« Fernando Lazaro sera un de mes adjoints. Je le connais bien. Il a beaucoup de talent et il sait me calmer. Le staff sera aussi composé de Claudio Caçapa, Gérald Baticle et Grégory Coupet. Je n’avais pas d’utilité de venir avec d’autres personnes. Je ne suis pas venu ici pour détruire le travail fait mais construire. C’est pour cela que je n’avais besoin de personne d’autre que Fernando Lazaro. »

Sir Miguel Barão, 44, portuguese coach was the favorite to replace former Lille coach Christophe Galtier after he left the Dogues by mutual consent before the start of the pre-season. The new coach then begins to prepare the new season with the Director of football, Luís Campos.
