Of course there is, or else people wouldn't discuss whether penalty decisions are right or not every week.

Don't really see why RVP should be off, he was a bit of a nob but didn't raise his arms or out.

Can't stand him, glad he's going to Liverpool and not someone I like.

And I'm skeptical as to whether it will work out, the guy just does not pass and we all know Rodgers is the pass master revolutionary.

What handball are you talking about?

BR. was referring to the incident involving Rekik when people were claiming he body checked whoever was running into the box

And when the ball is played in towards him Nastasic handballs it.

“Angelo is as good a goalscorer as you will find,” said Martinez. “He scored goals at Universidad de Chile and he is going to score goals here. I am sure he will be an important player for United. We are glad we can work with him and he can use Wigan as Tom Cleverley did and adapt to what is needed in this league.”

Rafa will want to win any trophy he can if he's only there until the end of the season, AVB loves the Europa too.

BR is kicked off of his 1st place spot after months in the lead!

Also, I have an idea that I'd like to share with you all and I'd like your feed back on it. What I was thinking is that at the halfway mark through the season I could split the league into two groups, one for people in the top half and one for the bottom half. In theory this would keep things interesting for the people near the bottom, and gives them a decent chance of finishing top of their respective group.

Like I say, this is just an idea, but I appreciate any input on it.

I'd say keep it as it is, anyone could plummet or go on a good run, as one of the lower scorers I think it's fine as it is.

No way do I want him to miss out, I can't wait to see him back.

We'll probably go out, but I'm mega excited. MEGA.

I hope Shakhtar - Dortmund isn't on the same night, that'll be an ace game.

Newcastle striker Demba Ba has issued a come-and-get-me plea to Arsenal, amid speculation that the north London club are set to take advantage of a release clause in the player's contract.

Ba, 27, had a clause put into his contract when he signed for the club in the summer of 2011 that allows him to leave St James' Park for just £7.5 million.

Newcastle are determined to keep hold of their in-form striker, who has hit 11 goals this season, however, they have yet to tie him down to a new deal.

The contract situation has led to a whole host of clubs being linked with the player ever since he arrived in the north-east, including the Gunners, who are looking to bolster their frontline in January.

While Ba admits there is so far no truth behind the rumours that he will move to the Emirates Stadium, the Senegal international has hinted that he would be more than open to such a deal.

"I have nothing to say about those speculations [with Arsenal]. Nothing has happened," Ba told Canal+.

"The media know Arsenal need another striker and they know about my release clause. They need to make their own mind up about it.

"Arsenal are one of those teams who makes you dream".

Moyes is awesome.

"It appeared Fellaini headbutted Shawcross today, what's your view on that?"

"Yeah he did, and he deserves whatever punishment he gets."

Valencia was infuriating today. Good win all the same.

I feel like he's been found out this season. Should try Rafael there.

“When the final whistle went, we didn’t really know what the score at City was. But then we heard the Sunderland fans cheering,” Rooney said after the game. “It was sad to see that because they should be supporting their own team really. They didn’t have the best of seasons so for them to be cheering like that was sad. It was something myself and a lot of the players won’t forget.”

Rooney brought out his latest autobiography this summer and it was clear that his feelings on the matter were still strong.
“I don’t know where I will play the previous games before it, I just want to play against Sunderland. When the fixtures come out I look for three games – City, Liverpool and Everton. This time I checked the Sunderland game. If there is one team that I want to beat this season it will be Sunderland.”

Shanghai Shenhua striker Didier Drogba is closing on a loan move to Juventus in January, according to ESPN sources.

Drogba, 34, who has been keeping fit by training with his old Chelsea team-mates, is unable to move before January 1 after his request to be made exempt from international transfer rules was rejected by FIFA.

However, the Ivorian is keen to maintain to maintain his fitness after the end of the Chinese season and, with the African Cup of Nations kicking off on January 19, could make an initial loan move to Serie A.

The Italian champions are believed to want him for longer and have offered Drogba a one-and-a-half-year contract until the end of the 2013-14 season, but the striker wants a deal until June 2015 if he is to leave China for good.

Juve are known to be on the lookout for a new striker and have been linked with moves for Luis Suarez and Edin Dzeko of late. However, they turned their attention to Drogba when they were alerted to problems resulting in Chairman Zhu Jun, a billionaire who owns 28.5% of the Shanghai club, threatening to stop paying the wages of Drogba and Nicolas Anelka unless he increased his stake to 70%.
