4 points out of 9 this month, thats one more then I tought possible. But a very good win over ManC makes it an other pleasing month. And I keep my league possition steady at 9th.
Altho this season hasn't run towards the end yet, I am already eyeballing towrds next season and looking towards my next season squad. During the winter transfer window I already brought in a Dfender Central and a Defender Left. I have signed a Winger/Striker Right, Now I have signed a Winger/Striker Left (Olivier Makiadi) for a record fee of € 7.25 Mil. I still need to sign a Defender right and a Midfielder Central (BWM or BTB) and if the budget has some room left an Defensive Midfielder.

In a month where we needed to get points considering the opposition, we got a nice 7 out of 12. This will leave us 10 points above the dropzone with 10 to play. I am pretty sure we are going to do the impossible and stay up this year.
The good preformances of the team this month brought Daniel Schröer a Young Player of the month award. And as we are relitively save this season it was time to nag at the board again. Earlier I already asked for a better training ground and youth facilities, now it was time for stadium expension.

A hard month for me. We have 7 players away to the African Nations Cup. But we managed to maintain our league position. Only down side is we went out of the FA-Cup against Leeds, a team we should have been able to beat.
I signed a couple of new players. Which we brought to me by my scouting team. Unfortunatly I can used them at this time as they are all playing in the African Nations Cup. Andy Ncaca I payed € 1.2 Mil for and I payed € 400k for Malefetsane Makateng. Maxwell Ndlambe will join this summer on free transfer.

Halve way through the season and we are still scraping in enough points to keep us clear from relegation.
I recieved more job offers from Ajax; Norwich and Watford. Altho the offer by my favorite club Ajax was very tempting I want to bring Salisbury to great hights and going to stick with them.

The month begun with two tough matches. First was against Manchester City. And altho we went into the game with best intentions we where 3-0 down within 15 minutes. We didn't improve from there and they ran away with a 6-0 win.
Next up Arsenal. Unexpected we where evenly matched throughout the game. Just one moment of brilliance decided the match. So we went off with our head high but no points 0-1.
Reading should be our rebounce match, but when they scored after 6 minutes a result didn't seem likely during the first halve. Michu scored a lucky equalizer, so we did go home with something.
Michu also opened the score early against Hull, showing us the way to an easy victory. It ust took till overtime to make totaly sure.
Newcastle gave us what I consider three bonus points. They had a total off-day, and we took full advantage scoring three with-out reply.
The Wolves game was a big one they where in the relegation zone and an other win would lift us pretty save at this point in the season. But they made sure we didn't get any moral scoring twice within 5 minutes and making it 0-3 before we replied. If Mehdi Abeid brought back any hope they shattered it again immidiatly scoring a 4th before the break. We did manage to back within two again, but that was it from our part. The cleaned up just before full time 2-5.
My reputation as a manager is growing apperantly considering the number of job offers I recieved this month.

Only two matches this month. The first against Stoke. They went ahead after 20 minutes, but we kept fighting and got the equalizer before the break. On the 80th minute Daniel Schröer sent the fan into raptures, scoring his second goal on the day. But in the end the real hero was Martin Männel when he saved a penalty in the 91st minute to keep the three points at home.
Fellow strugglers Norwich where next. In an even match Norwich took the lead after 55 minutes. But today Ewan Vincent was our hero, curling home a free kick just before the end of the match.
The seven important matches brought us nine points, giving us a cousion for the next matches against Man City and Arsenal.

A very decent month. We started against league number 5 Aston Villa. With the morale a bit up from our win over Bournemouth, we started the match good. We had a couple of decent tries at goal, but the goaly just didn't want to let one pass. On the other side we remained tight at the back. So we got our first well deserved point on the board.
Next up was bottom of the league Southampton. A big match where result was in the books. But ight of the kick-off we fell behinde. From a free kick Henry Yusuf opened our top flight scoring account. Both team couldn't produce anything going forward so the draw was already reached after 18 minutes.
The two points lifted us just above the relegation zone. Next up was our duo against Swansea. First up the league tie, Daniel Schröer put us up after 3 minutes and added a second before the halve hour played. But Swansea came back from a corner. Harry Maguire scored an unlucky own goal after an hour to undo the work by Daniel Schröer. But he wouldn't let this one go, scoring two more to secure our first Premier League win.
Next up the Capitol One Cup tie. With my reserves on the pitch we started of great. David Mashego scoring after 20 minutes. But two late goals from Swansea knocked us out in the end. I feel it was a harsh result as we dominated most of the match.
But no time for mourning, because the next big match was on. Watford are fellow relegation rivals, and a good result here would lift us clear of the relegation zone for now. But we didn't have enough sharpness infront of goal to merit a result. And when they went ahead after an hour a result was off the table.
We are now sitting just outside the bottem three. Our good play did bring Daniel Schröer the Young Player of the Month. And I also filled the final squad spot up signing Michu on free transfer.

First two matches I couldn't provide any shocks. ManU out played me and 0-3 wasn't a bad result for us if you look at the match.
Against Tottenham it was a bit different. First halve we where atleast eauql to them. And after we fell behinde on the 50th minute, we had a couple of oppertunities to get level again. In the end the ran away easy winners at 3-0. But I am a bit disappointed not to be on the scoresheet there.
The Capital One match aganst Bournemouth gave us the oppertunity te regain some confidence into the next important fixtures. I fielded most of my reserves, to keep my squad as fit as possible. It almost back-fired as we fell behinde early. But we got the win at the end and it should have been more comfortable as we squandered my chances. Next in the Capital One Cup will be Swansea away. A bit tougher then I hoped, but it could also been worse.

We had a very decent pre-season. Espacialy winning a friendly cup, over Düsseldorf and Fiorentina.
I completed one more signing for € 975k a youth midfielder.
My fixture start of with a hard match at home versus ManU and away against Tottenham. After that there are seven mathces in which I need to gather the points. After those I know if its helpless or that we have some kind of fighting chance.

With promotion in the pocket I will be looking forward to next season. But first the final news about last season. Daniel Schröer claimed the young player of the year award, while I claimed manager of the year award.
Promotion gave insane financial benifits. But I won't be spending to much as I want to use most of the towards increasing the clubs stadium, training facilities and youth facilities. And as I feel the team won't be good enough to stay up next season I only will get players who can help the team in years to come. I don't think we can stay up because the wages I can probably spent won't be sufficient to get in the real top class players.
Up to now I brought in 7 new players including the two I already annouced earlier. I am still looking to bring in an extra midfield player but I am not willing to go deep for it.

With everthing close together we needed to get some run of results going to keep the promotion spot. We started of on the wrong foot. Tranmare holding us to a bore 0-0 draw. And altho we where the better team we got more yellow cards then scoring oppertunities.
Next up where fellow promotion contenders Hull. A kind of do or die game, where a draw would be sufficient for us not to let them surpass us. On the other hand a draw will give the other team room to get close again. We started of good when Chiró N'Toko tabbed home from a trow in. But we couldn't cope with the preasure and on the final whistle Hull managed to equalize.
Agaist leeds we washed away the bitter taste fast scoring twice within 10 minutes. In a game with lots of cards mostly for them, it couldn't end with 22 players on the pitch. And it didn't they got a player dismissed at the hour mark, leaving us no trouble to collect three points.
Next up where three games, of which two at home, against bottem teams. We needed seven points be sure of the promotion. But Sunderland made sure that wasn't going to be as easy as it sounded. They withheld heavy preasure and scored twice on the counter. So the race for promotion was reopened again.
With now two home game to go and a better goaldifference I still had high hopes I could pull it of. Blackburn could hold us of for 30 minutes but then we score three before the break. And to make sure Alassane Plea scored his hattrick goal just after the break.
With score being good around the other fields, we just needed to win the last. And probably a draw would do aswell. But I rather be save then sorry. Chuks Aneke had to come on early as subtitude and proved me wrng not to play him in the first eleven by heading home with his first touch of the game. We missed a lot of chances to secure the game early, and got a scre just before the end when the hitted the post on a long shot, but we held on to win the game and promotion.
I want to put some special attention towards Chiró N'Toko wo has been with us for the whole run from the Blue Square Bet South till promotion to the Premier League as a starting player.
Well I have no clue what I have to do in the Premier League. To have any kind of chance I would need a whole new defencive line, two wingers and a geat midfielder. I don't think I will get the budgets to get all these. But we will give it a shot and see how far we can go in the top flight. I will not invest big as I think we are most likely to drop out fast. I just want to use the cash to build the club. Bigger stadium, better training and youth training.

A very important month this was, with games against a number of direct rivals for the promotion spots. Playing aginst Derby (1st); West Ham (7th) and Fulham (5th).
The month started of against Derby County, if we wanted to mount a serious title challance this is a must win game. It turned out to be a real battle with no less then 9 yellow cards. Derby took the lead when a deflected shot fell good for them. There was no room for any good football due to the number of fouls, and it was also no surprice that our goal came from a spotkick. Daniel Schröer converting it. But a draw didn't see us moving in on Derby so the title challange is off.
Our bad run continued against Wimbledon. Eventho we created 4 times as much shot on goal and 6 times as much shot on target we still fell behinde on the hour. A late push and a lucky goal saved us a point. But we are now on a 4 game run without a win.
West Ham are also contending for play-off/promotion spots, so we have an other big game at hand. We took an first halve lead by heading home from a corner. But our football isn't as confident as it use to be, the passing and movement is just not there at the moment. And when your on a bad run you also have bad luck. West Ham came on level terms scoring a total fluke goal. And thus our run with out wins was extended to 5. Luckily the teams around us aren't stringing good results either so we still remain in contention for the 2nd place spot. But we also still could drop out of the play-off spot.
Bristol City at home is now a must win game. Fist of all because they are at the low end of the league and second because we need to break of the run without victories. We played poorly troughout the match but Daniel Schröer managed to net the winner just under the 70th minute. So unhappy with the play but we got the win we needed so badly.
Last match of the month against Fulham, they are direct opposition for the 2nd place spot, so we need to get some sort of result. Fulham took the lead, but Stéphane Madeira equalized quickly after heading home a corner. After that we where on top for a long period, until Stéphane Madeira decided to make a horror tackle and justly got send off. While struggling to hold on the the point an late counter brought us the undeserved winner when Colin Gordon tapped home the loose ball after a stopped shot.
So at the end of the month we now hold the promotion spot again, but we still need to be carefull not to let it slip away again.

Only three matches this month. We started of with a good win over Burnley 1-4, Diogo Rosado scoring two good goals in the first halve. Olny thing I could hold against my team is conceding a goal.
The next match I don't know how I lost it. I'll just post the stats.
The team still upset about the previous loss, just didn't have the right attitude the match against Crystal Palace. We lost 0-2 and where hopeless.
We are on real bad spell at the moment. losing 4 out of the last 5 games. We realy need to get back to our best because things are thighting in the league. We somehow still hold the second place but the predators are getting real close now.

The new year started off with a win against Charlton. Shane Duffy heading home from a corner to claim us the victory in a poor match.
With 300 games under the belt, we again had to settle for a poor victory. Like previous match, only this time Chiró N'Toko netted after a corner.
FA-cup against Middlesborough we where litterly kick out. After taking the lead the managed to injure 4 players and against 10 men score twice to claim victory. I realy felt robbed as before the kicked our players out we where clearly the better squad.
Nottingham had looked closely at how middlesborough beat us and before the 30 minute mark I again had two injuries. But that was no reason to conceed two soft goals as we did. A late rally to get back into the game was started to late.
Dispite not knowing what level we are playing next year I decided to sign two players already on free transfer as I feel thay are hot prospects.

Not of the best of month for us. We started of with a good win over Peterborough, score two goals before the first halve hour and netting a third after the break.
Blackburn wasn't better then us, but more efficient. Conceding both before and after the break before getting on the scoresheet ourself gave them enough confidence to see the game through. Altho we almost made the equalizer on the whistle.
Bounced back with two good wins against Millwall and Chesterfield. In both matches scoring twice which provd enough to bring home the points.
Against Cardiff it turned out to a bore draw, both team not having enough venom to get into the area's. A 0-0 was the fair result. We where closest of getting a goal hitting the woodwork but it would have been to much.
Now into the two days of maddness. I don't know what went into the head at the FA but planning two matches in two days in a row is just abnormal. Haven't to field only reserves and youth players Sheffield Wednesday was just a bit to strong. With the first team players on the pitch again we managed to scrape off a win against Middlesborough with Daniel Schröer scoring the winner.
Last match of the month was against promotions rivals QPR. We went behinde early, but Chuks Aneke score the equalizer quickly with a nice long distance shot. Both teams tried to make things happen but the legs where to tired.
Derby County is having a storming 2 months surpassing us in the league. But we are still fighting amoung the best. The board insisted that I would chance my season expectations, so now I have to finish top-half. Not that it would be a problem.

First game of the month against Fulham was one to forget asap. We fell behinde early due to an own goal by Chiró N'Toko, heading in from an undangerous position. And before the break they added two more. We got a concolation goal at the end but it was just a plain bad matcht from our side.
Next up where league leaders Hull, and with us in second place this was a big match. Shane Duffy headed home the first and Daniel Schröer added a second quickly after, giving us a comanding position at the break. Hull got a player sent off immidiatly after the break basicly ending there fight back before it had begun.
Against Tranmare we came out firing, scoring two early goals. But they came back in the game after the break and even equalized with 15 minutes to play. But the team kept going and got the reward just before the end Richard Taundry scoring a great team goal.
Struggling Sunderland had just fired there manager before traveling to us. It probably had numbed the team and we steamrolled them. making it 6-0 at the end with a Daniel Schröer hattrick. It even could have been worse for the visitors as we had plenty oppertunities to make it even more.
Last match against Leeds could have gone either way. We conceded a goal from a corner and where chasing them after that. The preasure made them into scoring an own goal with 10 minutes to play. But the game could have gone either way with both teams hitting the woodwork three times.
The good preformance of Shane Duffy and Daniel Schröer brought them Player of the Month and Young Player of the Month.
