Another great month!

Delighted with 3 wins and a late draw

We started the month with a good win over Tranmere a great free kick by Brian Howard was turned in by McDermott from close range! And Hemmings finished it off after another good ball by Howard he finished a one on one!

Then we beat Mansfield at home! We missed numerous chances including Howard missing a penalty. But Winnall scored a fantastic goal right into the top corner! Brian Howard made it 2-0 with a brilliant free kick right into the top corner which got 2nd in the goal of the month! They got a late consolation after 81 minutes but we held out!

Then we had Coventry at home and I was pleased with a point as they went 1-0 and 2-1 up they took the lead when Vigen scored when one on one! Winnall scored his 2nd in as many games when Hemmings played a very good ball across! They went ahead on 51 minutes when Obeng made a silly tackle in the box and Daniels stepped up to score. We got a penalty of our won on 65 minutes and after Howard missed his last one Madden stepped up but his effort was saved too

Mirfin also hit the inside of the post but finally we got a leveller Andy Dawson putting in a cross that went over the keepers head and all the way in!

The final game of the month we played Plymouth away, Donal McDermott was fantastic scoring 2 and assisting one! Winnall gave us the lead just before half time scoring for the 3rd game running when McDermott played a good cross and he tapped it in then with 20 minutes to go there was a scoring spree McDermott again after a brilliant first time finish off a madden cut back! When Lopez found McDermott he finished from the edge of the box to put us 3-0 up! And we made it 4-0 when they failed to clear a long throw and Ehmer scored from close range

unfortunately we couldn't keep a clean sheet when Canavan missed the ball and Grella finished well.

by 2 points to Crawley! Bolton really struggling at the bottom which lead them to sacking Paul Ince!

Good poachers goal couldn't miss, he needs a kick up the arse tho, holds on to the ball too long and slows attacks down, hopefully its down to match fitness, time will tell.

Im confident now that we're safe from the drop, which is a miracle after the start under Jones, Stuart Gray has done fantastic and Sam Hutchinson is a babe

Sounds like the same leon best as we had

Well results could have been better the Chelsea game we played very well and matched them for long spells. We should have beaten Hearts surrendering a 2 goal lead for the second game running

2 good back to back wins were good Capezzi was instrumental in the 2nd of them! We had to beat Celtic to keep the title race alive and we went ahead through Burns but they scored when Lawson looked offside and we gave away 2 penalties and Coleman tucked them away they have double our amount of penalties this season and I feel that is too many the first of these was a very controversial! Anyway Celtic have reclaimed back their title

but last season we won the league with 83 points and the season before 79 so we have 78 and their 90 points would have been very hard to beat

Well I have completed my 1st month: Starting with the league form! We were fantastic to beat Celtic! A great 1-0 win but we threw away our good work when we could only draw with Falkirk despite being 2-0 up

The 1st game we were 3-0 up in as well thankfully we were able to win that one! Now 9 points behind Celtic the league is as good as over

These were the teams that lined up! We had no full backs available so Paterson and Brewitt had to fill in.

And we were beaten Porteous was sent off at 1-0 which was gutting as we could have made a game of it but they scored 3 more after that and the tie now over we have done great to get to the 1/4 final now though!

yeah he has struggled for me too but having said that his stats and average rating are not too bad!

Also thought the ref was appalling the whole game. Apparently he missed the Gestede incident and if it wasn't for the fourth official the game wouldn't have stopped.

I would agree with your assessment of the game mate! You looked the better team and at 1-1 had 2 great chances to take the lead! Rhodes was clinical in front of goal and grabbed a great hat trick

we didn't defend particularly well but you suffered alot of individual errors, Smithies should have saved Conway's shot and I am not sure what Clayton was doing for Rhodes 3rd goal. Good to get a win

Also with regards to Gestede it looked serious and he was knocked unconscious

we are still waiting for news from the hospital glad to see you asked though mate!

A great month to start off our league 1 campaign! One loss in the league and a great win over Forest!

We started off away at Swindon and we were very good hardly giving them a sniff and Hemmings on debut was very good in front of goal scoring 2 before half time!

Then we played Forest and we more than held our own and deserved to take the lead when Greg Halford headed a Della - Verde corner into his own net, we had chances to make it 2-0 but we were a bit short at the back and Simon Cox was free on the right and finished well into the far corner with just 2 minutes left

extra time was not eventful so it went to penalties Dawson and O'Keefe missed our first 2 and I thought we were out but they missed their 2nd one! Howard,McDermott and Madden scored for us but they still had a pen to win but Taylor saved Nick Powell's pen! Tonge then scored for us and Mackie again missed for them and we won

We went back to league action and a tough game against David Syers and Brentford and we came out on top! Hemmings scoring inside a minute to continue his good goalscoring form unfortunately our lead didn't last long as Nabi headed in after just 5 minutes! Howard smashed us back into the lead though and we held out to win again

Next was on paper a tough game away at Preston but we smashed them! Brian Howard scored 2 inside the first 15 minutes one a long range strike and the 2nd was a poachers finish after a brilliant cross by Madden! Hemmings scored again after being played through by Howard and we were 3-0 up! They got one back before half time when a really poor Taylor kick found our ex loan player Hayhurst who tapped in that got me a bit edgy but we held out and even extended our lead in the last minute when a great cross by Dummott found Alex Jones (a new signing on loan from West brom) and he scored on debut!

But we suffered our first loss to bottom of the table MK dons we didn't play very well and Max Clayton gave them the lead with a fantastic finish

we should have levelled earlier when Mirfin hit the post but we were back level through Howard again, another good cross by Howard was turned in at the near post! They then had a man sent off Hodson for 2 yellows on 68 minutes and we should have took the lead

Winnall, Hemmings and Tonge all missing chances

and in the 92nd minute we were stunned when a Kerkar free kick was missed at the near post by Jones and was turned in by Powell.

Then our reward for beating Forest was a home game against Stoke which was going to be tough and we played well but they were just better and we defended poorly a Maloney free kick lobbed McDermott on debut to give the an early lead we hit back quite soon when Purdue found McDermott to finish well! We had a chance to go 2-1 up but Madden missed when one and one. Crouch scored his chance though chipping the keeper

Dummott gave away a silly penalty and Maloney scored a 2nd in first half stoppage time. Butland made a great triple save and Hemmings put another chance wide in the 2nd half.

The final game of the month was at home to Port Vale and we went behind again James Hayter heading in a corner but on the half hour we were back level a brilliant first time finish from Brian Howard! We were ahead very soon after Hemmings flick on was headed in by Ehmer almost on the line for his 1st for the club! 2nd half we sealed the win a brilliant pass by Howard found the young winger Lopez to score and a great finish across the keeper by Winnall our top scorer last season grabbed his 1st of this!

We sit top but it is very close! I am delighted to be top in my first season in league 1! Blackpool and Bolton are really struggling having just gone down. And Plymouth and Chesterfield who came up with us are also near the bottom!

I have signed McDermott on loan as Williams has a long term injury!

That was a terrible game. Worst we have played in ages another season in the championship beckons, playing one up front when we are losing with 5 minutes left is not good enough why take Gestede off and go one up front when we keep hoofing it?

Bournemouth played very well so take nothing away from them but we were dreadful and created nothing. I am going to Huddersfield on Saturday it must be better!
