I think Rewards usually go out a few days before release, and I think you receive them through whichever method you used to purchase the game.

Love this breakdown! Crazy how stacked La Masia still is. Cubarsi becoming the best CB in the world sounds spot on. Surprised Balde ended up at Brighto,n though, didn’t see that one coming.

Hi there,

First, thank you for creating this. 

I am having trouble with it; some advice would be much appreciated:

  1. On downloading it, it isn't verified. On testing the rules, I got a notification that "stage 0 of the world cup can't find enough teams to be created. 30 teams found, 32 needed.

How could I fix this?

I think that error usually pops up when the team list is incomplete.

Yeah, the wage demands for youth coaches can be wild sometimes! Delegating was probably the right move, though it  frees you up to focus on the first team. The budget hit might sting in the short term, but having proper staff usually pays off in player development.

Alot of people use the guides and graphics sections of the site to quickly find ID's for nations, competitions, teams and people in Football Manager. However this isn't the intended purpose of those pages and this task can sometimes be slow or cumbersome.

 

So i've spent some time putting together https://fmref.com/ to help people quickly and easily lookup IDs.

 

It's designed to be quick to use with results appearing instantly (if you have a fast enough connection) and no need for a mouse with a few easy to use shortcuts letting you search, navigate and copy ID's to your clipboard.

 

I'm open to adding new features if people have some suggestions but advanced searching for things like “Left Backs with expiring contracts” will not go in as this will significantly impact the speed and cost of the application.

 

Right now it does a query on every single keystroke, for some people with poorer connections this may not be ideal, i'm waiting on feedback before implementing any improvements in this area.

 

I hope to use what i've learned developing this to improve the quick search found around the site when adding data update submissions and other areas.

 

I'm going to tag some people who I can see in the logs search alot so they see this and hopefully give some feedback 🙂

Wow, this sounds like a fantastic resource! It's great to see someone taking the initiative to search for IDs so much faster and more efficient. I can understand the need to keep things streamlined, especially with the query on every keystroke. I appreciate that you're open to suggestions for new features while keeping performance in mind. In the latest (August 27th I think) data update the Greek Superleague has the wrong format, as new rules were introduced starting from this 25/26 season.

Basically instead of a championship group of 6 teams (like it is in the database, and was in real life for last season), the are 3 groups, Championship group of 4 teams, European places group 5-8 for the final european spot for 5th place, and finally a relegation group 9-14 (self explanatory). Also the 2nd group starts with halved points. I am wondering if a fix is possible just so the league's format is updated!
