Thank you for the reply, I respect that it was a niche request.

This being said, I have the solution now.

For anyone that may be interested, download the files as per usual. To add the editor data files, please navigate to:

devices/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1904540/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2023/editor data

As for editing the dbc, edt and Inc folders, please navigate to:

devices/rootfs/media/mmcblk0p1/steamapps/common/Football Manager 2023/data/database/db/2300

Then reload the skin as per the original post from Mons and all should be good to go!

I hope this will help someone 🙂

Thanks a lot! I think this can be added in the installation guide.

First of all, you will need to go on the desktop mode of your steamdeck. You then need to install a Keyboard app from Discover > Applications (I used CoreKeyboard), or you can use a bluetooth physical keyboard.

Then, you will look for an other application called Warpinator and install it. Then on your PC, you will install Winpinator (it's the same thing but for PC). Warpinator/Winpinator will allow you to send all your graphics files, but also skins, views, saves.... (basically any file you want, even movies, etc) from your PC to your deck. For that you need to be connected on the same WIFI on your PC and on your Steam Deck.

Now that you sended all your graphics files, you need to put them into the right folders. Launch Dophin (the app that allows you to navigate into your files) and on the left side, scroll down to "Devices" and click on "home", go into the "deck" folder, then on the address bar you need to add .local and follow that path :

home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1569040/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2022

When you're there, you can create your graphics and skins folders. It work the same than on PC from there.

If you want the real names, the path is :

home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 2022/data/database/db/2230

You then can do exactly like you have to on PC.

Do not forget to clear the cache and reload the skin after that.

Now you can have the same experience on the Steam Deck than on your PC!

Thanks a lot!

It seems that the ad boards cannot work well with FM2016
