Good luck mate!
Good work @wires2

Just need a few more and the set is complete!

Boavista [away]
Feirense [home & away]
Moreirense [away]
Portimonense [home & away]

Cheers mate, absolute legend!
Big congrats! Adam Le Fondre doing very well, bit like in real life too. Hopefully you can continue your form in the Champions League!

Thanks mate! I've realized something quite bizarre heading into the Champions League. Van der Linden has been bought by AZ Alkmaar on a free, Siem De Jong's loan ended and same with Daniel De Silva's loan. So I will be without 3 of my best players heading into the final game of the group stage and the knockout rounds if I progress.

Both March and April consisted of the final run in the league as well as the start of the Asian Champions League Group Stage. We started off really well, going on a little winning streak before playing away to Gamba Osaka where we lost 2-1. Following that loss we went on to lose another 2 in a row across all competitions including a huge match against Melbourne Victory. We managed to pick up 3 wins in the last 3 games of the league but sadly the game against Melbourne proved too costly as we missed out on the minor premiership by those 3 points.

Below is the final league table. The way the A-League works is that the top 6 qualify for a Finals Series. 1st and 2nd enjoy a week of rest whilst 3rd-6th play an elimination game. 1st and 2nd will then come in and verse the winners in a semi-final for a spot in the A-League Grand-Final.

The two teams going through from the first elimination games were Western Sydney Wanderers and Adelaide United who finished 3rd and 4th respectively in the league. We got drawn against our city rivals Western Sydney Wanderers and I couldn't of been happier as this would be our 5th time facing off this season and we had won all 4 previous games against them. And so it continued.. Can I just say Adam Le Fondre is an absolute beast and also broke the league record for the most goals in a season during this match!

We then found out who the opponents would be for the A-League Grand-Final and as predicted, MELBOURNE VICTORY absolutely smashed Adelaide to earn their spot.

The final was an interesting game. We scored from a long distance freekick to make it 1-0 and shortly after we get awarded a penalty which Adam Le Fondre buried into the bottom corner. Melbourne scored shortly after half-time but 2 minutes later Le Fondre doubled his tally and put us 3-1 up. Melbourne went on to have a bunch of shots but our keeper was tremendous! Final whistle blew and we are Premiers!

Up next will be the Asian Champions League games and a season review!
Can I make a request for Olympiacos home, away and third kits? Please! pretty straight forward adidas kits
Congrats on winning the Finals Series Dan, looking forward to see you dominate continental football now!

January was a decent month, finally getting a decent run with the schedule of only have 1 match per week. Injuries have gone down considerably and results have been a lot better. Should've also beaten Perth Glory but ended up drawing with a VAR penalty decision for them at the 93rd minute. The rest of the results were as follows..

February was a great month for us as we managed to win all 3 games in the league scoring 7 goals and only conceding 2. Finally starting to find some form away from home and making our chances count. There is also the first match of March as I accidentally went through an extra day, we managed to beat 4th place Adelaide United 1-0 with an early pen.

Below is the current league table a few teams still with a game in hand including us. Currently 3 points behind the leaders Melbourne Victory, who we will face at the start of next month at home.

Next update will include March and the AFC Asian Champions League Group Stage.

Huge win, kinda aided by 2 penalties in the first 10 minutes that were slotted past the keeper by van der Linden our CB and even managed to complete a hattrick of penalties with another in the 88th minute. Basically walked into the final.

Came up against Melbourne Victory for the Final of the FFA Cup, pretty big rivalry and my first game against one of the title contenders. Was hoping to get my first piece of silverware but it just wasn't meant to be. I'll definitely blame it on the run of league fixtures and it being poorly booked 2 days after a match, my players started the game on 80-84% condition. We still managed more shots altogether and somehow getting 60-40 possession but Melbourne were just too good on the night and made their chances count.

The first 3 months of league football has been pretty average, still trying to work out what tactic to run with this squad and injuries have been ridiculous thus far, came to a point against Wellington Phoenix at home where I had to have a bench of Youth players and ended up losing that game at home. But given the poor start we still manage to find ourselves in 4th place.

The league table after 10 games.

Not sure how many of you would be interested in top scorers but here they are.

And to finish off this update we managed to sign arguably the best keeper in the A-League for the next season on a free transfe. I'm already looking forward to having this man in a Sydney FC jersey.

Next update will contain January and February..
@wires2 mate are you make Porto kits?

They're already made, check a bunch of pages back, from 270 onwards and you should find them.
Best of luck with Sydney FC! I enjoy watching the A-League on TV in real life, so will be following this with interest!

Good luck, we don't see many Aussie stories!

Cheers guys, should be pretty interesting. I haven't done an A-League save since FM15, always tend to struggle with the restrictions for transfers, not much leeway and lack of funds.

Below are the transfers the club has brought in this season.. Most of the new players were brought in by the club in real life, I signed two players, Steve Kuzmanovski who's had a run in the A-League already with Melbourne City but didn't have much success, although he still remains an exciting prospect. And Carl Stewart who I've used a few times in past FM's as part of my Watford save and did pretty well in cup games.

In terms of pre-season friendlies, the games are always too easy as outside the A-League the teams are pretty poor, but it's definitely what you want in pre-season anyway so your players get their fitness up and to get accustomed to the tactics. Towards the end I decided to test myself against a much bigger club which was Anderlecht and surprisingly did really well to earn a 2-2 draw.

The FFA Cup which runs mostly in pre-season, with the semi's and final being played very early into the competitive season started very well for us against a State League team, I played a quite below average squad and managed a 3-0 win. Up next was fellow league rivals the Central Coast Mariners, really tough game but managed to go through in extra-time by being awarded two penalties. In the quarter-finals we came up against Adelaide United, who to be honest are probably one of the better teams in the league. Once again it took extra-time to break the deadlock and secure a spot in the semi-final.

Four teams then into the hat for the Semi-Finals draw. Sydney FC, Melbourne City, Western Sydney Wanderers and Melbourne Victory. Ideally I would've loved to have the Sydney derby in the Final of the FFA Cup but the draw decided it would be best to hand out two derbies for the semi's. Melbourne City vs Melbourne Victory & Sydney FC vs Western Sydney Wanderers. Both games should be fantastic!

Next update will include the first month of league football and the wrap up of the FFA Cup.
how do i create a config file?

Best way just take last years config file and edit it with this years teams and details. Try find the club ID for the newly promoted teams and voila!
FM19 - SYDNEY FC (The Beginning)

Former player forced to retire due to injury gets given the opportunity of a lifetime to start in management in the countries top league.

Here is the club's information that you may want to know.

Here are the club's achievements till date.

And finally before getting into transfers, pre-season and the domestic cup at the beginning of the season here is the state of the current squad.

Next Update will consist of transfers and the beginning of pre-season.
Legend! @wires2

You're doing a great job man!
Hey guys, can we please get the final 8 teams of the Portuguese league to complete the pack?

Still need both home and away:

Nacional da Madeira
Vitoria de Setubal
Newcastle United - Home Kit | Members Kit

In-Game Screenshot

I think it looks decent in game, obviously someone who's a pro at 3D kits could definitely do a much better job than me, but for the time being I think the jersey looks okay..

Also they used the random white shorts due to the Crystal Palace dark shorts. So couldn't check out the shorts.

Corinthians Brazil Seria A
Home Away Third

Much better!
I TRIED!!! so that's all that matters! Haha! Totally struggled with the sleeves and I think the stripes are too thick.

Corinthians Home

Corinthians Away

Someone else have a go at them and do a better job for the guy that requested them lol.
Anyone able to do the Newcastle United kits?

Anyone able to do the Newcastle United kits?

Not sure if anyone knows this, but once the full game comes out do we have to re-download the whole game again or will it be just an update to make it the full game? Currently playing on the BETA.

So, for some odd reason it simulates the whole thing itself instead of giving it the real results, so this qualification might be much easier than expected. I take over with 4 games remaining in the World Cup Qualification and fixture list is as follows..

Azerbaijan (A)
Israel (H)
Luxemburg (H)
Russia (A)

If everything goes to plan, I could have qualification clinched by the time I verse Russia in the last match of the group.

Next Update: Next games squads/results/post-game updates..
Portugal NT

So I've decided to start a save on FM14 Beta with the Portuguese National Team. I'm of Portuguese descent so I do know a fair bit about the Portuguese leagues and national team, talent etc..

I've never really done a save with Portugal so this should be interesting. I will keep this updated as I go. If anyone wants anything in specific, let me know..

Hi it's possible to have 3d kits of real madrid home away and third kit

thanks !!!

Out of curiosity, I've also realised there is no La Liga kits in this thread, is that because the kits are already in the game? I'm pretty sure in past FMs the La Liga has been licensed, correct?
My whole work PC tower crashed so I'm unable to do anything in terms of creating 3D kits.

Is anyone able to do this kit for me? It's a simple one..

Thanks in advance.

Also, hope the Premier League 3D kits are done soon

I second this.
Is anyone going to be working on the Premier League 3D Kits this year?
Anyone doing the Portuguese Segunda Liga? If not, I'll do it.
