went to Derby yesterday good point for us in the end with a last minute equalizer great goal by Best, Lowe and Marrow in centre midfield were very poor they ran around alot but did nothing with the ball. But Spur was excellent at left back on his debut. Good amount of Rovers fans which was good too see, also thought Will Hughes was excellent for Derby it was when he was subbed we scored our goal as well. Rochina looked a bad injury haven't seen it on TV though did it look bad ? Apparently hes dislocated his shoulder

Hopefully Blackburn can get near the top of the league this time ! But the league is so unpredictable Bristol City despite going down by a long way last season would actually have stayed up the season before that. Also we were only 10 points off a play off position despite being down in 17th !

The bookies seem to be favouring QPR,Watford,Bolton and Reading to get promoted. With Yeovil,Doncaster and Barnsley being favourites to go down.

Jordan Rhodes is favourite to be top goalscorer as well with alot of betting sites hopefully he can deliver despite the so few chances we gave him last season he still scored nearly every one.

We beat FC Twente 2-0 on Friday night. They were immense. All over us in the first half. Their passing and movement was incredible. But would you expect less from a Dutch side?

I'm not familiar with Twente at all. Was this a strong first 11?

Yeah I do I really hope we can at least give a good challenge this season. As we finished 17th last season even though the table was very close.

No its Gary Bowyer he was the manger of our youth team and was caretaker manger twice last season and did very well, only been given a 12 month contract though.

Roque went to the same school as me and was a member here about 2008, iirc. A bit controversial at times.

We were poor today. We couldn't get near Everton and they were only playing at about 70%, 80% imo. Shows how far we've fallen. A comfortable Premiership club destroyed by clueless Indians and one drunken Scotsman. Makes me sick.

Nope don't think so haha, will watch Derby on TV and then I don't fancy a midweek trek up to Carlisle haha. Fair play to you though that's a good effort!

I am going on holiday tomorrow and its unlikely I will be able to play the save as I don't think I will have wi fi. So juts play around me for now I am away for a week till next Monday but if it turns out I do have wi fi I can take over during the week sometime. Good luck everyone !!

I do like the soap opera caused by your owners so this thread should be good.

ha ha you may like the soap opera I wish I liked it as much I cant believe some of their decisions and even the people they have hired don't know what their doing. The fact they hardly ever turn up in England either dosent exactly help. Not to mention the fact they wouldn't sack Kean all season and then 5 managers in one season ..

yeah its a shame really we were prem for ages. In brief Venkys our new owners came in hired kean and didn't sack him, then last season in the championship we had 5 managers last season at various points and finished 17th really hoping for better this season !

Only a pre season game but it's amazing seeing how different we play compared to under Moyes. Jelavic is staying central, not running the channels and looking sharper. Coleman is unbelievable. The key is Gibson tho, he drops deep and gets the ball then pings it everywhere with ease. Everything has gone through him in all of of pre season friendlies so far.

We have been playing crap but yeah you look very good and we didn't really get anywhere near you. 3-1 now least we got one back Scott Dann.

Got Everton at home in a friendly today. As annoying as it is that what was an average Premiership fixture a couple of years ago is now some sort of 'prestigious' friendly, I'm going.
