Oh and Giggs getting a standing ovation when he came on from certain parts of the Bernabeu was immense.

Also noticed a few home fans applauding him when he slide tackled someone and then skinned Arbeloa.

He was so good tonight, a brilliant outball whenever we needed it and his pace and enthusiasm really caused them problems.

And maybe people will see that Rafael isn't quite as good as they try to make out.

If he wasn't that good he wouldn't be playing week in week out at the best team in the league right now.

Can't believe RVP fluffed that volley, could've easily come away with a win but I guess de Gea made some awesome saves too.

Welbeck was fucking awesome.

Phil Jones has been everywhere. Still goals left in this, wouldn't bet against both teams scoring again.

I'll take a narrow loss tonight as long as we get a goal. 2-1 or 3-2. Obviously anything better is great.

I'd say they were pretty equal, but Zabaleta is at his peak whereas Rafael is still learning.

We'll see how Rafa does on Wednesday against Ronny.

Why so tetchy? You really seem to have it out for me recently...

Obviously, if Arsenal were in United's position, I'd be overjoyed. I'm not saying that United fans shouldn't be pleased/ enjoying it, I'm just saying that as a relatively neutral observer the title race is over and the EPL is less exciting as a result of it.

Ha sorry, wasn't supposed to sound bitchy.

The title race is over. Boring now.

Like you'd care if it was you in the driving seat.

Still not saying anything though.

Apparently, looks sexy tbh. I hope the United kit looks something like that but I highly doubt it.

Look at the Rooney goal, for example - Walcott was wide on the right, and when Wilshere burst forward, he was able to slot the pass through because there was a sizeable gap between the centre-half and the left-back. That's our best bet of scoring, in my opinion, as opposed to packing the central area with players and try and pass our way through the centre-halves.

That makes no sense then, you said you wanted an out and out winger to beat a man and get a cross in. In this situation Walcott's been played through the middle and had a shot. Are you suggesting Welbeck couldn't do that?

Muller maybe but he's nothing like the other two players mentioned, he's a centre forward certainly, but for me he offers absolutely nothing when on the left hand side. Not one part of his game is suited to play there and i would say his stats this season prove that.

He's fast, can beat a man and his interplay with others is excellent. He's also got an eye for goal, not one part of his game? Come off it.

And why do we need to have a player on the left that can beat a man(which he can do anyway) and deliver a cross? Who are they crossing to? Rooney. Do Spain and Germany play with out and out wingers on the left? I can't think of many who do actually.

He's been playing well for us on the wing, he deserved a chance and I think his work rate was why he was in there too. Can't see Sturridge working as hard as him to keep Dani Alves silent for 70 mins.

Yeah that team is far too attacking.

Cleverley Carrick Wilshere

Thought Welbecks work off the ball was great, worth noting that Dani Alves was invisible until Welbeck came off.

Cleverley and Wilshere in midfield was pretty sexy.

£4.50 up here, same situation as above. It's sometimes cheaper to get a daysaver than a single, so stupid.

Who would buy Nasri? Surely anyone with money that he finds attractive will be put off by how much he will cost and how shit he is.

So glad you beat us to his signing.

Hopefully you'll lose against Southampton this weekend and we'll beat Everton at home.

Bring on a 13 point lead please.

Don't think that's mathematically possible.
