Bit ridiculous that the players name actually goes where sponsorships should be, surprised it can't be disabled for certain leagues when using the editor, but then I don't know how easy that is not knowing the actual process.

Mostly I've found playing quite deep and passing directly while focusing down the middle, essentially the game will be quite dull but you might steal a goal with a long ball and striker running through. 4-4-2 is irritating, Peterborough destroyed my top of the table Doncaster team 5-0 with it even though I'd beaten better teams 8-2 and 6-1, it's crazy.

Wow that's a fantastic idea, top work guys. Often bugged me about the transfers sometimes being a bit.. out there. Does this change transfers that usually happen? When managers get sacked it always seems to be the same managers being hired by the same clubs for instance.

It does sound very odd indeed.

Here's a funny comparison: My futsal/football team's lower league (very low, that is) games and practice sessions have been now cancelled for the unforseeable future, and we're on fully amateur level and our matches gather maybe a crowd of 15-20 people at most. Not very many people to infect or be infected by others to be honest.

We've been criticising the decision to close the big indoors sports hall that we've bought our training hours from. Officially sports & entertainment events with a crowd/mass of people larger than 500 are to be cancelled. Now, we practice futsal 5 on 5 (including the keepers) with a total number of 10-16 participants per training session and that is apparently deemed a dangerously large mass of people to be in the same space (big sports hall). The number of people and their spacing equals or is exceeded by that of consumers in any grocery store around here.

No one's telling folks not to go into the local stores, but apparently us training is too big of a risk. And , of course us adults cannot be trusted to be responsible towards our own teammates and stay out of sports practice if we feel ill.

It's ridiculous. York have called off their game against Alty which is a good move given there would've likely been about 2,500 people there. Yeah went to a shopping centre last night after work and there was absolutely more than 500 people there, some with coughs and whatnot, so surely that should be closed down? It's all a bit silly this.

With the new Winter transfer update out, I've never been sure how it works, I use a few editor files, some adding new leagues, some making my own tweaks to players/teams, but will the new update apply alongside those to players that haven't been edited? So for instance in my database I've not transfered Haland to Dortmund, or altered him at all, with the winter update would that transfer and any attribute changes apply to him?

Yes, it's impossible to make it work that way, only SI can. I did increase the in-match probability of injuries versus training, to try and reduce the fact that most injuries are in-training.

But just a note on what you said - I agree, there should be a "hierarchy" of matches/training having more or less risk for injury, but you can see here that players often do get injured in pre-season. They are out of shape/on poor US pitches/on a new team and unused to their training, etc. So pre-season injuries are very real and probable.

The break your foot 1 out of 10 times practicing free kicks thing...is yea..not right.

To be fair, nearly snapped the ligaments in my ankle by stepping on a curb yesterday. Bet you could do a bit more damage in a training session!
