Of course I'm not going to sit here and let Suarez be called every name under the sun, every time he dives, when every time someone else dives it's brushed under the carpet. Yes he dives. Yes he's a diver. Yes he's a cunt. But I don't need to hear about what a cunt he is everything he dives when you don't bring any other player up on it.

Are you being serious? To give two easy examples, Ashley Young got booed by opposition fans for about 5 matches after he dived twice last season as well as everybody going on about it for weeks. Welbeck went down easily this season winning a penalty (which we missed) and we had at least a week of histrionics about him too.

The reason Suarez attracts more attention than the rest is because nobody does it quite like him, he adds to his divography on a weekly basis, screaming like an electrocuted human-rat as he does it.

It's not some bloody anti-Liverpool conspiracy, it's just out of all the diving pricks, you've just got the biggest one.

Just as I read Franck's post I pictured him as Michael Cera in a kinda arty, indie film, driving round the middle of nowhere, awkwardly talking to this girl.

I was reading the wikipedia earlier, apparently ITV's deal expired this October and now Sky Movies owns it exclusively, as ITV previously did. But with them actually having a 007 channel, is it safe to assume that for the length of them having this deal one will always be able to access Bond on demand?

It's only for a month I think.

Well she lives in a small town and it was a Sunday so there was nothing to do there, the few places there in town were all closed, so at first we just walked around and talked for a while before going to a café, after that I got the not so brilliant idea to suggest that we could go for a drive and once we got in the car I asked if we couldn't go to the larger town near by and watch a movie, she said yes so I started driving towards it but because we were talking so much I lost track of where we were going, so we ended up driving around for a lot longer than we had to. Then when we got to the cinema it turned out that they were only showing children's films until 6 and that the film I wanted to see didn't start until 9. Because that was several hours away we decided to go back. Then we ended up eating at a fast-food restaurant and because we couldn't come up with anything else to do we ended the date after that.

So basically, we spent the afternoon driving around pretty much aimlessly before having a really unromantic dinner.

She's not the type of girl who fucks on the first date. I suppose she might have if I were George Clooney, but sadly I'm nothing like him.

That sounds like the synopsis to a Michael Cera movie.

I started a Seasons match earlier, took absolutely ages to load, got to the arena thing before game and it was a player from a different team to the one I was playing as, then it went straight to kick off missing all the pre-game stuff and it was two totally random teams and disconnected straight away, recording as a loss!

Oh I forgot Luis Suarez is the only player to dive in the Premier League. How silly of me.

Don't forget Welbeck nearly caused WW3 when he did it against Wigan and the Ashley Young business last season.

The reason Suarez gets so much stick is because he is so theatrical, he does it so often and at times he makes it really obvious.

Yeah Neville's a good professional but he doesn't have the strengths to play in that role. Him with Osman is a flimsy centre midfield. Gibson may be slow but he's good at keeping the team ticking over and holds his position well. I don't know why Moyes doesn't drop Fellaini back and play Anichebe from the start.

Don't think he was ready for the step up from Charlton reserves to playing for Arsenal away at Old Trafford but he looks pretty solid now.

I agree, though he has been playing better recently and Chelsea as a unit have defended quite well, so I guess he should get some credit.

Friedel, Mignolet and Foster have been quite good when I've seen them.

Yeah I've only listened to one Ramble but I can't really remember it other than that I didn't really enjoy it, so I guess Football Weekly is much better IMO as I listen to all of them.

Did someone say there's a Jim Jefferies podcast? I need to get on that if so.
