it be "WAFC" and instead of the saying at the bottom could you put "Woolwich Arsenal Football Club" or just "Woolwich Arsenal FC" if it doesn't fit. Possibly make it more of a maroon color than a red.

Great start in the league! I seem to always have success in the lowest league due to it not being that difficult when you can make some great signings and they start to gel together. Adding some quality players really make the difference.

As for this story right now I have no intentions of playing FM 13 as I am a bit burnt out after playing FM 12 so much and Black Ops 2 is out so yeah. I might give this a go again when I feel like I will play it more.
