#34096 Travelling across Europe - proving I'm better than Dan!

2 wins, a draw and our 2nd loss of the season. Losing to SCH Altach was especially annoying as we were 2-0 up. Novinic passed 15 goals for the season.
We are still 5 points clear at the top of the table as we go into the winter break.

Another good month with 3 wins and a draw, including another cup win taking us into the quarter final.
We are 5 points clear at the top, with a far superior goal difference.

Well we finally lost a game after I think 15 games unbeaten, and of all people Novinic missing a penalty cost us.
We managed to get through to the next round of the cup, so that is still alive until we meet one of the big boys.
A win, a draw and a loss in the league still sees us 4 points clear at the top, but 3 games closer.

Feeling fairly confident at the moment, though there is a long way to go and one or two key injuries and it could be curtains.

3 draws and 3 wins in August. A 4-3 victory over our local rivals was a nice result, and although Novinic banged in another 4 goals, taking his seasons tally to 7, our new midfielders Rasswalder and Sahanek have started to chip in with goals too.
We are unbeaten so far this season, and sitting 4 points clear at the top of the league with a goal difference far superior to anyone below us. Happy with this start.

Pre-season was so-so. We still had a lot of players on extended leave, plus I was plundering the transfer market for players to bolster the defence and midfield after losing a load of out-of-contract players.
We only had 3 games in July, one being a cup tie
The cup match went deep into extra-time, but goals from 2 of my new signings on their debuts put us through to the next round.
A nice couple of wins in the league with Novinic picking up 3 goals already, made a good start to the season overall, and we are top of the table on goals scored.

Well we had a decent run in. The 5-1 destruction of SC Austria Lustenau, our local rivals being a particularly good result. Another 6 goals for Novinic, bringing his tally for me to 13 goals in 18 games. If he has this sort of form next season I think we could do well, especially as his strike partner Zellhofer has started to find the net too.
We finished up 3rd, which I'm happy with as we were lying in a relegation spot when I took over. Hopefully next season we can make a charge for the title.
PS why is there a stupid picture of some palm trees coveing half my frigging screen so I cant see what I'm typing?

A pretty good month for us, where at one stage we extended our unbeaten run to 9 league games before finally losing to First Vienna. Novinic added another 5 goals to his total, which is great but I do wonder how we'd cope if he was long-term injured.
Up to 6th in the table, realistically we could get 2nd or 3rd this season.

Well time for some competitive matches, and overall we had a pretty good month
Novinic is looking quality with 8 goals in the 6 games, and I've already secured his services for next season. Fingers crossed that he stays injury-free.
Our games have gone one of 2 ways; either a boring 0-0 or a goalfest. The games in which we've scored have averaged over 5 goals.
Demolishing First Vienna FC who are 12 points clear at the top of the table was a great result, and beating fierce rivals FC Austria Lustenau well down very well with the fans. The 0-0 against bottom of the table SV Grodig was annoying, but overall I'm please with my first real month in charge.
We've climbed a couple of places in the league, and if we keep this form up, we should climb higher. I think I was given a bit too much to do to hope for promotion this year, but if I can keep most of this squad we should be able to make a run at it next season.

Well I took over the team just as the winter break was starting. So that gives me a couple of months to play with tactics and formations. I organised friendlies against mainly inferior opposition, to try to get some wins and raise morale which was at rock bottom.
We started off ok, but after a dismal couple of draws where we created very few chances, I had a rethink. A much better performace in the last 3 games where we created boatloads of chances, even in the match we lost to Wohlen, only poor finishing and the woodwork stopped us romping away in those 3 games. If we can convert our chances into goals over the coming months, I'm hopeful of a rise up the table.
Financially we are not in great shape. I came to the club to find that we are overspending on wages by over £3k per week. I cut loose a few players, but we are still £1k over budget. Hopefully I can get rid of a few more soon once I know who my main men are.

I fancied a change of scenery. I bought FM12 last summer and started the Steel, and was stuck in N.Ireland, now the same has happened with FM13..want to see some more countries, hence trying this

So I'm sat there collecting my Arbeitslosengeld when, without even declaring interest, I get an offer from FC Lustenau 1907. No other jobs are insecure, so I take it.
They've not had the best of seasons so far, and find themslves sitting in the relegation zone.
Time to turn this team around..hopefully.

I cant run a club with no staff, its crazy, so looks like the only option is to resign and go elsewhere, I had high hopes for this season too
Has anyone else run tnto this problem?

Lost our first game, but have not been defeated in the league since. A few too many draws, but a decent showing so far, and a cup final coming up.
We're up to 7th in the league. I think promotion will be a bridge too far this season, but am hopeful for next year.

I've been wanting to get into N Ireland for some time now, as there are a lot of trophies to be won there, and when two jobs came up there, I apllied for both. Thinking that they wont be able to afford the compensation, I waved bye bye to Havant, knowing that if I didnt get either of the NI jobs, I'd be queuing up at the dole office.
A couple of weeks went by, then I got the call I was hoping. Time to pack up and find a house in Ballymoney, County Antrim.

We had a good run in Sept after I changed tacticss, but then got hammered for a few matches..as I said, patchy form, but exceeding expectations. We are making money hand over fist, but nothing to spend it on as quality players are not interested in signing. If this was a long term career, I would stick with Havant but as the point of this challenge is trophies, I'm looking to jump ship as soon as ssomething sensible comes up
