I cannot understand why FM franchise players have a dilemma as to which team they are going to choose. Some even go to extraordinary lengths to start a story asking for readers to tell them who they should be. Some even make Youtube videos asking the same. I have never had that kind of problem as I always have an idea of what I intend on doing usually just before beta is released. Usually I choose a Man Utd save as I'm a United fan. It gives me the opportunity of learning the games new features with players I have prior knowledge on. Sooner or later that save will never last past a transfer window, and then I'm off over to Sortitouts or FM Base. There I will be trying to find a wonderful human being who has gone to the trouble of loading lower leagues to the database for others to use.

I don't know why I'm more attracted to playing Non League but I seem to find a greater realism. How many Managers do you know have as their first job in football as Barcelons, United or Bayern? Some of us do this and will even enter the editor to give them even more money so that they can buy all the greatest players. Why? Whats the point? No my friends give me a little team that I can cut my teeth on and from there lets see how good I really am.

When choosing a Non League side I always go for a team with an attractive sounding name. This year it was Albion Sports with their cool golden badge or Fleet Spurs.with their even cooler crest. So I simply loaded up Manager Profile and went unemployed to try to get an interview with either of these teams. Unfortunately after three attempts I realized that the database I was using was error prone as although I applied for these jobs, I never received an answer back.

So here I go again, starting a fresh game but this time I choose Fleet Spurs right from the start. I decided on them because they do not even have a stadium of their own and they struck me as a typical Sunday league team who "done good" getting to Wessex League level. Albion Sports however where not too disimilar but boasted a 3,000 capacity stadium. My hope will be to use Fleet as a stepping stone and become Albion Manager. Their resources will be better suited to higher Non League levels of the Ryman or Northern leagues.

Before I knew what featured in FM14, my intentions was taking over United and clearing out all the players in real life i think should be cleared out. I always begin in the Non Leagues and always make it to League 2 level around late September. Then another FM is released and its back again to the Non leagues. However thank those guys over at SI, for now we have been given a "INSTANT RESULT" button that will save a hell of a lot of time getting through the divisions. I intend to use that button for all league games but play through all cup games. It will mean losing games that if I had played I could of drawn or won but I'm willing to give it a go. All cup games will be uploaded to Youtube for posterity whilst uploading a diary of my career by video.

So thanks to Wiki here is a run down on the club I will cut my managerial teeth on.

Fleet Spurs F.C. are a football club based in Fleet, England. They play in the Wessex League Division One. The club is affiliated to theHampshire Football Association and is a FA Charter Standard Development club.[1]

History
http://www.sportsscenedirect.com/ekmps/shops/sportsscene/images/fleet-spurs-youth-88-c[ekm]120x120[ekm].jpg
Fleet Spurs were established in 1948, originally playing friendlies. In 1951 the club then joined the Aldershot & District Football League, where they remained until the end of the 1964–65 season For the 1965–66 season the club joined the Surrey Premier League and becoming League A Champions in the 1968–69 season. The club though returned to the Aldershot & District Football League from the 1971–72 season.

They joined Division three of the Hampshire League in 1991 after becoming dual Aldershot Senior League Champions and Peter Benyon Cup Winners the season before In their first season in the Hampshire league they immediately gained promotion to Division two. Six seasons later in the 1997–98 they gained further promotion as they climbed to Division one as Division Two champions. The club stayed in the top flight of the Hampshire league though for just two seasons as when the league was re-organised they were placed in the newly formed Division One, just below the Premier Division. The club then stayed in Division one until the end of the 2003–04 season, when the Wessex League merged with the Hampshire League and Fleet Spurs were placed in the newly formed Division Three of the Wessex league.

At the end of the 2006–07 season Division three was renamed division two and the club was promoted to Division one as Division two was disbanded. Since then the club has remained as a member of the Wessex League Division One.

In the 2010–11 season the Club made its debut in its first FA national competition when they entered the FA Vase for the first time. A season later the club made their debut in the FA Cup getting knocked out by fellow debutants Shrewton United.

The non-league football club have been forced to change their badge design after Tottenham Hotspur complained that it was too similar to theirs.

Lawyers for the Premier League side wrote to Fleet Spurs, from Hampshire, telling them to drop their crest.

The Wessex League Division One club said it was "heavy-handed" and changing their badge would cost them between £3,000 to £4,000.

Tottenham said they had to protect the club's identity.

Fleet Spurs were set up in 1948 in homage to the north London side by people returning from World War Two, although there are no official links between the clubs.

The Hampshire team have always incorporated a cockerel into their badge, in tribute to Tottenham, and said their current design was introduced after a fans' competition.

'Felt really intimidated'

The club admitted the winning fan probably based their entry on Tottenham's design but said they were disappointed at the way the matter had been handled.

Tottenham, who originally contacted the club in the summer but failed to resolve the matter amicably, have allowed them to keep the design on their kit until it is next replaced.

Bryan Sheppard, chairman of Fleet Spurs, said: "We haven't got a penny to our name, we couldn't afford to fight it.

"It's been quite stressful, we just felt really intimidated by the heavy-handed approach.

"But I can see where they are coming from."

The club said they were changing their website and have been allowed until Christmas to remove the crest from their ground, moves they said would cost money.

Mr Sheppard said there would be another fans' competition to design a new logo but club officials would study the winning entry carefully.

A spokesman for Tottenham Hotspur said: "If we do not take action to stop Fleet Spurs using our cockerel logo, it can undermine our ability to stop other unauthorised people who use our logo for commercial purposes, such as counterfeiters.

"We are very conscious that Fleet Spurs is a grass-roots club. For this reason we have been very careful not to ask them to do anything that might incur costs.

"It was always the club's approach to deal with this matter amicably and with a large dose of common sense."

SO IT BEGINS....

Having had previous knowledge of Lower League football on FM I waste little time in finding kids who have good physical skills and determination attributes. Most can be picked up on free transfers and all you need to keep them happy is around £15-35 per week. There are some 16yr olds who you can pick up for only £5.

MATCH ONE

US Portsmouth's draw with Fleet Spurs on a fine evening at Fleet Spurs Stadium saw US Portsmouth feature a number of debutants in the starting line-up.

Young striker George Brindley gave United Services Portsmouth the lead with a fine header from point-blank range in the 11th minute. Young striker Ross Cowlishaw then saw a penalty smack the bar on the 37 minute mark.

He was able to make amends for his miss however by knocking in the rebound. Young striker False Comins pulled one back for Fleet Spurs F.C after 66 minutes with a poorly struck effort.

With time rapidly running out, young winger False Hearn bought from Enfield Town, then scored a well timed close range finish to equalise for Fleet Spurs F.C. Better late than never for Fleet Spurs F.C and the fans were clearly delighted with False Hearn's impact.

FA CUP 1ST RND PRELIM

St. Austell's defeat against Fleet Spurs on a fine afternoon at Fleet Spurs Stadium saw St. Austell feature a number of debutants in the starting line-up.

When Steward gave away a penalty, 6ft Mitchell confidently stepped up to score from the spot. Young winger Ricci Hooper then equalised for St. Austell in the 34th minute with a tidy finish from 14 metres.

It was a superb solo effort and Hooper looked delighted. Young striker Deep A Cunnington then put Fleet Spurs F.C in front after 36 minutes with a nice effort from 16 metres.

Deep A Cunnington added his 2nd goal of the game with a good header from just inside the six-yard box on 40 minutes. Striker WM Stacey then added to the lead with a weak effort on 60 minutes.

When Warburton gave away another penalty, Deep A Cunnington duly did the rest from twelve yards. Things went from bad to worse for St. Austell as young midfielder Mike Warburton earned himself an early bath for a bad tackle on 77 minutes.

An error from Fleet Spurs F.C's Eganche Moss allowed young centre-back Callum Steward to score a tame effort.

WESSEX LEAGUE CUP 1ST ROUND

East Cowes Victoria Athletic succumbed to a 2-0 loss in this afternoon's Wessex League Cup First Round clash at Fleet Spurs Stadium.

Full-back Gareth Hemsley showed a sign of things to come though as he nearly gifted Fleet Spurs F.C a goal on 24 minutes. Young goalkeeper Craig Quinlan's red card for handball on 25 minutes put Fleet Spurs F.C's position under question.

Young midfielder Ballwin Hill gave Fleet Spurs F.C the lead with a tidy finish from 15 metres in the 51st minute. Winger David Stroud completed the scoring for Fleet Spurs F.C with a close range finish which was timed impeccably on 74 minutes.

Away to Heaton Stannington in the FA Vase 1st round Qualifier will prove very difficult as they have yet to lose or draw and are 2nd in the Northern League Division 2

Club History

Heaton Stannington AFC Club
Grounsell Park
Newton Road
Newcastle upon Tyne
Northumberland FA Aff.No.1173

Records identify that the club was affiliated to Northumberland FA in 1910. It is understood that the Club name came about as the result of the amalgamation of two Heaton football teams one of which originated from the Stannington Grove, or Stannington Avenue area of Heaton. Hence the name Heaton Stannington

In 1934 the team moved to the present location, which had formally been a quarry. The quarry land had been conveyed to the ownership of club trustees and North Heaton Development Co Limited. The conveyance was part of the will of Lord Armstrong.

In 1948 the ground was then in Conveyance from North Heaton Development Co. Ltd to Frank Maddison, Charles Henry Proud Reay, Sidney William Hunter and Glen Paterson. The cost of the ground at this time was £2000. The trustees therefore applied for and obtained a mortgage from the Football Association Ltd. In the sum of £1300. It was at this time that the North Heaton Development Co. Ltd introduced a Covenant as part of the Conveyance process.

In 1955 subsequent to the death of Frank Maddison, The Football Association Ltd. and John Snowdon where installed as Trustees.

In 1968 the Trustees formed Heaton Stannington Sports Club Limited and the following Year 1969 the ground was conveyed to the new company. At the same time the company was released from the restrictive covenant, which prohibited them from selling alcohol on the premises. Although the football team was functioning at that time they had to rent the ground from the Limited Company in the sum of £400. As the former Trustees, now directors of the newly formed limited company began to have less involvement with the club they became less inclined to assist in the general running of the club. The football team progressed to the Wearside League despite the financial burden of having to pay rent to play at our own ground. This was in addition to paying rates and utility bills. The situation worsened when the Company increase our annual rental to £1500 in 1982. The additional financial burden forced the team to resign from the Wearside League.

The situation got worse when a development company Ladylaw Holdings placed a planning application with Newcastle City Council to build a supermarket on the ground. The football club gave notice to the Company that it would oppose the application. Upon which the Company gave the team 3months notice to quit the ground. There was a great deal of objection to the proposal from the residents around the ground. With their support the application was dismissed by the Council despite it going to the Minister for the Environment on appeal. As a consequence of this the football club decided to challenge the ownership of the ground. In 1983 The High Court decided that the ground belonged to the football club and the Limited Company had to relinquish ownership. The club is now registered as an amateur sports club facility with a constitution, which prohibits any individuals from benefiting from its sale.

During its time the Club have competed in various leagues most notably the Northern League, the Northern Alliance League and the North Eastern League. During the mid 1980’s they did operate for a period of time in the Wearside League.

Throughout its time the club has regularly supported football in the area by playing host to various League’s cup finals and representative matches. It has also assisted a neighbouring school to participate in a National competition by allowing the use of the ground.

In the past the club have supported reserve teams, junior teams and more recently ladies football. Currently the club operates a senior side and an over forties team.

As with many teams the clubs fortunes have seen highs and lows both on the field and off it. Successes have been seen over the years particularly in a variety of Cup Competions.

I had to dispense with my my three winger system and use one of my wingers (Garner) as a Advanced Playmaker in the center. With my two fit strikers Cunnington and Carey who both are unable to drop into a midfield role.
Heaton Stannington 2 Fleet Spurs 3

We had luck on our side as we played out an entertaining English FA Vase First Qualifying Round fixture against Heaton Stannington FC.

Winger Stacey our best player on the day got Fleet Spurs F.C off to a flyer by scoring a tidy finish from 11 metres on 4 minutes. Young striker Jess Hyam then equalised for Heaton Stannington FC in the 40th minute with a nice effort from 14 metres.

Young striker False Comins then put Fleet Spurs F.C in front after 76 minutes whilst on as sub with an effort from range. Wing Garner scored with a real poacher's effort from 13 metres in the 91st minute to extend the lead further.

Hyam put Heaton Stannington FC back in with a shout on 93 minutes with a close range finish which was timed impeccably but it was too little, too late.

We knew they were the better side so we relied on our quality finishing and made ourselves hard to beat by being rigid and composed.

Our only defensive midfielder Greg BALLWIN Hill has decided to leave us and join Witheridge. So we will be hoping to get some kind of replacement to keep our attacking midfield in some kind of balance.

STRANGE DEFEAT
East Cowes Victoria Athletic, who curiously included an unusually high number of left-footed players in their team, came out on top against us on a fine evening at Fleet Spurs Stadium.

Striker Sean Hodgkinson got East Cowes Victoria Athletic off to a flyer by scoring a deftly executed finish from long range on 3 minutes. It was a superb solo effort and Hodgkinson looked delighted. Fleet Spurs F.C's equaliser came through T or E Chudy as he seized on Lloyd Steele's mistake to score a powerful penalty. Midfielder Lyndon Weller then put Fleet Spurs F.C in front after 43 minutes with a fluke goal.

Young midfielder Gary Raymond then equalised for East Cowes Victoria Athletic in the 82nd minute with a nice effort from 12 metres. Hodgkinson clinched the winner on 93 minutes with a well timed finish from close range after we decided to go on the attack to win the game. The makers of FM have provided updated graphics so you can now see the ball clearly and better looking graphics and tweaks. Unfortunately they have taken away the instant result button which now means I will have to go on holiday to speed through the games.

FA CUP FEVER

Ilfracombe Town succumbed to a 3-1 (won after extra time) loss in this afternoon's English FA Cup Second Preliminary Round clash at Fleet Spurs Stadium.

Centre-back William Jackson gave Ilfracombe Town the lead with a close range header in the 65th minute. Young midfielder Wing Fletcher then equalised for us in the 82nd minute with a nice effort from 14 metres.

Young midfielder WM Wood then put Fleet Spurs F.C in front after 98 minutes with an incisive finish from 16 metres. Young striker False Hearn finally rounded off their victory on 101 minutes with an accurate finish. We played the match flicking between a defensive and counter stance and realised as the game went on that our only way of keeping them off us was to go on the attack and once back in the game to then control it. Due to a fitness concern we had to play our fittest who could only be formed into a 433 formation. Once we changed it back at 0-1 down the team played much better.

KIDD WIELDS THE AXE

GOOD AWAY WIN UP TO 3RD

We had our midfield to thank on a mild summer's evening at Fawcetts Field as they showed their strikers how to finish.

Midfielder WM Stacey gave us the lead with a placed shot from close range in the 23rd minute. WM Stacey added his 2nd goal of the game with a powerful effort on 30 minutes.

WM Stacey added his 3rd goal of the game with a 24 metre free kick on 37 minutes. Things went from bad to worse for New Milton Town as midfielder Kwame Costello earned himself an early bath for a vicious foul on 51 minutes.

Full-back Shane Franklin pulled one back for New Milton Town after 76 minutes with a simple finish from close in.

TWO GOAL COLLAPSE

After appearing to just have the edge in this hard-fought battle, my players and fans will be very disappointed to have lost 3-2 to a Stockbridge team they consider to be their equal. A brace from Brian Wheeler helped Stockbridge to victory.

Young striker False Hearn got Fleet Spurs F.C off to a flyer by scoring a well timed finish from close range on 9 minutes. Midfielder David Stroud doubled Fleet Spurs F.C's lead with a tidy finish from 14 metres on 31 minutes.

Young striker Brian Wheeler pulled one back for Stockbridge after 42 minutes with a tame effort. Fleet Spurs captain (c)Lefty Mehew suffered the ignominy of scoring a calamitous own goal in the 66th minute.

Wheeler scored what proved to be the winner on 79 minutes with an effort which hit the inside of the post before crossing the line. It was a superb solo effort and Wheeler looked delighted.

EASY AWAY WIN

One of the league's worst defences so far this season were not able to stop us doing what we wanted.

Young striker False Comins gave Fleet Spurs F.C the lead with an effort from range in the 52nd minute. It was a superb solo effort and False Comins looked delighted. Midfielder Tinyskill Coombes doubled Fleet Spurs F.C's lead with a deftly executed finish on 71 minutes.

Deep A Cunnington scored with a real poacher's effort from 13 metres in the 74th minute to extend the lead further. Deep A Cunnington completed the rout on 81 minutes with a fierce shot.

FA CUP RUN IS IT OVER?

Youth was no match for experience on a fine afternoon at Fleet Spurs Stadium as my young Fleet Spurs team succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of a much more experienced Kendal side.

Striker Jordan Connerton gave Kendal Town the lead with a close range finish which was timed impeccably in the 44th minute. Young striker False Hearn then equalised for Fleet Spurs F.C in the 45th minute with a good header from just inside the six-yard box.

Midfielder Niall Cowperthwaite then put Kendal Town in front after 48 minutes with a simple finish from close in. Young striker Danny McGahon finally rounded off their victory on 80 minutes with a real poacher's effort from 13 metres. We had as many chances as they did and with a bit of luck in front of goal we could of snatched a draw. However Kendall are 5th in the Northern league division 1 for a reason.

LATE WIN

In-form Andover New Street suffered a surprising 1-0 defeat against us on a fine summer's evening at Foxcotte Park.

With the game nearing an end, it was False Comins who scored a well timed close range finish to give Fleet Spurs F.C the lead on 88 minutes. False Comins' impact delighted the fans with his late goal.

Both teams had a number of attempts at goal, which promised much, but the quality of finishing was poor throughout. This result puts us up to third place in the table.

A potentially serious injury suffered by Mole Valley's Shane Joryeff overshadowed events on what was a fine afternoon at Fleet Spurs Stadium.

Young midfielder Tinyfit Rivers got us off to a flyer by scoring a close range finish which was timed impeccably after just one minute. Young striker False Hearn doubled Fleet Spurs F.C's lead with a mighty header from within the six-yard box on 29 minutes.

Mole Valley SCR were nearly gifted a goal on 35 minutes through Bevis Gardner's lapse in concentration but they failed to capitalise on the opportunity presented to them. The last goal of the game came from young centre-back Richie Morley whose 77th minute own-goal will undoubtedly cause him some embarrassment. It caused us a late wobble but thanks to our keeper Richardson we held on. We were excellent in the first half but passed poorly all game. This was a lucky escape for us.

An efficient performance from us saw our lads run out 2-0 winners over Petersfield Town at Fleet Spurs Stadium.

Petersfield Town's Adamson was forced off by injury in the 53rd minute. Fleet Spurs F.C finally took the lead when midfielder David Stroud scored a real poacher's effort from 10 metres on 55 minutes.

Young striker Deep A Cunnington completed the scoring for Fleet Spurs F.C with a weak effort on 69 minutes. Petersfield Town's Pearce was forced off by injury in the 90th minute.

GOAL CRAZY

Both teams served up a game to remember as Hythe & Dibden came out on top in this 6-5 goal-fest.

One pundit commented that this match should be taped and shown to any doubters of the beautiful game.

Striker Ryan Ahmed got Hythe & Dibden off to a flyer by scoring a tame effort from close to goal on 5 minutes. An error from Fleet Spurs F.C's CB Lefty Leather allowed young striker Anthony Bubb to score a real poacher's effort from 13 metres. Ahmed added his 2nd goal of the game with an accurate finish on 12 minutes.

Ahmed added his 3rd goal of the game with a placed shot from long range on 27 minutes. Young striker Deep A Cunnington pulled one back for Fleet Spurs F.C after 34 minutes with a fine header from point-blank range.

Ahmed added his 4th goal of the game with an accurate finish on 58 minutes. An error from Fleet Spurs F.C's Barry Richardson allowed Ahmed to score a tame effort. Midfielder WM Stacey pulled one back for Fleet Spurs F.C after 72 minutes with a tidy finish from 14 metres.

It was a superb solo effort and WM Stacey looked delighted. Deep A Cunnington reduced Fleet Spurs F.C's deficit on 83 minutes with a deftly executed finish but it was merely consolation.

An error from Hythe & Dibden's Ali Tanner allowed WM Stacey to score a tame effort from close to goal. WM Stacey put Fleet Spurs F.C back in with a shout on 93 minutes with a simple finish from close in but it was too little, too late.

It was a superb solo effort and WM Stacey looked delighted. I was delighted how dangerous we were going forward but with defending like that we will easily drop out of the top positions and into a mid table finish. Our keeper Richardson went back to old habits with a poor performance. Leather and Fletcher also had nightmares and will be warned. The Winterbourne boss was spotted in the croud apparently scouting Leather. on this performance they can have him.

One of the league's best defences was surprisingly undone as Tadley lost to our boys on a fine afternoon at Tadley Stadium.

Young midfielder Tinyfit Rivers gave Fleet Spurs F.C the lead with a real poacher's effort from 10 metres in the 15th minute. Young striker Kieran Melia then equalised for Tadley Calleva in the 58th minute with an effort from range.

Young striker False Hearn scored what proved to be the winner on 78 minutes with a fine header from point-blank range. It was a great win to bounce back from the previous freak performance.

WESSEX LEAGUE CUP

We unluckily got knocked out on penalities after Hearn saw his first half shot cannon off the post and then Commis shootout penalty strike the post in our Wessex League Cup Second Round game.

Newport (IOW) captain Robert Batey gave Newport (Isle of Wight) the lead with a nice effort from 16 metres in the 29th minute. Young striker False Hearn equalised for Fleet Spurs F.C after 41 minutes with a nice effort from 14 metres.

In the shootout that followed it was left to centre-back Mohammed Ogaga to keep a cool head and smash home the winning penalty for Newport (Isle of Wight).

NEW BLOOD

Burrows Petettifer McCormack Scully and Boon are all 16 year olds signed on youth contracts to give us a bit of squad depth and fresh impetus as I will start to cull poor performers. This will freshen us up

.

A potentially serious injury suffered by Fleet Spurs' Box Morgan overshadowed events for us on what was a fine afternoon at St. Blazey Stadium.

Winger David Stroud gave us the lead with a poorly struck effort in the 22nd minute. Fleet Spurs captain (c)Lefty Mehew completed the scoring for Fleet Spurs F.C with a well timed finish from close range on 62 minutes. We played a team containing at least 6 players who are struggling with form including scorer Stroud himself. So this is an amazing win for us.

Bad news for Box Morgan as he fractured his ribs and will be out for 3 months. We have a shortage of central midfielders so this is a huge blow. I will try to see if anyone wants to come to us on loan to cover.

A breezy afternoon at Coles Park saw Haringey & Waltham Development come out on top against my surprisingly lacklustre Fleet Spurs F.C side.

Fleet Spurs captain (c)Lefty Mehew gave Fleet Spurs F.C the lead with a header in the 20th minute. Forward Joey Garner then equalised for Haringey & Waltham Development in the 28th minute with a deftly executed finish.

It was a superb solo effort and Garner looked delighted. Haringey & Waltham Development's winner came through Kodi Greenwood as he seized on Lyndon Weller's mistake to score a good header from just inside the six-yard box. I played a couple of the new lads but could not put my finger on why we seemed so down. It must be my team talks lacking in the correct motivation. Our cup quest is over for the season so now we concentrate on the league which we currently top. I will be satisfied with a playoff spot in the top 6.

I am seriously disappointed with our inconsistency and yet when I gaze at the table I find we are joint top in 3rd place on goal difference. Fast forward to our last 7 games puts us in line for a shot at the title. The kind of form we are in would see us firmly in mid table in other divisions.

Tadley are 4th bottom and strugling and having won on their ground 2-1 we should win the points there.

Amesbury have nothing to play for as they lie mid table. However they struck 4 goalspast us in a 4-4 goal bonanza at our ground so we will be lucky to get a point over at theirs.

Cowes have been top already but currently lie 4th and like us are hoping for silverware. We edged past them 1-0 at our ground so anything we get at theirs will be a bonus.

Pewsbury are 5th from bottom however they beat us 1-2 at our place already so could be a bogey side for us.

Laverstock are 2nd bottom and should be easy meat as we beat them 4-2 on their ground already. This should be the easiest game out of the lot.

We have a top of the table clash with Andover who we beat 1-0 at our ground. So along with the Cowes game we simply cannot afford to lose.

Team Solent are a mid table side who pasted us 0-3 at their ground and will prove very tricky to get a point against them.

I predict a total of 8 points from our last 7 games which I do not think will be enough for the title but will get us a top four finish.

WE BEAT 8PTS AND GOT 14 BUT WAS IT ENOUGH?

Tadley are 4th bottom and strugling and having won on their ground 2-1 we should win the points there.

THIS GAME PROVED OUR DOWNFALL AS WE WERE HELD 1-1

Amesbury have nothing to play for as they lie mid table. However they struck 4 goalspast us in a 4-4 goal bonanza at our ground so we will be lucky to get a point over at theirs.

THOUGHT WE WOULD STRUGGLE HERE BUT GOT THROUGH 1-0 WE WERE IN 3RD

Cowes have been top already but currently lie 4th and like us are hoping for silverware. We edged past them 1-0 at our ground so anything we get at theirs will be a bonus.

DESPITE HAVING OUR CENTER BACK SENT OFF WE THRASH THEM 4-1

Pewsbury are 5th from bottom however they beat us 1-2 at our place already so could be a bogey side for us.

AT THIS POINT WE HAD TWO CENTER BACK LOANEES WHO HAVE DONE WELL BUT BOTH LOANS ENDED BEFORE THIS GAME. SO WITH A MAKESHIFT BACK FOUR WE LOSE 2-1 WITH PEWSBURY SCORING THE WINNER IN THE 91ST MIN. IF THEY DIDNT THEN WE WOULD OF BEEN CHAMPIONS ON GOAL DIFFERENCE.

Laverstock are 2nd bottom and should be easy meat as we beat them 4-2 on their ground already. This should be the easiest game out of the lot.

WE SURGE INTO 2ND SPOT WITH A CUNNINGTON BRACE IN A 5-1 WIN.THIS GUY HAS NOW SCORED 25 IN 29 GAMES

We have a top of the table clash with Andover who we beat 1-0 at our ground. So along with the Cowes game we simply cannot afford to lose.

AT THIS POINT ANDOVER WERE IN 6TH PLACE & CUNNINGTON WENT RED HOT WITH A HATTRICK IN A 7-3 THRASHING

Team Solent are a mid table side who pasted us 0-3 at their ground and will prove very tricky to get a point against them.

SOLENT WERE NO LONGER A MID TABLE SIDE HAVING BURNED UP THEIR LAST GAMES TO ZIP INTO 4TH PLACE. THEY HELD US 1-1 AND WERE INTO THE PLAYOFFS INSTEAD

------------------------------------------GAME CRASHED!!!!!---------------------------

I've gone on to various forums and found out that it is likely my new downloaded skin is the cause and not the database as I first thought. I've had to get rid of a few files on Steam and then get Steam to reinstall these files. So now the game is back to it's original skin and has been tested beyond the point of my last crash so I'm confident ingoing ahead this time. So here I go again starting as an Unemployed wannabee.
