#197643 Your plans for FM15
I had Leyton Orient in FM14 and had a good run (I've even restarted with a summer transfer update). It also made it fun to see a match there when I visited London (from the US) in March. So I wanted to pick a team in a place I would like to visit in the future and possibly see a match.
I decided to go a league down and pick a team that wasn't highly favored for promotion but not a total train wreck either. I actually don't know anything about them but figured with the obvious US-UK connection (including the Mayflower on their logo) it is somewhere I want to visit the next time I'm in the UK. I also like UK naval history so I have spent some time in Portsmouth and I would like to go to Exeter someday due to the Roman connection (also an interest of mine). But with Portsmouth a near lock to go up and Exeter a near lock to get relegated, it looks like Plymouth will be my choice.

#114306 Leyton Orient or Dag and Red?
After some great feedback here and on the official forums, I settled on Leyton Orient. Brentford was also in the running but since I used them in FM13, I chose the "Os".
Since I plan to wait until the ME is patched now and have more time before making the final decision, I was also was thinking of Dag and Red as an L2 option. I passed on Wimbledon just to be different
Does anyone play as either team and, if so, can you give me the pros and cons of the team you play as? And, even if you don't play as either, what do you think of those two teams for an FM save?
Thanks, guys.

I'll second the comments on youtube and request a budget video for Championship and League One when you get a chance.
#111916 Suggestion for a League One/League Two team near London?
I think I am going to give them a go. I know some don't like them because they don't have a compelling history but since I can't watch anything but highlights of L1 games, all the teams are pretty much the same. I will try them for a few seasons and if they are too easy, I may try to go lower. I like being in L1 because you can still get free agents and staff to come to your team and you have a transfer budget (even if it is only 50K or so). Thanks for the suggestions!
#106636 Suggestion for a League One/League Two team near London?
I want to play in the English leagues and I know the consensus is the best challenge is to take a lower league team and try to get them to the premiership.
I currently play with Brentford but I chose them randomly and knowing next to nothing about those leagues (I am in the US and we only get EPL game on TV), I'd like to see if there are others you'd recommend playing with. All I ask is that they be in London or somewhere that is close via train (maybe an hour or less away).
The reason is that I will be in London in March-April of next year and would actually like to go see the team that I play with in football manager.
So if possible, I would love a suggestion on a team to play with that is fun in game (good team, decent budget, etc) and one that would be worth seeing in real life as well (maybe has a good stadium, in an interesting area, has a good fanbase, etc) and why you think so. And, if you think that Brentford is the best choice, that would be fine too.
Thanks in advance.
