Really disappointing to lose at Exeter today. We were good enough to beat and he had the chances to win this game but a top free kick and good strike from Keohane denied us. However, this was just a set back and we shouldn't lose too much time about it because we have to focus on Tranmere next Saturday.

I tipped you boys to win the league at the start of the season, you aren't letting me down! Much rather you than Burton, what a shit hole that place is.

Many tipped us for promotion and tbh I think we can give it a real go this season, trying not to get too carried away just yet. The depth in our squad this season is phenomenal. For example: At the start of the season, Daniel Nardiello got a slight knock which kept him out for a while. During this period of time, Danny Rose came in and scored 5 goals in 7 games, which is a great return for him. Yesterday, Rose was a bit ineffective so we brought Naridello back on who then went on to score a brace. Also, the amount of players and different types of players we have now allows us to play with three or four at the back without wasting players or losing quality.

It's looking good now, but you never know what happens around christmas or when the first few injuries come in, so trying to keep calm just now

2-1 win against Stevenage. Not something to tell your parents about but three points in the bag. Ryan Lowe scored an absolute stunner of a free kick to level. Also upto second with Burton, the leaders, on saturday. Not reading to much into the table right now, but we are definitely heading in the right direction. UTS

I don't look at the table for at least 8 games. Used to be 10, but I have all the discipline of a gnat.

At this stage I think it's still a bit early to say someone is struggling. The transfer window has shut only two weeks ago and many teams are getting loans in to do a bit of tweaking and trying to fill in sme gaps. Up until December, we were struggling aswell as we were just above the drop and until the 42nd/43rd game we still had a chance to get into the play-offs, so I wouldn't read to much into tables and statistics just yet

Could be top-notch. Got the technique, just needs to learn where to actually play. Which is a big if, I have to say.

Hope he's better than Burke, McIntyre, Carroll or any other Huddersfield bloke that came here, played one game and disappeared into the abyss

Seeing as some Leeds fans want him back and Bolton fans clearly don't want him there, maybe a move (loan or permanent) back to Yorkshire is in his best interests. Then again, maybe not.

He's past it. Soooo past it it's unbelievable. Sticking with Leeds, Grayson seems to be the favourite for the managerial post there. Would be interesting but a good appointment if this happens.

We won 2-1 against Accy Stan yesterday. Poor game but three points, so who cares?

We've looked that bad in every game so far this season except the derby against an even worse Exeter side and for 45 minutes against Orient in the cup. We've never looked solid under Sheridan or even looked entertaining!

Well, if Sheridan would actually attack any of your problems, then that'd be fine but how this cretin can actually say you were the better side on Saturday is beyond me. Bitter, bitter, biased spin doctor

That's what I thought myself, when I saw your lot playing yesterday. You need to get rid of Sheridan, he's destroying the club

2-0 away win at Hartlepool in a very good display against a good side. Danny Nardiello and Danny Rose our scorers. Much more composure an determination in comparison to the Cheltenham game. Long may it continue

My mate is a Bolton fan and he said they were awful and you deserved to win. Apprentely it was a dodgy pen too. Wish you had of won

Yeah they weren't good. Beckford was shit in particular. When 1-0 up we did not sit back but tried to get a second. But I think that killed us in the end.

Literally heartbroken. Lead Notlob away in the derby for 95 minute only for them to score 96th minute peno and for them to score two goals in the first five minutes of extra time. Hardly been more shattered in my footballing life

I made a rare appearance at Gigg Lane for this. Bury were pretty shit going forward but could still easily have scored a couple - Pablo Mills had a header stopped on the line - and were generally the better team. Cheltenham weren't exactly very ambitious though.

Nardiello and Lowe didn't really work as a partnership.

Many people raised their concerns about the Nardiello-Lowe partnership but we have no real plan B. Clive Platt won't be good enough, loan deals for Danny Rose and Hallam Hope seem to be dead in the water and James Poole has only been back for 3 days, so he's not gonna blend in straight away.

Our lack of bite was a concern towards the end of last season aswell but it was just the 1st game of the season and we're not as deep in the shit as other teams are *cough* Huddersfield *cough* Notlob

Lost 0-1 against Cheltenham. Quite a disappointment to be honest. Thought we were good enough to beat them, not trash them. but I expected a 1 or 2-0 win

Two more additions for our squad.

Joe Widdowson signs after being released from Northampton. He will be LB cover for Hussey and is probably in it because Flickers knows him from his time at Rochdayul.
Joe Thompson signs after being released from Tranmere. And yes, he is the guy who was diagnosed with cancer just a year ago. Astonishing how quick he came back.

Yeah I haven't seen the tackle I only heard it being described as rash. But yeah I heard Bowyer was going mental about it.

Sounded like you played well and Rhodes was very quiet so you did well. It was quite close to our first team squad Gestede would have been in and Killgallon and Marshall would have started but other than that not much difference.

I was wondering if you'd have gone! I went. It was pretty poor overall. Didn't have a great view of Williamson's tackle from behind the goal but it looked mental, especially for a friendly. Looking forward to seeing it again. Didn't know Bowyer got sent to the stands?

To be honest all defenders have Rhodes in their pockets for most of the match, he's not the sort that is going to beat a man or hustle and bustle a defender, win a header or anything - he normally just gets a couple of chances and buries them.

Well basically to me it looked like Williamson miscontrolled a simple pass from the right winger and ran after it. Lowe was there first and got at the end of it with a clean tackle and then Williamson just two-footed him for fuck all reason. I wasn't quite sure about Bowyer, if he was sent to the stands after that incident, at half-time or at the start of the second half but I didn't see him so I think he's been sent to the stands.

Just drew 1-1 with Bury I didn't go so I am not sure how we played but we played most of the game with 10 men as Williamson was sent off for a "rash" tackle, not the best of results but keeps us unbeaten. Good too see Rhodes got another goal all be it from the penalty spot. Scores when he wants. What did u make of it BR and gfnx25?

Hope Williamson gets punished for that tackle. Absolutely disgusting for a pre-season 'friendly'. Gary Bowyer also acted like a complete dick and was sent to the stand aswell.
Erm, where to start for us. Was a good performance from us, but I don't know whether this will be the team Blackburn will play when the season starts so don't know what to make of this. Hussey with some great crosses, Mayor & Jones with good runs, Soares read the game well, Mills had Rhodes in his pocket throughout the game, so yeah I'm quite pleased

Lost 3-1 to Sheffield Wednesday. Danny Nardiello scored our goal which was the equalizer shortly before half time but I guess they were just too good for us. We played with four trialists. One of them was ex-Shaker Peter Sweeny, one of them ex-Dale Joe Widdowson and one of them was Joe Thompson. YES, that Joe Thompson who was diagnosed with cancer not even a year ago. Intersting to see he is back on the pitch again

Wow.That JD logo sucks arse. Why didn't thay just use circle JD logo?!

I really don't know. It's not even the design that baffles me. Why do we need to put a black/white logo on a white shirt? If the logo was blue with a small yellow touch than that would have been okay but not this. Also, the white shorts annoy me. The shorts have been blue for almost all my life and this must not change!

Sam for the away kit, although I'm probably the only one that actually likes it in a way. If the logo would have white or grey, then I'd say it would be a pretty nice kit.

But I guess the new kits will grow on me as the season goes by, I suppose
