Took a few photos out in the snow around my house.

My boss just emailed me - his office is in Hemel Hempstead. They've all been sent home because there's been 2 inches of snow. Fucking South. A little bit of snow and everything shuts down!

He was pretty solid for us, I wish we had extended his loan for the rest of the season as we have now featured five goalkeepers this season which doesn't help with consistency.
Good shot stopper who needs to work on coming for the ball but other than that he looks a decent prospect.

Probably no worse than Lee Camp at the moment. He was class for us the last few seasons but this season his form has been poor and he looks half the player he was last season.

This is mainly aimed at Rick but if anyones seen him play, whats Karl Darlow like?

We've recalled him from his loan at Walsall, he played on Saturday and now McLeish has said that he is his first choice for now. We've signed some Kuwaiti lad as backup to him and looks like Lee Camp is off.

I think this is the first time I've been geuinely snowed in. Tried driving to work but I live in like a dip and none of the slopes out of it have been gritted or treated or anything and obviously I don't have all weather types because I'm poor.
So I'll enjoy the view from my bedroom window and play video games all day.

At least this is some consolation.

Havent got the snow yet. Should come here lunchtime-ish. Snowed into work over the weekend???

Hope QPR get relegated, although these players are excellent signings for a team in trouble.

You say that but Remy has score 1 goal in Ligue 1 this year with 2 starts, and M'vila seems to be on a downward spiral at the moment. Don't get me wrong, they could potentially rediscover their form and come good, but I wouldn't count on them just yet.

Con-Air is awesome. Its the only movie with Nicolas Cage in that I will watch. Hate that guy.

Watched the Expendables the other day. The plot is wafer thin and the acting is not good but loved that movie. Very entertaining.

It's been a rather shit festive period for my family, My stepdad's dad died a week before Christmas with his wife waiting to find out if her cancer is operable or not, one of my aunties followed on Christmas eve and an uncle today.

Not the best start to 2013.

Sorry to hear it mate.

Xmas wasn't the best for me and my wife either, she spent the weekend before in hospital as she had a miscarriage and her grandma died on 24th Dec a few years ago aswell.

I'm 24 and just about to remortgage after 3 years. Just make sure you have a decent deposit and don't stretch yourself too far. I can borrow much more than I am doing at the moment but it would make my payments nearly impossible to meet. Make an appointment at your bank/building society and they can talk you through your options/rough costs etc, then you can look around for the best option for you.

Stupidly decided to read the first chapter. I say fuck way too many times in it. I can't wait to rewrite it.

Don't really remember this, but there are a couple of bits where you missed a word/the sentence doesn't really make sense, but this is all part of it. When you are powering through as you are, you cant afford to get caught up with relatively small things like this otherwise you will lose your train of thought.

I think he is likeable in an odd way. He knows that what he does and the actions he takes are generally stupid/wrong but he is stuck in a way doing what he is doing. I guess he's a loveable rogue.

When I read the first bit of the book it struck me as a good light read to take on holiday or something like that. Something that you can read a bit, put it down to go in the pool or whatever then resume fairly easily. Definitely a decent lads book. So far at least.

Will be interesting to see where the story goes & what happens.
