#324217 Shedender's Journeyman Career
Shedender
October 2015 round-up
The side travelled to Brasov for our first game in October and a fighting performance saw us record a two nil win on our travels. Both goals arrived in the opening twenty minutes as Silviu Pana put through his own net on ten minutes, nine minutes later Cosmin Ionica doubled our lead.
Game two of the month saw us welcome league leaders UTA Batrana Doamna and it ended in a score draw which was a fair result. My Bihor side took the lead from the penalty spot on twenty two minutes through George Mangra but the visitors levelled proceedings eleven minutes later and that was the end of the scoring.
Dull draw. Nine attempts throughout the game, one shot on target from Baia Mare. Lets move on.
The penultimate fixture of the month seen us make the journey to Chindia and we suffered our second league defeat of the campaign, crashing to a deserved four goals to one defeat. Sebastian Remes scored our consolation goal on the stroke of half time and lost full back Sebastian Stefanescu to a straight red card.
And the final game of the month saw the side lose 2-0 at home to Metalul Resita. It was a tight game that seen the visitors take their chances but we lost Raul Ember to injury and Andrei Magda to a red card. Poor day at the office.
The team have slipped down to ninth place after a poor enough month that seen us win just the one game but we're also still overachieving as we're currently four places (and five points) above our predicted finish of thirteenth. We have won just three of our opening thirteen games but have drew seven times in those games.

Before I post up my round-up for October, I've got a new signing to unveil . . .
So please welcome Calum McHardy to Iuliu Bodola as he's signed a three year contract with us with (unless I haven't done it) an option of another two years if he turns out to be a star. He's a former Dundee player apparently but never made an appearance at Dens Park. I'm hoping he'll be a regular for us in the centre of the park.

Or they were too drunk celebrating afterwards that they've indeed forgotten what happened.
Superb work @Fola my man!

And that's my stint done and dusted at Chesterfield and it hasn't been a terrible start to the season. I don't think I'm going to have time to upload the file to @Dan so that'll perhaps need to be left until later on due to circumstances beyond my control. Crewe are perhaps the surprise league leaders early on after winning five and drawing five of their opening ten games.

David Riley's second goal in as many games saw us secure victory at Blackburn.

Poor enough result against Coventry, only positive side was David Riley scoring on his Chesterfield debut a minute before half time.

Fair result I suppose but it's come at a price - Douglas Morrison has been ruled out for up to four weeks ffs. Pulled hamstring.

Douglas Morrison's goal on fifty six minutes has given us a hard fought victory at home to Wycombe.

First league defeat of the season, probably didn't deserve to lose but Gateshead were clinical the f*cks.

Secured a hard fought single goal win away to Rotherham, centre back Craig Donaldson struck the winner just two minutes after the hosts were reduced to ten men.

Douglas Morrison strike saved rescued a point but we were unacceptably poor against Crewe.

I don't understand how we didn't win this game, far the better side. Jon Taylor scored our goal.

Max Sanders, Ash Chamberlin and Rory Donnelly struck in the first half as we advanced in the League Cup. We were excellent in the first half but quite poor in the second. Glad we're through though. We will travel to Stoke in the second round.

Agreed, the lack of weapon use for a no disqualification match was poor. In fact, bar perhaps the Women's Championship match and Hell in a Cell to an extend, the entire Wrestlemania was a let down. Can't say I'm surprised though, injuries to key wrestlers didn't help.

There is fourteen teams in the league in which you play each other twice - twenty six games overall.
There must be no more than 2 non-EU players in the first 11.
There must be at least 2 under-19 players in the first 11.
The match squad must have at least ten players trained by a club in Romania.
No trialists allowed to play in matches.
The top six teams qualify for Playoff while the teams located betwen 7th and 12th will qualify for a Playout (whatever that is ffs) - bottom two clubs will be relegated.
September 2015 round-up
Our opening game in the month of September saw us travel to one of the promotion favourites Mioveni and the game ended in a one all scoreline in which we played surprisingly well and took the lead on twenty three minutes through striker Robert Huma but the hosts levelled the scores eight minutes later.
And there it is, my first competitive win in charge of Bihor has come away from home at U Cluj and I cannot hide my delight as we had to come from behind and miss a penalty in the process. Adrian Olariu had given us a seventeenth minute lead but the home side had turned the game around before Nobert Lorincz levelled two minutes before the interval - Lorincz's second of the game, nine minutes from time, gave us maximum points.
It's back-to-back victories for my Bihor side as we secured a 3-1 win away to early season pacesetters Ramnicu Valcea who have lost top spot in the process. We've yet to taste a league defeat thus far which is surprising. Darius Himpea, Andrei Magda and Robert Huma got on the scoreboard. Andrei Neagoe had equalised for the hosts and I feared an expected defeat but we rallied and won.
Despite being second best, our unbeaten start to the league season continued with a hard fought but perhaps undeserved draw at home to Olimpia as the visitors had taken the lead inside the opening sixty seconds through Romario Rus but Ionut Tofan's equaliser on eighteen minutes was the end of the scoring with our only attempt on target.
Lucky? Let us pretend this game didn't happen, deal? Finished 0-0 and you had to wait until the 76th minute for the first and only attempt on target to happen.
And that's Bihor's unbeaten start to the league season gone but I'm actually gutted to have lost the game so late on against Gaz Metan who are the league favourites. Honestly, I thought we would've held out for a draw but Cristian Gavra's goal, ten minutes from the end broke our hearts.
I'm very disappointed not to have gotten maximum points from this game against Caransebes as we had led the contest two goals to nil thanks to a double from Robert Huma - including a goal after twenty five seconds - but the visitors, predicted to finish rock bottom (we're predicted one place above them) fought back to earn a draw. Frustrating!
Even though we haven't won in the last four games (three draws and one defeat), it's been an enjoyable start to the Liga II Seria II season as Bihor are currently occupying sixth place but the league is very tight early on as we are only six points off the leaders but seven points ahead of the basement club. I need to get this club back to winning ways and quick.

But nonetheless, you have had quite a tremendous season at Portstewart and promotion to Championship 1 may happen although of course it's going to be tough. It's not only nice to see someone else attempting to equal @Gendo in completing the British Steel Challenge but it's also nice to see someone begin the challenge in Northern Ireland. Good luck.
