How have I missed this thread :L May be biast being a Pats fan but our game was deffinatly game of the week. 5 Unresponded touchdown in 2nd half If we continue playing like 2nd half there I cant wait for Wembley game

Are you going to it? I'm going to try and go to one, probably if Eagles go because my mate's an Eagles fan and I don't really have a side, but I reckon it would be quite hard to see what's going on with the ball and that. I'd also be completely lost without the orange lines, but I'd assume they'll be on the TVs.

Watched the game, only like the 3rd time I've watched an NFL game. Quite enjoyed it, Eli Manning was the only player I knew though \o/ Might have to watch the game on C4 next Sunday night/monday morning.

I think the Cowboys Bears game is on the BBC red button tonight.
The first 28 minutes or so was really droll, but it picked up after that. Last ten minutes was really entertaining. Started off quite defensively but finished off a lot better than that. I wouldn't worry about not knowing players names, I only know a select few, and that's just because I have them in my fantasy team. I'm starting to pick more up though just by watching games.

Kevin Smith fan or Jason Lee fan?

Or both, most likely.

Both, of course.

The only Kevin Smith films I have are Clerks and Clerks 2, so I went and bought more of them (despite seeing them all before). I noticed the link between his films and Jason Lee, so I tried to see how How High and Pootie Tang linked in. How High is about smoking pot, essentially, which my men Jay & Silent Bob frequent in doing. Er, Pootie Tang? I've never seen it, but it has black guys in it, and How High has Method Man, so, er, yeah...

I never gave a link to Silence of the Lambs. Er, the song Goodbye Horses is used in that, also used in Clerks 2 (with Jay & Silent Bob). There you go.

Tax rebate?

This is my first payment from work, I only started working there earlier in the month. That raises a question, actually: Do I need to apply for a tax rebate or does it get done automatically?

I started there on work experience from the job centre for about a month, so maybe they've paid me for the hours I did whilst on that, because they're nice, but I wouldn't think so because I was getting paid JSA when I was on that.

I got paid for the first time today since I got my new job which is lovely.

However, I have a feeling I've been overpaid... Severely overpaid. I calculated myself that I should be paid around £250, but I have just over £700 in my account. I might need to have a word with someone in work because I don't think that's right at all. Of course, if it's correct for some reason, I'm certainly not complaining.

5th or 6th, I think you'd be able to keep on that promise until weekend....

I'll probably be working so I'll be fine for that weekend, but I'm off on the 13th/14th and on that weekend I should be going a Subcrawl (pub crawl, but getting off at all the stations on the subway) and Partick Thistle are away to Cowdenbeath that weekend, which promises to be messy.

It's a bit like all those thousands of times I've promised myself to stop over-eating and start working out, all it takes is caving in to the temptation from one single sandwich and I'll be back to stuffing my face full with food again.

I don't think it's particularly hard to do to stop doing something like over-eating or drinking, just don't do it, but I guess it's about just cutting down gradually instead of straight off. There's no addiction, it's just sort of habitual. Like, if I was going into work or something, I would go to the shop on the way and buy a Toffee Crisp or something, not even if I'm hungry, just, well, because I can I suppose. I don't see how it's hard to not do that. I could stop doing that for three weeks, get one the net day, but it's not really a problem.

Fat chance that you'll actually live up to that.

Definitely. I said to myself when I awoke that I won't drink for the whole month of October, but I'll end up breaking that promise on the 1st, probably.

What an ending! Don't have a fucking clue what's going on!

Seahawks get the win in the end, touchdown in the final seconds after throwing for a fourth down, but the Seattle WR and someone in the Packers D catch it at the same time, pretty much. No-one really knows what's going on, and one of the officials calls for a TD and the other as an interception. Gets looked at and gets called for a TD.

Packers players are protesting furiously though and not wanting Seattle to play for the FG due to them feeling cheated. Seems like the wrong decision was made.

I'm not entirely sure what's going on any more, but this is fucking mental.

I never knew that was there tbh. Too much hassle though.
I removed the keys and cleaned up underneath them but to no avail. I think they're gubbed. If they don't fix (c&p) themselves in the next few days I'll just buy a new keyboard. I could probably dig out the computer keyboard from somewhere if it starts to really irk me.

Hmm, okay. I'll leave it a few more days and then I'll try and remove them or something. Fortunately it's not a key letter, like e or something, so I seldom use either of them. Just means if I'm talking to a lady friend I'll have to go "kisskisskisskisskiss..." at the end.

I did that for the x but I can't do it for his friend too. Would it be wise to rip the laptop apart and try and clean out the keyboard or is it likely it'll fix itself?
