Hi all,

I have a problem with my own players contract negotiations. I am currently at Southampton and Nathaniel Clyne has come to me after hearing he has interest from Manchester City, so after a conversation with him i agreed to give him a pay rise to get him to stay.

However when i went to offer a new contract the agent won't let me put in an offer. Clyne then came back to me unhappy my promise hasn't been kept and i agreed again to offer him a new contract, and the same thing has happened again!

So now i am left with a very unhappy right back with a problem that is simple enough to fix, but the game won't allow me to fix it. I thought this was meant to be fixed in the new patch! has anyone experienced the same thing? Is there anyway around it? Or do i just have to resign myself to loosing him?
