Madrid let his contract expire after his loan spell with us, he only played 2 games for us but as we saw half way through my last stint we became dangerously low on strikers at one point with I think Rui Rei the only fit one.

Yeah I will try for Shaw on loan again, we are dangerously low on fullbacks now. I did make an offer for the Spanish right back we had on loan. The one starting with B but we didn't have the funds at the time due to the Ward-Prowse signing. I will try and get it knocked down a bit.

Only signing so far, English and can play a few positions. Our scouts also rated him our best right back after our loanee leaves. I have a bunch of offers for kids but they are at top clubs and keep rejecting, I will push till a certain point before giving up although a couple have complained about having the bid rejected so fingers crossed.

Still on the lookout for left and right backs but slim pickings so far, Shaw would have been cheap but wanted 210k per week. Fat chance buddy.

Okay so I have this now and looking through the squad with 3 of our fullbacks only loanees my main priority is a fullback and one that is preferably home grown. May cost a bundle of our budget but that's what we need to do.

Good work Fola, those signings look absolutely class and good to see I wasn't the only one who wanted to give Millar a chance, he just kept getting injured for me. Kelly was really pissing me off during my stint, I don't mind cashing in on him, what do the rest of you think?

Finally bagged a win in Europe but Kelly is out for 3 weeks so Fola you are left with Rui Rei to play up top.

So I have decided to stop playing the best players in the squad and play the ones who are performing and this game showed me why. Millar rarely even gets a run off the bench when Kelly starts, gave him a go and he took advantage.

Rotated the squad and gave a start to those who haven't even played a game this season, thought it might have shaken up the team a bit. Hawes looks like he wants to start more then Millar and Kelly. We did it the hard way in the end but we are through.

And it's happening again, there is really only so much we can do when we can only choose from 14 or 15 players, fill the rest with youth players and our best player is injured. After they scored the 2nd I pushed for an equalizer, they got a 3rd so I went overload and then the red card happened.

The send off didn't effect the result but we still should have had more, once again hitting the post quite regularly.
