English Forward Theo Walcott has agreed a deal with The Reds and will move on a free transfer. Theo Walcott was reportedly far from happy at The Emirates, having only made 5 starts and 14 sub appearances last season. The striker turned down Arsenal's latest contract offer for a move to Anfield.

"I am delighted to be able to join Liverpool, one of the biggest teams in English football. I'm looking forward to playing for Bruce Wayne."
- Theo Walcott

The transfer will go through on Saturday, 1st July 2017.

During the course of 2016/2017 season, I pre-arranged several transfers in and out for the upcoming season.

Transfers In:
http://i39.tinypic.com/27ya1zs.jpg
Mamby Bane - AC Milan - $6M

Raul - Barcelona - Free
Oscar Wendt wasn't getting any younger so I needed a good back-up for Jack Robinson.

Borut Basic - Chelsea - $10.25M

Thibaut Courtois - Man City - $17M
Doesn't need any introduction. Another player that I had signed for City previously.

Transfers Out:
Jose Manuel Reina - Valencia - Free
He isn't getting any younger and I wanted to rebuild the whole squad entirely. One of the last few Benitez era players.

Martin Kelly - Free
Kept wanting to move to a bigger club. No player is bigger than the club I have adequate replacements in Flanagan, Joe Andrews and several players from my youth team.

Mario Balotelli - AC Milan - $11M
Not consistent. I brought him in to boost our striking options in my first year. Never really contributed much and therefore surplus to requirements. Plus I get to reduce my wages in the process.

This story is continued from my City story that some of you may have read previously. I'm currently heading into my 3rd season as Liverpool manager. I joined Liverpool after achieving the treble in my only season as manager of Tigres. I'm also in charge of England at the moment.

2016/2017 Season Review
It was a pretty good second season for me. Brought in a few more players to strengthen the squad especially because we're competing in Europe now. I won the cup double but missed out on the BPL and UCL.

Competitions
Premier League - 3rd
Champions League - Semi Finals
FA Cup - Champions
Capitol One Cup - Champions

Squad

Transfers In:
Terry Heard - Free
Isco - $26M
Dennis Christoffersen - $6.25M
Mateo Kovacic - $8M
Jose Antonio Ariza Alcaraz - Free
Jan De Groot - $50K
Kasper Schmeichel - $8M
Total In: $48.5M

I brought in several players. 3 youngsters Heard, Alcaraz and De Groot brought in as my plan to introduce youth into my squad. Alcaraz performed remarkably and soon became part of my first 11 at only 19. Heard and De Groot were placed in my U18 squad. I bought Isco but sadly he didn't perform as I expected he would. Other than the odd few assists and goals, he didn't make an impact. Kovacic was one of the players I had bought at City. I decided to buy him again for Liverpool and he performed quite well over the season. Kasper was brought in as back-up for Pepe Reina. Dennis Christoffersen was undoubtedly my best signing this season. Signed him from Arsenal and he performed remarkably, keeping Downing out from my first team.

Transfers Out:
Lee Camp - $925K
Gareth Barry - Free
Andy Carroll - Free
Kristoffer Peterson - Free
Sebastien Coates - $17.5M
Danny Agger - $4.4M
Glen Johnson - $1M
Steven Caulker - $2.5M
Mark Bunn - $750K
Total Out: $27M

Lee Camp and Mark Bunn both departed after the signing of Kasper. The rest of the players were surplus to my plans so I decided to get rid of them.

This was the final standings. I was top at one point of the season but bad results in the last few matches saw us drop below both Manchester clubs and into third place.
