Well not how I wanted to start off, need to familiarize myself with this team again quite a few names I don't know. So only made the one change, Casaldi was suspended so Antonio was promoted to starting lineup.

Schurrle was on fire and I thought we were in for an easy victory however everytime the ball fell to Hernandez in the box he put it away with ease.

Okay so I'm flying out on another holiday tomorrow but am quite bored today so decided to start a game as the succession game I am in has been quite slow to progress this past week.

This isn't a traditional story, take a team win leagues, cups etc. Nor is it a try to restore a former giant to the top of the mountain, instead this career will focus on players who in past Fm's and real life were considered wonderkids and going to be the best in the world but for whatever reason never quite made it.

I am unsure how I will start this game whether I will create a new team and fill it with about 20 or so of these players or start with an existing team and buy these players while selling on current players.

I feel the first option is the best way to get these players together to have a shot at being the best in the world quickly but the second option has more of a redeeming quality about it, giving players a second chance at one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Feel free to leave your opinions on which option I should take in the comments as I am going to pack and get ready now before I start the game and get too caught up in it.

Edit: Oh also for some reason I couldn't create this career as unemployed, kept getting an error so had to create it with a team I'm managing instead, it is not accurate.

The Zimbabwe v South Africa game was surprisingly good. Zimbabwe would win a lot of games with that score just they fucked up and conceded something like 14 runs an over in the last 10 overs after having South Africa 4 for nothing.

Windies v Ireland on now.

I fly to Melbourne in 2 days, probably not enough time to get a stint in but I am back from Sunday till Wednesday so if I come up in that period then I will get a stint in if not I won't be available until the following Wednesday.

Great work on staying up guys, but if you wanna skip me this round that would be great. I go on holidays next week so work is pretty hectic me training someone to take over and making sure I leave no loose ends before my time off. I will be able to play about 2 weeks of the next month but I will keep you all informed as it comes around to my turn anyways.

Also read a fun rumor about the Dudleys being surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble. They aren't contracted to anybody so it is a possibility and a fun one at that to think of happening.

Done a bit of business.

Only have him for the rest of the season but our scouts rate him better at left back then Hause which means I can push Hause into the center and hopefully sure up the defence a bit.

Should be signing in the next few days, scouts rate him as our best defender if he signs, will get him for 2 years.

I am embarrassed by this. We started out so well had all the ball in the box they just scrambled really well and we couldn't get anything away. Johnny Russell was unbeatable in the air, 3 of his 4 goals came from the head. Friojonsson comes on as a super sub to bag a double, may give him a start next game due to the size of the squad being so small and the fixtures only 2 days apart.

Well you can tell I am back, 8 goals in the game haha. Who said we can't score? Rose picked up his 10th goal and Ikpeazu with a brace I thought we were a chance of at least stealing a point.

I am gonna look at who I can recall because as I said before the squad looks very thin.
