I'd rather call it a Super Hexagon! (get it?)

Anyway, I have in fact DL'd an Oceania mod, and will be starting on a Penta-Hexa challenge soon, through the use of YoutTube to record my progress.

I think it would be getting too easy now with Everton after winning the league.

Any ideas what type of save you going to do?

I've had an eye on either the Hero save or the Pentagon Challenge. I may do both at the same time, but I'm still deciding which one I want to write about; the other one will be a background save.

Epic finish to the season

What's next for you?

I'm seriously considering retiring the save now, at least from a constant update point of view. I mean, it's gotten to a point where I'm reaching near Barça/Real/Bayern levels of constant winning, where it's not if I win, but by how much. I may play this slowly in the background of other saves, just to see how far I can continue the Everton legacy. But for right now, I think I'm done updating this one.

Final four matches in the season, and you couldn't ask for a more perfect ending. Strong to dominant performances throughout the last four matches! Undefeated in the month of May while only conceding one goal in 4, and you know what, I'll say it now since I'm so happy: We win the Premier League title!

The papers may claim it's a double, but in reality we've won four trophies this season: the UEFA Super Cup, the Community Shield, the FIFA Club World Cup, and finally the culmination of the season in the Premier League trophy. I'm so proud of the squads I keep putting together, where we almost always have a legit shot at the title each year. This time it came to pass, and that makes two titles in 3 years for the Toffees.

Quite honestly, I should've not played Isaiah Brown in the final season match if I wanted to collude Lukaku to another Golden Boot. Brown needed two goals in the final match to surpass him, and that's exactly what he did. Brown'll be going back to Chelsea with that award in his hand, where I'm sure he'll be demanding more money and possibly a transfer move if Chelsea don't use him properly like me.

http://i.imgur.com/aeVeQ5r.png

And one more piece of busniess, we're getting a new stadium officially! "Everton Stadium", I really hate those generic names, couldn't have let me choose to name it? Either way, it'll hold 58,000 people, almost 18K more than Goodison, and will sure to bring in some added revenue on the season.

Thanks again for following me this season, it was a blast returning back to the top of the league again. I have a ton of business coming up in the transfer window, as a couple of big names are stuck deciding between a contract with me, or a move somewhere else. Who knows, we may have several people leaving this off season, aside from the retirements of Jagielka and Howard. Tune in next time to find out!

Thanks again for reading, and as always, I'll see you in the next post!

Shaky month this time around. Not good this close to the end of the season. We started off against Fulham at Craven Cottage, and collected a victory on the back of a very possession heavy game. Isaiah Brown nets a brace outside of Leighton Baines' free kick free goal to open the match, meanwhile Fulham nab a goal on a dumb ball over the top of the defensive line.

We followed that performance up with a dominating game against Blackburn, having 4 players score, 2 of them with braces. Isaiah Brown and Dorin Rotariu anchored the scoring, Rotariu actually aiding Brown on one of his goals in the rout. Blackburn were able to crack our defense in the first half, but it was all Everton all day, and another win to tally.

In what was to be a tight match contested all the way through, our battle with rivals Liverpool didn't garner the result I would've liked, as we fell to them 2-1. The first half belonged to us, capped with a fine goal scored by Isaiah Brown. Liverpool responded in the second half by breaking down our defensive line, and slotting a pass to Enner Valencia. The game looked to be going towarda a tie, but Leighton Baines made a horrible tackle in the box that was called for a penalty, which was converted with ease. All 3 points lost by a stupid error, not good this late in the season.

Our Champions League Quarter Final tie with Real Madrid was up next, and both matches ended up with the away team winning. In the first leg, we scrapped away with a 1-0 victory at the Bernabéu, even though all the possession and shot when the way of Real. I knew coming back to Goodison, there was going to be trouble if I continued to play slightly offensive to a more conservative, counterattacking style of play. It didn't work well, sadly, as Timo Werner scored a hat trick on top of a stupid own goal on our part, nullifying our lead and then putting us in the losing side quickly. We did manage to score the opening goal of the match here, but after that the wheels fell off and we couldn't capitalize.

Our form further fell when we struggled against Arsenal at the Emirates, falling to a miserable 3-0 scoreline. Carlos Fierro, who has been stellar for the Gunners since his arrival the previous season, nabbed himself a brace while Sami Khedhira cleaned up Butland's spilled shot block.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/JoO1tGZjSvgTLhnVazIX6FVyOfkmriIU50B95MID.png

Still a very nervous 2 points clear at the top, even after the Arsenal loss. With 4 matches left to go, it's more than likely down to just us two. Chelsea and Man U need to win out to come close, so that's why I think it'll be a two team race these last 4 matches.

So I've been eliminated from the Champions League, but I'm not too mad, since it was to Real Madrid. Leaves me focused on the Premier League now. With 4 matches left, can I hold on to the lead. I practically need to win out to guarantee myself a Premier League title. Tune in next time to find out if I do! Thanks again for reading guys, and as always, I'll see you in the next post!

Decent month after the perfect one last time out. We started by blasting away Southampton at home. Isaiah Brown channeled his inner Lukaku and scored a hat trick as the rest of the team pelted the Soton keeper 17 times in the victory. Sure, the only shot they took went in, but with all this offense, defense was optional.

We followed that up with the return leg of the Champions League, where Mönchengaldbach and us played to a scoreless draw. No worries, touhgh, as, that puts us through to the Quarter Finals. Who will we face? More on that later.

Back in the league, we struggled to find the net most of the match, but did manage to scrap together a 2-1 win away at Crystal Palace. Roberts and Brown book end the scoring on the day after some lovely ball movement to get it into scoring range.

We all have good runs, and unfortunately this one had to come to an end at some point. Home versus Man United, we could not cobble together a real attacking chance for long, as United take all 3 points on the day, winning 2-0.

Uh oh, that's not good. That's not good at all for our run down the stretch. Let's hope Brown can fill Lukaku's shoes well, and that the revolving door of center backs can hold the fort down.

Still top of the table, and only 2 points separates us and Arsenal; we far and away have the better goal difference in case it comes down to it. Man U, Chelsea, and Spurs hold steady.

A perfect month, which quite honestly was to be expected of us as the new table leaders. However not having Lukaku did worry me a bit at times.

We started off slow against relegation tipped Bournemouth, and while some halftime changes didn't change much in the way of how we played, the team received some favorable bounces, allowing us to score three times in the span of 15 minutes to put the match away, Leighton Baines' free kick free goal being the capper.

Next up in league play was a home game against Tottenham. Lamela got Spurs off to an early lead, but Youri answered quickly to knot the game back up at 1. The breakthrough came right after the whistle blew to start the second half. Magnificent play up the left wing, where Rotariu crosses in the ball and Brown gets on the other end of it to strike it home, not 20 seconds after restart. Butland wasn't threatened much in the match, as we held on for the win.

Going up to Geordie town, as we played at Newcastle next. Another clean sheet for Butland, as Newcastle didn't get any shot on target throughout the match. We started off slow on our end too, though, until a fluky own goal got us on the board. Cerny and Stones put in beautiful header goals in the second half to seal the victory.

We entered back into the Champions League after a two month break, taking on Mönchengladbach away in the first knockout round. Results were solid, as we scored 2 goals, along with the help of another own goal, en route to a 3-1 win, and pretty much command the tie at this point.

And last up for the month, a home match versus Middlesbrough, who we had a shock draw result last time out. This time was different, as we secured the 3 points at home with a 2-0 victory. Isaiah Brown has shown to be exactly what was needed with Lukaku going down, as he was the instigator for both goals, scoring and assisting.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/LijrHaK3GQe3C7WE2YEpg6aBmmWRmorYQ3t1UO70.png

After a short February, we are 3 points clear of Arsenal, while Man U and Chelsea started to slip up a little. Liverpool has begun a rebound, now in 11th place, while Hull are still looking to get into Europe, still in 7th.

Looking ahead to next month, only 3 more PL matches, plus the second leg of the Gladbach match. Form can't dip now, will I still be on top of the table? Hopefully. Will I advance? More than likely, but let's find out! Thanks again for reading, and as always, I'll see you in the next post!

Pretty good month for the most part, it's that last little bit that made me shake my head; more on that later. First up were the mighty, mighty Leeds, who proceeded to demolish but the one man team that is Romelu Lukaku once again. A first half hat trick, and 4 goals total on the day, the man is back to his unstoppable ways for the club, and it couldn't have come at a better time.

We followed the league match up with a trip to the Etihad to face Man City for the 3rd round of the FA Cup. Sergio Aguero was their star of the day, netting himself a brace, but Patrick Roberts nabbed a brace for us as well as Leighton Baines showing lethal touch from a free kick, that being the difference in the match, as we defeat them and move on to face Cardiff.

Next up was the annual Merseyside derby vs. Liverpool, and once again Lukaku shows up big for the club. Getting himself another hat trick, which took almost half the shots on target, we took down the Reds 3-1 to further our position up the table.

It was revenge day at KC Stadium, as we then took on a Hull team that has started to descend back down the table. We caught them at a good time, as Lukaku scores yet another hat trick, putting his tally for the month at 10 goals. Certainly the injuries to Abel Hernandez and Chris Marsh didn't help the Tigers much, but on this day, even with significantly less shots taken, it was all good for Everton.

Old familiar foes Man City came into Goodison next, looking to exact their own revenge for us knocking them out of the FA Cup. It was not to be in this case, as we held strong for most of the game and held possession to create more chances than them. Lukaku nabs a brace on the day, while Youri and Dorin Rotariu (who's been dropping off lately) secure much needed goals for themselves as our 4 beats their 1 to secure the 3.

After all the form we had, all the great scoring matches, the fine finishing by Lukaku, everything going our way, and we couldn't take out a team like Cardiff. We even had a penalty kick, and the normally sure-shot Lukaku had to clank it off the post. Baines in return conceded a penalty to the Bluebirds, which they converted, and it proved to be the only difference in the match, which was disappointing. All the shot we took, all the possession, and we came up empty and eliminated from the cup. Suffice it to say, the board are not happy at all.

Sort of compounding the issue, we followed up that performance with a nill all draw to Chelsea, a match that I'll gladly take a point from, since we had nothing going our way the entire time out. Even worse, Lukaku is now out for the next month due to injury:

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/5OygYehufPYQHC976E9ELD5gPjp3wNXommAD5ont.png

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/YnqGxXLjL9BNA7SdYrWX8BJ597NkFQT5SQ9whdTU.png

We saunter our way into first place after the fine form we had throughout the month, with Chelsea and Arsenal hot on my heels. Hull have tumbled down to 7th place, while Liverpool are the shocking team currently, sitting in 15th place. Manager Slaven Bilic sacked in the morning?

Midseason stats

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/wwTzKK3IB5qf0zP8UBrNduy0EQNaWHgLfa0c67BT.png

A little late for "mid season", but here's a stats report nonetheless. Before he was carted off injured, Lukaku has been a sharpshooter this season, scoring 30 goals in 25 matches; Isaiah Brown is the closest to catching him, and he only has half his total. Amazing! Patrick Roberts is leading the team in assists with 12, with two ore in double digits. And of all people to have the highest average rating, I would not have guessed Ross Barkley would be one of those people at the halfway point; he currently has a 7.80 rating.

Transfers

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/R5ELVV9DufNLLRmnvLtXYoALgiuT4KUhWyyVuCnm.png

First the outs, and one that I'm really sad to report is that Nick Powell has been snapped up by Chelsea. I tried to do everything I could to keep him, but he was causing too many problems on and off the pitch. I'm also disappointed in the sale cost for him; he's worth much more than £12.5 Mil. Sam Byram, if you remember, was brought in at the start of this season as cover for John Flanagan, and I remember saying that with Stones and Zouma also in the mix at playing right back, he might not get time. Well, I was right, he caused a stink about it, and I decided it was right to let him go for the same cost I bought him. Kieran Dowell was one of my youth squaders from the start of the save, but he never progressed high enough to challenge for a first team spot. He had decent value, and I knew someone would take him.

And now the ins. All 5 of those players are under the age of 20, as Iook to build for the future. For players like Yuri, Adryleson, and Martin Fernandez, that future more than likely could be somewhere else if I can develop them up enough.

Hull are being very cheeky, Dan. Though, I'll be more surprised if they keep the form up for the rest of the season.

Fun note: at 33, Wayne Rooney has officially been released on a free from Manchester United. He rarely played for the side the last two seasons, and remembering his stats, he's been in considerable decline. Not even worth a look at picking him up.

Woah blimey! Way too much going on this month, let's just run it down match by match. Starting with a feverish 1-0 victory over Fulham at home. Cards flying everywhere, and Patrick Roberts getting the strike against his former team, as we start the month off strong.

Next came our final match in the CL group versus Ajax. Since we had already secured first place, I had sent out a mostly rotated squad just to get some playing time in for the boys that haven't had much this year to try and placate them. It didn't end well, as we suffered defeat, and while there were some positives, it's never good to lose.

Good thing we followed that up with a win against top of the table Arsenal, and a convincing one at that! 4-1 against the Gunners and Isaiah Brown, filling in for the injured Lukaku, bags himself a hat trick, while so to be future teammate Nick Powell caps the Everton scoring. Brown did have to go off, but ti was nothing major as we take strong form going in to the Club World Cup.

The CWC was hosted in Johannesburg, South Africa this year, but all eyes were on us and Vélez as the frontrunners to win. But YIKES! That's some hardcore beating we laid down upon Algerian side ES Tunis, I've never seen such dominance in an FM game before 48 shots total!! That's got to be a record! We were just peppering the goal right, left, and center, that we didn't need the added own goals to the tally. 8-0 scoreline, and on to Vélez in the Finals.

It was touted to be an even match, possibly going in to extra time, and for an hour it looked just like it. But then the Vélez defense started to bend. More Everton shots came blasting in, a total of 21 in all, and in the 74th minute it broke. A blast from Vaclav Cerny in the box, which he followed with a steal and score. KAPOW and Nicky Powell grabs a goal off a free kick himself, and before you knew it, in the space of 4 minutes, we were up 3-0. It was such a joyous feeling watching it in real time. I knew we won, the players knew it too, and when the timer finally ticked up, we celebrated another major achievement, the Club World Cup championship!

Getting back to the Premier League after the high of winning our third trophy on the season was going to be difficult. The form we were coming off of had to last, right? Well, Stoke had other plans. After Ross Barkley got us in the lead early, the Potters tied it up on a defensive miscue, and were very threatening throughout the match. We could've easily lost, and I'm glad to take the point, but it was a match that needed to be won if we were to remain title challengers for now.

Norwich played us tough the very next match, even opening the match with the lead after 3 minutes. Isaiah Brown carried the team to victory with his brace, and while Norwich did score late, we were able to hold the fort down the rest of the way for the win.

As if the tie to Stoke wasn't bad enough, losing to Aston Villa made me disgusted. Our finishing wasn't there, our passing was terrible, and the defense had to let one cheeky overhead ball get through for the Villans to score with. Bad day all around.

The month did end solidly for us as we defeated Swansea 2-0. Overpowering the goalie with constant shots was the key to our success.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/EfPTGEv6GhpqSG6FW7SRkgKDLrLbFlFVtPn1ck1b.png

At the halfway point, we sit in third place, and you'll be very surprised to see that Hull moved into our old second place position. I'm not happy about that at all, and I'm looking to gain some retribution next month over this.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/TJt6zcqmxXi0arS6IJY94Qt8HFlhV2xY1IiR3Tot.png

Oh great, a tough draw in a cup competition. Why am I not surprised that I get shafted more than I get favorable draws. Oh well, we'll see.

Top of the group, fantastic finish. And I take back everything I said from the FA Cup, this is actually a favorable draw for me. Monchengladbach are one of the weaker sides I could've faced, and I definitely see myself advance to the Quarter Finals.

So all in all a good month. Another trophy in the bag, and I look to continue the solid form I've had most of the season. Will I advance out of the cup? Will I get revenge on Hull from earlier this year? Let's find out shall we! Thanks again for reading, and as always I'll see you in the next post!

A lot better month than the last, as the boys kicked in some strong form on the back of two blowout victories. First up in the month of November was a trip to Southampton, where we utilized our wing play over and over again to create attacking chances. They couldn't stop us all that well, as Lukaku netted a brace on the way to a 3-1 victory.

The second leg of the Champions League group kicked off at home versus Steaua, and while it started off great with Mirallas scoring within the first five minutes, our finishing was shockingly disappointing throughout the match, evidenced by thw 24 shots we took, as we only took away a 1-0 win.

Next up were cellar dwellers Crystal Palace, and they looked every bit the last place team on this day, as we demolished them 6-1. A Lukaku hat trick and the Palace keeper's own goal were the highlights of the day, while I was slightly miffed we conceded one. But only slightly.

Our domestic league form took a sideways glance, as against Manchester United we drew them 1-1. Not a bad result away from home, as we were chasing them for most of the match, but also a result that could've easy gone our way had we made more attempts on target. The Red Devils hammered us and we were lucky to only give up one.

Look away, kiddies, as the result versus Lyon is not fit for young eyes. The 7-0 drubbing was astounding to say the least, as I didn't expect to do this away from home. The Lyon supporters were filing out of the stadium by half time after being down 4 goals, and it didn't get any better for them on the other side. Our offense just clicked today with six different goal scorers, as we punch our ticket to the knockout rounds.

Still in second place after 12 matches, 3 points back isn't that bad. At least we are keeping up with Arsenal to some degree, but I need to hope they stumble somewhere along the way. Chelsea, Ma City, and Hull (fecking Hull) are right behind me in the hunt.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ioWPTd9Y9lt4y8MBW6BkL1gI6jbYB62gnBRFLkPg.png

With one group match left to play, we have advanced as the group winners to the knockout rounds. Time to play a rotated squad, since the result of the Ajax match doesn't matter to me.

FIFA Club World Cup is next month. Vélez from Argentina and my team are seeded for the semi finals. I'll be taking on one of the remaining 5: Auckland City, Orlando Pirates, Al-Nassr (KSA), ES Tunis, or New York. I must say that outside of Vélez, all of these matches are not just winnable, but could have blowout potential. Only time will tell. And who will I face in the first knockout round of the Champions League, as well as the FA Cup? We'll find out next time! Thanks again for reading, everyone, and as always I'll see you in the next post!

A decent followup month, two losses but for better or for worse, they were both in cup competitions. We started the month off with a resounding defeat to Ajax away from home in the Champions League. All of our possession and we couldn't turn that into goals, all the while they slammed two in the first three minutes. Gutted.

Followed that up with a solid performance against Newcastle, though. It was 1-0 going into the final 10 minutes, when the team slammed in the final three. Don't know what took them so long, considering we, once again, had majority possession, but just couldn't find an initial way to finish our attacks.

Middlesbrough. Oh boy, did this match piss me off something fierce. We jump out to a quick 2-0, then 3-0 lead in the first half, then Kent from M'Boro scores just before halftime. Ok, I though, it's not all that bad. We hold on to the ball maybe score another goal or two and put this out of reach. NOPE. We manage just 2 more shots total in the half while they claw back from 2 goals down to end the match in a draw. Utterly disappointed in how we finished the game.

We followed that performance up with a win back in Champions League play over Steaua. We bombarded their goal as we sailed towards a solid 2-0 win to see us up at the top of the group halfway through the group stage.

Our domestic league form got back on track as we demolished Blackburn 4-0. Lukaku wasn't severely injured in the match, and was able to play in the Cup match versus Chelsea.

Boy was the Capital One Cup as tense match versus Chelsea. No score after 90 minutes. A Chelsea goal to open the extra time, and then near the end of the second half extra time, John Stones comes back and rescues us to force a penalty shootout. Here's where it gets dumb: We score our first three PKs, Chelsea miss two out of their first three (Aboubakar 1st, Ledda 3rd), and I'm smiling from ear to ear because I think I have this won. Dosso and Gaya proceed to miss my next two PKs whilst Chelsea equalize to force a sudden death situation. We both score in the 6th round, but Nick Powell misses in the 7th round, giving Chelsea the win and the advancement.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/uTXI31o7yvUyohVWxEJn3dPLAVt5PlJJPEgw2TJF.png

After three more PL matches, we sit in 2nd place, but Arsenal have a good sized lead at this stage in the season. It's looking like how Man U were running away with the lead last season, and everyone was chasing them the whole time.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/FfpJe1Ikg5TauvIiRlQlQzhAGpbqBY9LCh2dDa7c.png

Top of the group at the halfway point, the return legs are where I'm going to need to buckle down and play properly.

Any bets on Arsenal running away with the league like Man U did last year? Also, Club World Cup draws will be coming out next month, I wonder who I'll get for that! Thanks again for reading, guys, and as always, I'll see you in the next post!

Yep, Dan, Hull again. I will beat them one day, just not that day. Also, season's still young, plenty of time to make it up.

It's always great to have a pocket double before the season begins, Johno. CL group looks tough only because of Lyon. Ajax and Steaua are beatable both legs.

Cheers, KEZ_7! I've been scouting a lot of youth players to try and fill the philosophy I agreed on with the chairman. And to be completely fair, they look like they'd develop a lot more than what my current youth group is at the moment. Time will tell.

Sorry for the absence, boys, holiday season and all took me time away from playing.

A stellar month, where we almost went both undefeated and not scored upon in six matches! We started off with a fantastic win over Man City at the Etihad. Lukaku with a beautiful brace on the day, however Patrick Roberts picked up a sprained ankle to put him out 5 weeks.

Minus Roberts and Isaiah Brown due to a loan request, we still were able to be victorious over Chelsea at home. The lone goal in the match was John Stones slotting a header in off an early corner kick.

We opened our Champions League group against Lyon at home, where we took control of the group right out of the gate with a 3-0 win. Lukaku with another brace while Youri Tielemans capped the scoring, as the two Belgians presumably taunted their French counterparts up and down the pitch.

We continued our fine form next up against Bournemouth, however it took longer than expected to secure the result. Kevin Mirallas broke the deadlock in the 77th minute after a ball over the top of the defensive line found it's way to him, leaving him one on one with the keeper for the score. Powell double the lead 4 minutes later, all but securing the victory.

We then took on Swansea in the Capital One Cup, where Nick Powell up in the AMC role this game netted himself a brace, one goal at the end of each half to put our undefeated run at 5 game.

However, it all came tumbling down at the end of the month, as a trip to White Hart Lane and Tottenham saw us lose 4-1. The revamped 4-4-1-1 tactic was proven ineffective on that day as David Silva was the mastermind of all the Tottenham attacks. Nick Powell scored a consolation goal at the end of the match to prevent the shutout, but overall it was just a bad day to be had.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/cqWtLqmI6xrIq9A6mJon6pLk5Nhe9nkJnMiRKxBd.png

5th place after 6 games, nothing to be ashamed of so far (except for the Hull loss), and the season is still very young. We have plenty of time to make up those results.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/1hrelqjZZck8FLlFkdEg11q8uQjdxIVNf1Ulu1dQ.png

Finally, out of all the teams in the competition, we had to go and draw Chelsea. Not someone like Portsmouth or Bradford or Leyton Orient, but Chelsea. This is going to be a tough tie for us.

Another month down, and the Champions League is starting to ramp up. How will I fair next month against Ajax ans Steaua? And how about the Chelsea Cup match? Let's find out then! Thanks again, everyone, for reading, and as always, I'll see you in the next post!

Christmas Miracles: Season 2

Let's go have fun in Poland's neighbor, Ukraine, at the top flight league Premyer Liha:

http://www.futbol24.com/upload/team/Ukraine/Illichivets.png

The one and only team in the relegation zone is Illichivets Mariupol, a team that, for the last 6-7 season in the top flight league, have come near the bottom every single time. I'll try and turn that around by not only getting out of the the relegation zone, but make a run for a mid-table finish.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/OyZI2LbQUO0ykp85syMdZ6Ret33gHfT06rNYNU58.png

Matches up to this point look rather dismal, even if they are advancing fine in the cup. Cup isn't my priority here.

Squad look a bit rubbish up front and in the middle, I'll look to strengthen those areas during the winter break.

The Podbeskidzie Problem

So as you saw from the opening post, we Podbeskidzie were dead last in the table. Fortunately for me, the Polish leagues split into a Championship and Relegation group stage at the end, so even if I did come in last, I'd have a little better chance to redeem myself if I hadn't soiled the bed against the other relegation group mates. Here's how the second half of the season went:

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/7XM7iP47sr8n09G9Rj3u6FqlRSFWpNvS0AUunGf0.png

Good strong start right out of the gate with two victories over Piast and Gornik, but after that, the wheels came off the train, as we managed only two more league wins out of 9 matches, guaranteeing us last place in the league and a spot in the relegation group.

Once we were in the relegation group, however, the difference of play was night and day. We came out firing shots left and right at these teams, Gornik being the only one to prevent us from netting anything. Those 9 points in 5 matches singlehandedly saved the season for the club, as we skirted over the relegation bar and the club remains in the Ekstraklasa, at least for one more season.

I've decided to manage somewhere I haven't touched yet: Poland and the Ekstraklasa. And within that I've found a team that could give me a good start at testing this challenge out: Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała

Last place, yes, but not that far out that climbing out of relegation isn't improbable. There are only two relegation spots in the top league, so 4 points under isn't bad with 11 matches left to play.
