Another player has joined the club and this time it's not a loan deal. James Clark has joined the club on a free transfer, penning a two year deal. He adds experience to the club, making something like 237 career appearances according to the game, scoring seven times in the league. He's got good tacking, good page and good strength. Should be a good signing.

I've just done 'a Dan' as we beat Torquay 1-0 at Sincil Bank - Laurence Maguire was dismissed on twenty six minutes but on loan Barry Edwards scored his sixth goal in his loan spell on forty minutes. Fantastic result against the 'Gulls who, despite dominating, didn't really look like scoring.

With Alex Pike being out for around six weeks due to injury, this is a pretty desperate signing (yes, I admit it and he'll probably be rubbish) but I digress, Jamie Murphy has joined the club on a 3 month loan deal from feeder club Yeovil Town. He's only seventeen so he can improve drastically.

It was all about the loanees in this game as we had to come from two goals down at home to Northampton to salvage a point and maintain our unbeaten run which is currently at eight games and I'd love for it to continue. Mitchell Duggan (on loan from Tranmere Rovers) and Conor McKendry (on loan from Ipswich Town) scored our goals in this draw. Good comeback against a team that were relegated from League Two last season.

Felt like we didn't deserve to win the league title as we weren't exactly great in those last five games, glad we got promoted though.
I've high hopes for this boy as he's signed on a free transfer after being released from Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen. I'm confident he can score goals at National League level and potentially help us have a promising season following promotion. He's only eighteen so don't want to put too much 'needless pressure' on him.

Rubbish end to the campaign because despite Elliott Hodge giving us an eighteenth minute lead at home to FC United of Manchester, the visitors struck twice inside the final twenty one minutes to give FCUM a deserved win on the road. Frustrating.

Yet again it's undeserved but who really cares? Champions following this 1-1 draw away to Solihull Moors. On loan Conor McKendry scored a fluke to give us the lead after Kyle Cowling had missed a penalty for Solihull but Cowling did level on fifty nine minutes but we held on, results went in our favour and we are up to the National League as champions.
But, I'm under no illusions, changes need to be made as we're not good enough to do well next season.

Poor game but a draw isn't the worst result as Solihull Moors also drew away at Boston. On loan Conor McKendry scored our goal on fifty three minutes but we couldn't hold on for a valuable three points as Curtis Bateson levelled for North Ferriby with fourteen minutes remaining on the clock. Four games to go.

Poor end to my stint as we crashed to a disappointing 3-1 home defeat against Airdrie in a result that's sent the visitors to the top of the table. Scott McLean scored our consolation goal four minutes from half time but it was a bad afternoon as we lost both central midfielders to injuries while Declan Hughes suffered a 'double whammy' as he's also got to deal with a suspension.

Looks like our time at Berwick Rangers could soon be coming to an end, whenever I saw the Lincoln City job available (their last manager departed for Harrogate) I decided to apply for the post as they're not just professional but also something like third in the National North.
