Completely outplayed today and we were never looking likely for a point from the first minute. Bury dominated us first half, although we didn't help by being utter shite, evidenced by the fact Ryan Brunt couldn't win a fucking header, trap a ball or make a simple pass to save his life and yet all we still did was hoof the ball up to him. Bury had 4-5 good chances to go ahead in the first half but couldn't shoot, or cross for that matter. Second half we started a bit more lively and had a good 5-10 minute spell where we were on top, looking like we could score, and then Bury go and get a goal and it's back to the way we were. Our day was summed up when Shez made a triple substitution and we some how ended up with a right back up front (he nearly scored, too)!

We were an absolute shambles but fair play to Bury; although they did time waste a bit first half, even at 0-0.

Looking forward to seeing if gfnx25's version of events is at all similar to mine

Bigsby tremolos arn't rare I don't think, just costly, I had one on a Gretsch guitar I used to have, however people pay a lot to buy them and have them fitted to guitars that don't come with one, especially vintage ones. I always found that guitar difficult to keep in tune which was perhaps down to the Bigsby.

Ah, maybe expensive was what I meant instead of rare!

I'm not a very good player, I a lot of chord shapes, I can play bar chords and I know the blues scale and one major scale (I think, it's been about 6 years since I stopped having lessons). Only play now and then, most country because it's easiest, usually about the same 3 chords!

I've got this Adam Black guitar (not this actual one but mine's identical, down to the Bigsby, which I'm told is rare? I don't know...)

This is the reason why I'm angry we didn't invest in January. Even the mid-table teams like Morecambe or Wimbledon would have had a realistic chance with some kind of investment. Next season is going to be the same. With teams like Col U or Crawle coming down and teams like Barnet probably coming up the quality won't be much better tbh so if anyclub decides to spend next season, they have a chance of going up. Simples

I just look forward to the day we get out of this league, who knows, I might be able to take my grandkids to the game that gets us up.
