Fenway Sports Group and Liverpool Football Club would like to officially announce that they have appointed Brendan Rodgers as the club’s new manager after signing a contract earlier today.
“We believe that Rodgers, 39, is an excellent tactician and motivator with a progressive philosophy. After a number of candidates were considered, we identified Rodgers as the outstanding candidate to implement our long-term vision”
