Yes, game switches to basic colour look for both 2d and 3d kits if you edit kit colours. You need to thick back the option to see licenced kits when you're done editing.
So what exactly is the problem, you don't see color changes in 3d match? Which league is it? If there are textured kits in that league, with badges and sponsors, you can't edit those colours with in game editor. Only back number colour.

Hello - I wonder if I could ask some advice please?

I'm well used to making my own SS kits and placing them in game without a hitch.
What I can never seem to do is get the kit in match to change.

I can edit in the pre-game editor fine, I can change them in FMRTE and in game editor but changes will only ever show in the match if I untick 'allow licensed kits' in the in game editor. That would be fine but when I do that the SS kit for the team disappears. I might add only for that particular team no others.

I've checked various forums and I can see it is something other people have experienced but I've not yet found a solution.
Any help gratefully received. Thanks.

Perhaps if you explain exactly how are you placing 3D kits in game we could see what are you missing.

In addition, this kit appears in the Kit pack, but does not work in the game for some reason:

Thanks for any help to adding these kits to the game.

East Thurrock is missing a "shirt" in kits&colours section of the editor in latest 19.3. official update. To see the home kit, add shirt in editor before new game.

All other kits you mentioned are basicaly last seasons away kits that were declared as third kits for this season. They're often never used and are here just for reserve, in case some heavy colour clash comes in cup matches.
To put them in pack, I require a proof that they were actually used, a game pictures, or at least their existence in club's web shop. Please provide links to game galleries or web shops where I can see particular kit in details.

Hi Bolid - Any more NE3D packs happening in your busy life? Loving them and the flexibility they give me in the game :-)

I converted to NE most of the kits that I made. Now new NE templates require more work because sometimes I have to make new socks or shorts or shirts.
So new NE templates will be added regularly, however at a slower pace.

If you have a particular shirt or kit manufacturer in mind, let me know, I'll consider it

But it would be possible for me to use the lines in your template to add my own lines via pen tool. For example if the shirt I am to make is black and orange, which is not pre made. But your templates are a good template to work from 😁

To do that, you can use my regular kits. Many of lower leagues kits are made on templates that I created for my personal use and usually contain a dozen kits of same manufacturers. Layers with details, lines, colour effects are all separated so you have greater freedom to edit and change stuff.

Only one question. I see that the design is set to the main color of the kits. Is there a way to devide these up? Cause some of the kits we make have different color combinations than the kits inside the pack.
But I must say I'm pretty impressed by your work 😁😁

The idea behind NE templates is to make premade kits, not editable templates. What you're asking is possible in different type of template, let's call it "regular" kits that I make. You can download my league kits in this very topic and you'll find many kits that are included in NE pack but with unlocked detail/colours layers and you can colorize in any way you want.

The reality is that you can't have a template that is easy to use and in the same time has a lot of options. Options increase number of layers and overall complexity. For example, seem lines and mesh effects are not the same on white or dark kits so if you change colours yourself, you also have to fine tune such details. If I made layers unmerged to allow free colorization, the number of layers would increase by at least 4 times, and you'd also have to edit other details to match change of colour.

So NE templates are basicaly premade teamwear kits, a wide range of cheap kits that many teams use (30% in 1st Croatian league, for example).

Hi @bolid74 , if you have time, could you make tutorial how to make this nike fast fit vapor kits? Especially with all the sleeves detail on Tottenham's kit (and other nike fast fit kits)
I tried it with the template you've made but I couldn't make the exact sleeves detail...

Making tutorials takes a lot of time that I'd rather spend on doing something else, and besides, I'm old school graphical artist that uses outdated Paint Shop Pro that nobody uses anymore so a tutorial on that would be useless to most people. But I hear and understand people who find kit making quite complicated and that's why I'm developing new kind of 3D templates that require no editing (apart placing badges and sponsors, obviously). Link is in my signature, you're all welcome to try it out. All you have to do is pick 3 layers with shirt, shorts and socks of desirable colour, and hide all other layers. Currently there are 70 kits in the pack, and many more will be added.
I'll soon add Nike vapor kits to this pack, since Nike included vapor kits to teamwear collection in 19/20.

Yeh i've downloaded your level 9 2d and 3d packs successfully sorry, just don't know how to add the Whitchurch 3D kits and Whitchurch away 2D with sponsor to the game after watching a you tube vid on how to do so. sorry i'm not very technical when it comes to computers lol

It's a bit tricky if you're not technical with computers, perhaps you should wait until I include Whitchurch in my packs in a day or two.

I checked the editor and Whitchurch originaly doesn't have assinged away shirt. You should use the fmf file that is provided in my pack to see away kit.
Unpack it to your Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2019\editor data
When you start new career, in database options check to be active file named ENG_kits_colours

Without it you won't see half kits in lower leagues. If you start new career like this, getting Whitchurch when I update the packs will be just a matter of unpacking files to proper folders

I'm not that technical when it comes to computer speak but I need help installing 1 level 9 team 2d kits and 3d kits into the game, I have all the latest packs downloaded however I specially requested one guy to make me the Whitchurch Alport 2d and 3d kits which he has done brilliantly, I just now need help putting them into the game. thanks

It's an editor file that fixes wrong team colours and add/removes 3rd kits where they should or should not be. For levels 1-6 it doesn't really matter because kits and colours are mostly fine, but in levels 7 and below it's a must have.

It's the same thing as SSKCC file, only SSKCC covers wide range of leagues, and fmf file in the pack is only relevant for teams in the pack.

You use it by placing it in documents/sports interactive/fm19/editor data folder (create it if there's none). When starting new career, you'll see it in initial options, check it to be active.
