I think I've tried every variation for the in-game graphics settings… Low for everything, some high, some low… And the matches are still really stuttering and I've noticed the loading transitions between days are less smooth too now. Just annoyingly laggy, not unplayable but kind of ruins it. Definitely seems to have coincided with switching to Sonoma which I did a month back, before then I had no issues.

 

I tried windowed mode based on what you said, and that's solved it for me, way smoother, but I'd much rather play full screen.

Lots of people seem to be having the same issues but SI don't seem that bothered.

 

Still much better than FM23 which just crashed unexpectedly every session for me and was unplayable.

There’s an app called BetterDisplay that strangely solves the issue for me too but you only get 14 days trial before needing to purchase a pro license. it’s strange because i didn’t even change any resolution or anything but just having the app seems to help

I'm having the exact same problem and it's driving me slightly nuts. I had no issues from launch but for the last month or so, there's been noticeable stuttering during matches. It's just frustrating and ruins the immersive experience. Most annoying is that the stuttering tends to happen in the build up to an opposition goal :-/

I've dropped all of the in-game graphic settings to low (crowd etc) and removed the shadows, think that's helped a bit. I'm on a Macbook Pro M1 Max. I don't think I can tweak the Nvidia settings.

Maybe it's coincided with switching to Sonoma.

 

I agree that Sonoma is the problem. I think something is conflicting between the FM and Apple’s game mode. 
 

I get noticeably fewer FPS in both matches and everyday processing after hitting continue. The calendar dropdown is much more laggy than it ever was before somoma. 

 

The low fps isn’t there when on windowed mode for me but I don’t want to be forced to use this and lose screen space. Very frustraying!
