That depends: if you already started a save and don't want to lose your progress, then you should use in-game editor. Otherwise you could change kit number before starting a save with the pre-game editor.

Ah ah, brilliant!
My case is different: I always start from the bottom picking a previous unplayable team, so I don't know what might I do! Maybe try to relegate a Championship club down to National League North or South until kits for English Level 7 clubs will be available.
Anyway wonderful job guys! Tons of quality kits here within few days of the release of the game. You are masters!

I have all FIFA 18 default minikits in dds format. I was thinking to convert them in png and create some league packs.
I already tried to convert some of them.
here Juventus kits from FM 2018:
Here Juventus kit set which I converted from FIFA 18:
The style is very similar to the new FM 18 one. Unfortunately the maximum resolution that I manage to reach is 190x220. The default EA minikits are 256x256, but the image is centered and there is too much unnecessary space.
So the only problem with this style is the resolution, lower than other kit styles (SS, FB, FC'12 and probably FM default one), but I don't think upscaling will be a solution.
Anyway guys, what do you think? This style worth a league packs project?

Do you think all the parts from old kits could be adapted to the new template, so no need to create kits from scratch? Hopefully without lose quality?
Is it possibile to see a screenshot of that Lokomotiva Zagreb kits in game?
I feel very sorry for all the kitmakers who put lots of time and dedication to create all these stunning 3d kits.

I really like the higher resolution for standard kits and in particular no shadow around them (I pointed out this last aspect since FM17 kits have no shadow anymore!)
You could just add WBA 3rd kit?

Just an info: starting with FM 2017 standard kits have no shadow anymore!
I ask to all of you who make kits: is it possible to remove the shadow from the kits created so far? Or maybe someone could kindly suggest me a method to remove it with photoshop?
