They say Rimini will start over from Eccellenza league next season, we'll see.
Now I see all the players have been released on a free transfer in the game (I don't know if done by you or by S.I.), but just some staff is left to be released, as you see in my screenshot above.
Some of the players have already been signed by other teams, I hope those have been updated in your update.
Sure you have to stop Rimini from signing players and staff, and we have to impact their finances with huge debt of bankrupt. Some other modders have given -100 points of penalty to Rimini in the Serie C/B table. I don't know what S.I. will do in the official winter update about this.
Now I copy/paste from the internet about Serie C new rules in its three Groups:
In Serie C now the B group has 19 teams following Rimini's bankruptcy. So the direct relegations from the whole Serie C to the Serie D have been reduced from 9 (it was three for each Group) to 8 in total.
The teams ranked last in Groups “A” and “C” are relegated directly to the Serie D, to cover 2 relegations.
The remaining 6 relegations will be settled through the Play-Outs in the three groups, according to the following formula.
>>> PLAY-OUTS of Serie C groups A and C:
The Play-Outs for Groups “A” and “C” will be played between the teams ranked: second-to-last, third-to-last, fourth-to-last and fifth-to-last, according to the following formula:
a) The fifth-to-last plays a first leg and a second leg against the team placed second-to-last; the first leg is played on the pitch of the second-to-last.
b) The fourth-to-last plays a first leg and a second leg against the team placed third-to-last; the first leg is played on the pitch of the third-to-last.
c) At the end of those two matches, in the event of a tie in scores, the goal difference will be taken into account to determine the winning team; in the event of a further tie, the team with the best ranking at the end of the regular season will be considered the winner.
The teams that are losers will be relegated to the Serie D.
BUT: Cases of DIRECT RELEGATION Groups A and C without going through the play-outs:
a) If the second-to-last at the end of the regular season has a gap from the fifth-to-last that's greater than 8 points, it will be directly relegated to the Serie D.
b) If the third-to-last at the end of the the regular season has a gap from the fourth-to-last that's greater than 8 points, it will be directly relegated to the Serie D.
>>> PLAY-OUTS of Serie C group B, changing:
The Play-Outs for Group “B” without Rimini FC will be played between the teams ranked: LAST, second-to-last, third-to-last and fourth-to-last, according to the following formula:
a) The fourth-to-last plays a first leg and a second leg against the last-placed; the first leg is played on the pitch of the last-placed team.
b) The third-to-last plays a first leg and a second leg against the second-to-last; the first leg is played on the pitch of the second-to-last.
c) At the end of the two matches, in the event of a tie, the goal difference will be taken into account to determine the winning team. In the event of a further tie, the team with the best ranking at the end of the regular season will be considered the winner.
The teams that are losers will be relegated to the Serie D.
BUT: Cases of DIRECT RELEGATION group B without going through the play-outs, changing:
a) If the LAST at the end of the regular season has a gap from the fourth-to-last that's greater than 8 points, it will be directly relegated to the Serie D.
b) If the second-to-last at the end of the the regular season has a gap from the third-to-last that's greater than 8 points, it will be directly relegated to the Serie D.
= Summary, basically in the Group B all the criteria based on rankings are down-shifted of one position as compared to Groups A and C.
Changes in the promotion's PLAY-OFFs as well:
Anyway the total number of promotions from Serie C to Serie B is 4 and remains the same.
All the rights to get directly promoted (i.e. the regular season winners of each Group, total of 3) and the rights to get into the Play-offs based on rankings remain the same (from 2nd to the 10th of each Group + the winner of Coppa Italia of Serie C, etc. etc. so to get a total of 28 teams in the Play-offs).
And only the one winner of the whole Play-offs will get promoted (alongside the regular season winners of each Group), remains the same.
But taking into account the lower number of teams participating in the Serie C due to the Rimini FC bankrupt, in order to ensure homogeneity in the application of the criteria between the groups, as a compensation for the best ranked teams rules, there will be a coefficient applied for Group B.
Regularly into the Play-offs, the criteria for best ranked teams rules are these:
a) best ranking in their group;
b) if tie: highest number of points acquired in the ranking;
c) If still tie: greatest number of victories achieved;
d) If still tie: highest number of goals scored.
e) If still tie: draw between the teams.
BUT for the teams in Group B, as the bankrupted one is missing, they will apply a multiplier coefficient of 1.055555 to each of the criteria above, which is obtained from the number of regular season games in groups "A" and "C" (which is 38) divided by the number of regular season games in group "B" (which is 36), so it's 38/36 = 1.055555.

RIMINI Football Club (Italy) that has officially bankrupted, has been dissolved and removed from Italian Serie C/B on the last November 28th, it needs further releasing the remaining staff in the game: there is still all the staff of the U20 and U18, plus 2 scouts and 1 physio and doctors and all the board.
And the club has to be erased from the Serie C/B, from the whole game. The final court sentence has just arrived in the last few days. In real life the other clubs in the league will not play against them any more, plus their points from wins and draws against Rimini have been deducted. FM has to reflect reality.
And if this club is still in the game, they will buy players and staff, which is stupid and unrealistic.

TO BE EDITED: Player BANNED until February 28th 2026 because of football bets, as I've posted in the forum. His ban was sentenced like this, with reductions that SHOULD go like this at the moment:
Total ban was 20 months, BUT:
- 2 months reduction, converted into a fee
- 9 months reduction for attending therapy
= 9 months of ban remaining from June 2025 = Banned until February 28th 2026.
This is not noted on Transfermarkt. Sources are: the italian official federation sentence, italian news and italian Wikipedia (sorry no translations): https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pietro_Martino

Hey admins, I've downloaded the free basic Data Update for FM 26, but there is only two files named: CONTRACTS and JAPAN LEVEL 10.
Is it normal? Will I actually find the transfers etc. updated in the game?
