Biggest game of our season so far, the first derby of the season!! Kicking off at 12 due to instructions from the old bill, gutted I couldn't go although that's probably a blessing in disguise because we'll get ass-fucked. I don't buy this "anything could happen because it's a derby" spiel, I agree in most circumstances but Argyle are just shite at the moment.

I've done something to my ankle, The wife and I went jogging last together last night, Whilst approaching a large puddle which Kayla avoided quite easily by running around the edge as any normal person would, But me being a true Olympian decided to long jump over it, Not noticing the layer of ice just beneath the water. I of course went arse over tit.

It's not broken as I can put weight down onto it, It's just very painful to do so.

Have to lose weight then so it doesn't hurt as much.

Careful you don't end up in some situation where he remembers you have a girlfriend and invites you both 'round his house for Christmas but you're too socially awkward to explain you were lying or just lie more and say you broke up so you spend all your spare time asking random girls to pretend to be your girlfriend only to strike out but then see that one girl you've liked for years but never told her who then disappeared from your life only to now come back into years later and you ask her and she agrees and you go to his house and in the end you've both fallen in love and live happily ever after. Really anti-climactic. He tried to give me into trouble for things that I never done and I completely shot him down so he didn't have anything to say. He apologised and asked what I was doing in the evening. I said nothing now and that I had to cancel plans with my girlfriend to attend the meeting and his face completely dropped
He said if he has to speak to me again there will be trouble, but nothing happened...

Arse.

What a bandit, you could probably report him for wasting your time, seeing as how he could've done it when you had work.

It's a rather small hotel so he may well be there. I don't know. If the restaurant guy fires me I'll obviously take it to the hotel manager if he's not in attendance but I'm pretty sure it's the restaurant guys' choice. I don't think I'll get fired though given it's near Christmas and they'd need to hire someone to cover the shifts ASAP.

The thing is, as much as I don't like it, a job is a job right now. They've given me experience so I feel confident in applying to other jobs now that they don't need to train me and suchlike, but I don't think I'd quit without something to fall back on, simply in-case it takes months to get back into work. As much as I like being unemployed and sitting in my boxers all day watching shite films, I like having money to go out and do stuff and spend way more than I need to.

Let us know how it went, all the best.

I suppose, you could always go over your boss's head to the hotel manager and keep your job but then you're stuck working somewhere you don't want to be with a boss who doesn't want you there either. Fuck that bloke.

On the subject of chanting, aren't 99.9% of chants completely awful?

Singing anything to the tune of Sloop John B should be met with a death penalty. At the very least 'Just can't get enough' seems to have be fairly non-existant this season.

Not down here it hasn't, we even chant it for Warren Feeney
