for the new players fm24 megapack, do I place it inside “faces” or its own folder inside “graphics”?

Go to Preferences->Saving->Location

Choose which folder/location you want FM to start saving to. It will only take effect after you restart your game. Be mindful of any old files in the default location that may take up a lot of space.
