Were humiliated by Bristol Rovers yesterday. Second best to everything, defending was abysmal and no attacking threat. Utterly pathetic and if we'd have won we'd be in the play offs right now. Still, a game in hand.

Rovers' ground is shit, a marquee for one stand where there was half home and half way with the rest of the away in the worst terraces I've ever bloody seen. Impossible to get an atmosphere going.

Exactly! I mean it's like 10000 miles away from Bury but it's still a decent away day and I think for that reason alone Torquay should stay up.

They did well at our place under Knill. However, Jepson was still in charge at that time and Knill is longer their manager so our game at Plainmoor will be a completetly different one from the one at Gigg Lane. But I agree the situation they are in is horrible

Which is ashame, I quite like Torquay; and they're our closest home game.

Very important win at Wimbledon today. Even better when your decisive goal is scored in the 94th minute by Danny Mayor.

7 points ahead of Torquay and Northampton now. We should be out of the biggest relegation fears now but with all the games in hand still being played you don't really know

Can't see Torquay surviving if I'm honest, so there's only one more relegation spot up for grabs.

Beat the Daggers 2-1 today; very good first half performance, scrappy second. Not sure we've been all that convincing all season but I'll take the win which puts us into 10th. It's stupidly tight in this league.

I'd kinda have guessed they were fake. No way would she do that without even giving a glimpse or some side in photoshoots. Not that I stalk photos of her or anything. Sweet body double though!

Yeah I heard she died in UK one which is why I expected it but thought it would be later. Well played by them though as she done virtually all the press with Spacey which makes you think she would be in more then the one episode.

True, makes you wonder where all the sex scenes are gonna come from! Decent sex scene and body-double bum shots in the first episode though, and some fake Mara boobies too!

That's a shame, I missed the good football. Before Holloway stupidly went to Leicester I could have seen Plymouth going up. I remember reading that he regrets leaving.

The stadium was barely getting 10,000 when I was going, so expanding to 40,000 was bizarre! They paid quite a bit to buy the stadium from the council, and when the bid failed they fell into debt. Persisting with Rory Fallon and buying Mpenza were probably the biggest errors.

Damn near everyone here expects that if Ollie had stayed it'd have been us, not Blackpool. By all accounts he loved it here and didn't really want to leave but the board wouldn't back him (due to the financial mess that kept growing and growing, even then, not helped by shrinking gates) and so he followed the money. The one sting was him vehemently denying any sniff of him leaving but in the end he wasn't allowed out of his contract so he resigned in order to go to Leicester. To be fair to Rory he's unbeaten at a World Cup finals and scored a peach against Bristol City one time

Mpenza's debut was quality, his injury record wasn't and neither were his wages.

Luckily we're now back under decent ownership and hopefully we'll one day be part of the Premier League Thread in earnest!
