Not been a great start to 2015, we managed to claim back top spot but threw it away losing to bottom of the table Gorica. Were only a point of the top so its far from over. Not bad for a team predicted to finish 6th.

Seen this on another site and this is what I ideally want to build.

The Rules for 'The Perfect Club'

1: Profitable club, no debt and making money each season.
We are far off. Constantly losing money each month. Promotion would help this a lot as it should bring in a much higher attendance. The big transfer puts us back in the black for now and maybe the next couple seasons but it will soon run out.

We currently sit with a balance of £383k (£20k debt). I want to build a bank balance of £1m before I look the build the squad.

2: Move a youth up instead of buying from outside the club.

This is very much happening already as I have already promoted a few youth players to the first team squad. Also Croatia seems to bring through great regens.

3: 5* training and youth facilities.
Both are below average. It'll probably be a few years before I ask the board to improve on this as the funds aren't there.

4: Value for money, goals and conceded at best possible value. (Ticket price compared to these stats)

Average attendences are up about 50 on last year but still only fill 5.11% of the stadium. Ticket prices are just £2 and season tickets £31, so I imagine I'm doing pretty well so far in the value for money market. These are the numbers so far:
- Goals/game = 1.4 (target 1.6)
- Conceded/game 1.2 (target 0.8)
- Win ratio 46% (target 60%)

5: Fighting and winning trophy’s without putting the club in financial trouble.

No trophies yet but this is a long term goal.

6: Manager must be able to interact with media and look to be happy at club. (Praising players, but not being complacent)

Simple enough to do, media handling currently at 70%.

7: Look at ex players for staff roles if the opportunity presents itself.

Again another long term goal.

Thanks lads!

Now to build for next season.

I went for a bit of a clear out. Can't believe how much I managed to bring in, especially Stevie May.

- Stevie May: had a decent first half season but fell down the pecking order and wasn't scoring much so when Blackburn came in with an offer like that I had to accept.
- Joe Ledley: was in the final year of his deal and wanting over £30k p/w to sign on, cashed in while I could. Also means Jason Lowe can step up to a more regular spot.
- Georginio Wijnaldum: Didn't live up to his first season of 16 goals and 17 assists and asked for a move to a bigger club, £5m profit I wasn't complaining.

Just wondering if you could post your Celtic team? I'm just about to start my 4th season and wouldn't mind a look at someone else's squad to compare.

This seasons goals:
- Win the league by at least 10 points
- Reach the Champions League quarter final
- Make the squad more home-grown
- Have the league top goal scorer.

So how did that go?

1. Won the league by 16 points.
2. Fail, but went on to win the Europa.
3. Fail as there wasn't much transfers
4. Jordan Rhodes with 23
