I checked Facebook following your comment and I have to agree. The guy on the left is Paul Ward, Beresford’s daughter appears to have tweeted the wrong picture

Think thats unlikely, the certificate was given out in 2015 by the date on the tweet and the guy on the left seems to be bald, in your 2017 article he has a full head of hair

Broomfield is currently aged 70 in game, Broomfield would have been 64 when the picture was taken

It was tweeted by Chloe Beresford (who is John Beresford's daughter)

Broomfield is the older guy on the left holding the certificate - the man in the suit is John Beresford (ex Newcastle player)
