He's fucking useless, as is Steven Taylor.

All this new manager stuff is handily cloaking the fact we're absolutely desperate for a centre back.

Why do you think they didnt appoint anyone yet? So they are not pressured into buying anyone!

ITV have confirmed Andy Townsend is leaving at the end of the season.

Thank fuck for that.

To go to BT where they have some of the Champs League games from next season.

Did somebody say cake?

Need somewhere to go in July/August. Not Spain or America, anyone recommend any half decent places, nightlife must be good though.

What kind of holiday?

In actual transfer topics, Sky are reporting Wilfried Bony is in advanced talks with Man City ahead of a £30million transfer.

Meanwhile, Newcastle have denied Moussa Sissoko is in talks with PSG for a £25million transfer. Given how little PSG used Cabaye, I really don't know why he would be that keen on moving. In saying that I said that about Cabaye last year and he still left.

For me, Sissoko is a similar player to Matuidi. I cant see them both in the team together and to pay 25 mil for someone who is basically the same player, role and ability wise, when PSG are tight with FFP seems a bit odd.

If she was too drunk to give consent to Chad, who was second, how was she not to drunk for Clayton?

Claytons lawyers argued that because she remembered going in the taxi and up to the hotel room with Clayton that this was her effectively giving consent for sex.

To those who are saying hes served his time etc etc. He hasnt. He's been released from prison on license, so is still technically serving his sentence, just under supervision of a probation officer. If he does anything, even 5/10 minutes late for a meeting with his PO, then he can be recalled to prison to serve his sentence in the comfort of a cell, being bullied by hardened criminals.

Also, he's showed no remorse, whereas Lee Hughes and McCormick did. Surely he would have an agent clever enough to tell him to show remorse and not comment further regardless of how he felt personally in the interest of his career. Instead his made it a witch hunt on this girl whos had to change her identity 4/5 times.

Nah, our hotel was on that initial dual carriageway though

A little way out the centre? We stayed at the Etap at the train station. Impossible to find because the council or whoever dont allow signs for hotels etc and its set back from the road, and the rooms were the size of my left bollock.

So what did Santa bring you lot?

I got a Villa sweatshirt and a bit of money. The other half got a really nice present though, an 18th century jewellry box that my mum has spent weeks restoring with personalised embroidery and stuff inside.

At least it will keep you warm this winter. You do have a proper fire you can burn it on dont you?

I might be going there with a lady friend in the summer.

What's there to do there aside from eating cake at cafés?

Not a lot mate, not a lot.
Enjoy the buildings, you can pretty much walk everywhere in the city.
Take the train to Bratislava.
Eat Schnitzel and potatoes. And sausages.
Shopping.
Beer.

The staff Christmas party last night was a wee bit shit, the restaurant for some reason gave us two separate booths, the six staff around my own age and above who went got the one table and I was left on the second with two seventeen year old weekend girls. however hard I tried to be a conversationalist all they wanted to talk about was boys they fancied at their college.
Wound up getting rather drunk by myself until everyone had finished their food and we all squeezed into the first booth and I finally got to join the group for the last twenty minutes before everybody went home.

Mugged off. Seems like the other people your age didnt want you there.

Just finished work. What an absolute MESS.

I work in Currys/PC World call center, Knowhow. The phone lines have been on and off all day, been having customers complain at me about not being able to place an order over the fucking phone, lazy bastards should have gone and bought it in the shop.

Black Friday was a ball ache, on an average day i take roughly 600 calls, on Friday i took 2,781. Saturday not much better, took 1,946. Today was brilliant though, only took 129, because of the phone lines

Also earnt a bonus of £170 for this month on Friday. I call it a success \o/

Also the website showing the queue was absolute bollocks, never once on Friday in the call center did anybody get that message, clearly artificial like someone above said, its to make people rush to buy things then cos they think 177,000 people waiting will mean products will sell out fast.

Currys/PC World made a killing though tbf, i sold 126,000 worth of stuff in my 2,781 calls, and there are 130 people on the sales floor.

I work in the distribution centre in Newark, in one of the offices. Sales were 200% up on last black friday.

That bonus a standard half year one, or just for black friday work? I get £585 bonus on Thursday :o)

Well no shit but setting up an artificial queue system to access a website is another level above

The queue was set up after almost all the major retailers bar Amazon's sites went down in order to keep the site running and some sort of order.

The British love a queue you know.

Trying to get onto the Currys/PC World website to browse the laptops on the Black Friday deals, had the page "loading" in the background for about 45 minutes, maybe more, at the moment. Says I'm number 55729 in the queue...

I work in the distribution centre. We've been told to stay off the site while at work because of this.

We've had more orders in the 1st hour of today that we would have in the first 6 hours of a normal day.

Sorry.

Forest have signed Tom Ince? Nice work.

Obviously not a proven Prem player yet but can certainly do it in the Championship and will hopefully kick us back on track.

I'm not judging you if that's what floats yer boat, but I think I'll pass.

I would say Tinder, but the chances of a basement dweller getting a match is slim to none, so its pointless.

We eat fairly well at home, do a nice meal like cottage pie or something every night. It's expensive days out where we go to one of the multiple major city's that are all within 20 miles or so and rack up a coue hundred pounds worth of impulse shopping on clothes, DVDs etc followed by a restaurant meal afterwards.
Also taking a packed lunches to work instead of buying a meal deal at boots everyday has saved almost £140 and doing a weekly shop with a proper list rather than walking around the super market and buying everything that looks tasty has cut back a fair bit.

True. Me and the wife did a months menu a few times, then did a list based of that for a big monthly shop for store cupboard stuff/meat. Obviously we still had to buy perishables, but saved loads of money. Just laziness that stopped us doing it. Its hard to find time and motivation when you have a kid and your only time to sit down/cook etc is between 8pm-bedtime.

Quite pleased with ourselves this month, since finding out we are expecting we've cut back on all unnecessary expenses and have saved over £1.2k in just a month.

1200 in a month? Jesus. Eating beans all month were you?
