Hi there,

I am trying to re-establish the FIFA Confed Cup in my game, and I am trying to use the Advanced Rules to set it up, but I am experiencing some issues.

I get the message that says:

“New stage 0 for FIFA Confederations Cup can't find enough teams to be created. 0 teams found, 8 needed”

Even though I have set the certain parameters in the team pool, from where the competition should pull teams from.

I have no real experience using advanced rules, so it is all a bit new to me, therefore, there is likely something that I am missing or doing completely wrong.

I will upload the file here - and hope that someone might be able to help me with it.

I know I am a bit outdated playing an old version of the game, but when I have tweaked so much in the editor, i feel I need to get the most out of it.

I have a graphics megapack, which includes competitions, person, nations, stadiums and stadiums insides etc.

However, there is only one config file which contains the whole lot.

First of all this file is quite slow, in scrolling etc, and also it is quite overwhelming as there is no real structure, everything is just dumped in there with no real order.

All credit to those who have created the file and who have made it possible to add more graphical realism to the, I am not complaining, please don't get me wrong.

I was just wondering, if there was a way to ‘sort’ all the data.

I usually open the txt edit file if and when I want to add/alter any of the pictures… I have also just opened the file in excel which enabled me with the use of ‘filter’ to only see the ‘stadium inside’ data for example… And I would love to be able to chuck all that on its own into another txt document with all the <record from=        " to=" etc.

But I have no idea how to… Is there an easy way this can be done?

I would really like to create a config file for each of the various folders, so that; Stadium Backgrounds has its own, insides its own, Person Backgrounds its own and so on. I feel that way, it would be easier to add and edit along the way, plus Im sure it will reduce the txt edit file size considerably thus making it slightly more responsive.

Hope you can help, or perhaps let me know of someone who could help with this.

Thanks

p.s. I have added two screenshots, of how it looks when I have a small window and if I enlarge the window, thats when it gets slightly more unbearable as there isn't really any line separation.
