Is it possible without having a history of football in your life? What I mean by this is that I really don't know how my squad should be used. I don't have the knowledge or understanding to have a vision of what they should be doing other than trying to put the ball in the net. I look at all of the team instructions and player instructions and basically my response is, 'I don't know if they should be trying this or not.' Where should I start in gaining understanding of my players and how I should be using them? I'm fearing that this lack of instinct and knowledge could become a detriment in the enjoyment of a game that I really like. I get lucky and win some matches, but I guarantee you it's not because I know what I'm doing as a coach. Are there any comprehensive resources that can get me on the right path? I want to do more than just play; I want to be able to make good decisions.

Could the powers that be take a look at the current database as there appears to be a problem when starting a new save. The red ! marks appear where Italy and Denmark leagues should be.

@SirTAVARES That won't work though. He will make the transfer on the first of January 2020 in-game, while it should be the first of January 2019 because of the reduced year. This will be impossible to do via the editor on the site, so I think it's better if you transfer him to Benfica on 1 January 2019 in your Player and Staff Changes file.

If I shortened all contracts by one year, would the newly transferred players have a two-year shorter contract?

I think that I have found a mistake regarding the players who changed this summer. In the game they have one year less contract period.

I have checked so far Bayern, Dortmund, Leverkusen und Schalke:

Pavard, Lucas H., Brandt, Hazard, Schulz, Demirbay, Diaby, Kabak etc. all have one year less contract.
Only Arp is correct with a contract until 30.06.2024.

I also checked Griezmann at Barcelona, who has a contract until 30.06.2023, which should be 2024.
Umtiti for example has the right contract until 2023.

I could already see that the correct conditions were registered on these website.

Any help for this problem?

yes mate thats the statement I saw it looks he will be fit to pass a medical in November but obviously cant be registered until January
so no doubt this will happen(unless he picks up a major injury on top of this one )but he cannot be officially a Benfica player until next window

checked with official website too says same deal will go ahead in winter window so this transfer shouldnt be live now in DB it should be a future transfer for january as otherwise Benfica will have a player at the club when he isnt in real life
