Any possibility to get the above logo in larger size? At the very least 300px wide, but the bigger the better (2000px?).

Why do you need such big dimensions?

The logos will be added to the logopack I'm building - I will credit your contribution unless you are against it . Certainly the 2000px size is bigger than the minimum that is needed, but its good to have the logos in large size. If a badge requires minor changes in the future, its easier to work on a big image rather than a small image. Any roughness in the modifications is likely to "disappear" when the image is scaled from 2000px to a significantly smaller size. SI might change their logo size standard as well, though I don't know if such a thing is likely to happen.

Hopefully the large size requirement has not been of extra trouble. Thank you for the work you have done.

Looks like you traced the photo in Adobe Illustrator or similar and simplified the "ring" around it. Its good though - thank you very much.

. Well , it might , but according to the informations i got, they continue the tradition of bankrupt clubs...

Sure, but the question is how SI will interpret it. I don't have any inside information, so at least from my point of view its wait and see.

Making logos with their height as the sole size defining factor is something to contemple. Especially the competition logos are often very wide because of the sponsor names etc. 180 pixels is too small for high resolutions though. Maybe SI will at some point introduce a new "standard" with larger sized normal logos or separate bigger logos. The @2x logos appeared a couple of game versions ago to cater to higher resolutions (I'm surprised that many logopack makers have not included them in their packs).

Here is an example of what things look like at 3840 x 2160 resolution with 175% in-game zoom and default skin that has been modified to show normal logos in larger size on the game's club details screen. 300 x 300px vs 180 x 180px normal logos and @2x logos vs small logos.

I'm not sure what the problem is. Its not necessarily incorrect to use square image files even if SI does not use them. If there is a downside to the square images, I think it is that it forces wide logos to a smaller size than they would have to be (if the skin uses height to scale the logos).

What it comes to empty space around the logos within the images, my opinion is that its good to leave some. At least on my computer, and while using the default skin, "cutting" will happen on some screens without the extra space.

180 pixels is to be logo size, not pictures

If one uses high resolution monitor, 180px is way too small. The logos will be streched beyond their actual size and look awful. Naturally this depends on the skin as well.

This is excellent - thank you WhiteH!

If I understand correctly, WhiteH asks everyone to define the size of the restored logo. If the restored logos are made completely from scratch, there probably is not a set limit on how large the logos can be (within reason). Therefore it would be beneficial to ask the logos in size that is larger than mere 180x180. In any case anything smaller than 300x300 cannot be used in the logopack I'm building.

I don't know if you understand french..... but here is a link to the french wiki side about "Union football club de Pays d'Argentan".... look at the buttom of the page... the way I see it, it clearly states that "FC Argentan" is just a continuation of the old club. But if you have other information thats cool....

Union football club de Pays d'Argentan

I looked into it, and though I understand French only through an online translator, it seems that the current FC Argentan was founded as an amalgamation of Union d'Argentan and Argentan FC, which itself was coinceived only a year prior as a continuation for ASPTT Argentan's football section. This happened between the 2010/2011 and 2011/12 seasons.

http://argentan.asptt.com/le-club-2/histoire/

The game db seems to only have Union d'Argentan as an extinct club - maybe it has been so since after 10/11? In any case if FC Argentan will be in FM17, it is not currently generally known what id the club will have.

I suspect the blurred logos may not have @2x sizes of them. Within the small directory in the pack there is a folder called @2x. Does the @2x folder contain logos for Chin Utd and other clubs with blurred badges? The small and @2x folders should have the same number of png files in them.

Yes, this is my own work! You can click on the link and logo to order restoration!

Like kremmen, I might have quite a few logos for you to work on...

I have been making my own small logopack with the principle of adding only good quality logos into it. Hundreds and hundreds of logos have had to be made from scratch. For example the below VfL 93 Hamburg (ID: 6002417) badge.

it´s not the same, the original has a white border

Its not the same, but which one is more correct?

Spankz linked the logo with white border directly from the official Aston Villa website:
https://d16b4kgyytl7c7.cloudfront.net/~/media/AstonVilla/Club%20Crests/ClubCrestVilla2x_Alt.ashx

Here is the logo with maroon edge from the same Aston Villa site:
https://d16b4kgyytl7c7.cloudfront.net/~/media/AstonVilla/Club%20Crests/ClubCrestVilla2x.ashx

The badge with the white border has "alt" in its file name, which might be an indication that the logo does not represent the intended primary style. In any case the Brands of the World logo is a vector logo, so its colours can be changed easily without losing image quality.

i was looking for ones with the new sponsore they were supposed to be talking to (Movistar i think), but it looks like they are going the EPL route now.

Maybe I'm being pedantic, but I think its odd how the LaLiga and LaLiga2 logos are essentially identical apart from the text, but their colours are slightly off when compared against each other. Surely it cannot be by design.

Castelfidardo correct logo (43106520)
http://www.castelfidardocalcio.it/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Castello-logo.png

Here is a Castelfidardo logo reproduction I made for the DVX pack a while ago.
http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg300/duccio_fm/graphics/43106520_uefa_ita___castelfidardo---17v1.png~original

Edit: Apparently Photobucket has become crap while I wasn't looking. I uploaded the above logo in larger size, but as far as I can see 1024px is the biggest it can be. So much for some grand computer desktop wallpapers I have been hosting there (on another account). FM screenshots as well...

to be honest i dont know if there proper segunda logos or not just found them on pr0s update thread thought id throw in here to see if there better than ones already in the pack

Ok. Considering the scarcity of info on the net, it seems that A2B may not have a lot of wind under its wings. Some result/news websites use the logo though.

could you do the segunda b division logos for spain

Are you suggesting these logos to replace the ones in the Metallic pack?

I have been searching for proper officialy logos for the Segunda B divisions without being able to find such. The logos you posted seem to be good contenders, but some uncertainties remain. I found a small presentation on Asociación Fútbol Profesional 2ªB aka A2B (it has the same logo: pdf). The presentation is dated 2010, and I suppose the important question is whether A2B currently exists - the association website mentioned in the presentation is dead, but one can view (parts of) it on archive.org. Do you or others here have knowlege about A2B and if it is still active/relevant?

In the meanwhile, here is the logo in better quality (without the group indicators):

Laziness breeds efficiency!

I deemed changes to countries being rare enough to not warrant a separate config for the special cases, but I have the extra lines saved in a file so they can be easily found and pasted to their place if needed.

Corrected colour-scheme (black for blue):

Can the colour-scheme be "corrected" though? It seems that the logo originates from someone testing out rebranding D.C. United and intentionally using blue instead of black.

The only reason I can think of for having a second folder and config is if one intends to use FM Graphics Configurator or other similar config creator in the original folder (the manual modifications would be overwritten). Naturally one could also place the second config outside of the original folder (and reflect this in the file path within the new lines), in which case no second folder or duplicate logos would be needed.

Otherwise adding the new lines into the original config - while not changing anything else (ie retaining all the ”nation” lines that handle the logos) - is the more straightforward way to stop the Netherlands and Gibraltar logos from swapping between different versions.
