#289593 Arsenal Relegated?
Jrwebby
Thierry Henry has officially been named Arsenal manager ahead of the club's first season in the nPower Championship after being relegated last season. He has stated he is ready to begin his management career at the club he loves and is ready to challenge to bring them back to the top. He will have a good bit of money to play with due to the club selling stars Olivier Giroud, Santi Cazorla, Laurent Koscielny, Thomas Vermaelen, Bacary Sagna, Theo Walcott and Mikel Arteta over the past season.
"I am delighted to take over at Arsenal and promise the fans that our stay in the Championship will be short lived and by this time next season we will be back where we belong in the Premier League. I already have a list of targets that I want to bring in to replace the stars that have left and the board has backed me with a very big transfer budget."
Arsenal are clear favorites to be promoted and some experts think they could have the title wrapped up by the end of February but then again those same experts had them challenging for the Premier League title just last season.

Arsenal's hell season has ended in a heartbreaking relegation to the nPower Championship despite their 2-0 victory over arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
For the first time in nearly 100 years Arsenal will be playing in the nPower Championship next year next season as they were relegated after a horrifying season. Iconic manager Arsene Wenger in January and replacement manager Rafa Benitez was sacked immediately after the match despite defeating Tottenham. Swansea City defeated Liverpool 1-0 which spelled the end of Arsenal in the top flight. There will definitely be some changes at Arsenal over the summer and no doubt players will be leaving most likely being Santi Cazorla, Laurent Koscielny, Gervinho, Lukas Podolski, Mikel Arteta and others.
Arsenal legends took to twitter to voice their concerns over the club, Tony Adams had this to say "It's certainly a horrible day to be apart of Arsenal FC and to think next season we will not be playing in the top flight is something that hasn't set in yet."
Thierry Henry said this about the current situation at Arsenal, "As I watched the match against Tottenham I had a tear in my eye the entire match. After calling an end to my playing career after last season I will definitely have a chat with some of the board and see if I can not have a shot at taking over at my beloved Arsenal."
Jack Wilshere has already confirmed he will NOT be leaving Arsenal next season. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has said the same thing but it seems like Santi Cazorla is set to exit Arsenal after just one season.
