We've sold Capoue to Watford. Don't know the fee but its a record deal for Watford. Hopefully Adebayor, Chiriches and Kaboul are next to leave.

Newcastle are run in the same way as Spurs yee kna. Same way as Southampton and Swansea too. Fun fact Spurs have actually spent more than Newcastle once in the past five years too.

But at least at Spurs you have the lovely knowledge of giving your money to a tax exile, who made his money out of selling out the British Public.

Don't worry not long until we're all calling Wenger a senile fool, who has to go. And only 9 months until we're discussing how 'if only the season started a bit later Arsenal would be Champions' and the classic banter of the Gunnersaurus.

Why are you turning this on Spurs and Arsenal, I thought we were talking about Newcastle?

Couldn't help noticing this when they confirmed you as manager
"Bayer 04 Leverkusen have today unveiled Dan as the person to replace Dan Wilcox at BayArena" So you are replacing yourself as manager?

Not even that, I just don't know if I want to prioritise spending money on something when they're actively trying to not entertain - which is my primary motivation for going.

I'll still watch it in the pub or something.

I don't blame you. Probably difficult to hand over cash to a club that makes no effort to repay its supporters.

Being more interested in a club when they're doing well is Gloryseeking. No where to be seen when the club is doing badly. Then they're out of the woodwork, die hard fans who'd never miss a game.

I know you lot are desperate for some kind of success, but "doing well" doesn't count as glory. Glory seeking is following a team because they are winning trophies. Not turning up to a game because you think it will be shit is just fairweather supporting.

You're only allowed to use a maximum of two stadiums from the same city, joint bids aren't permitted and I doubt an English bid would be allowed to use Welsh and Scottish stadiums.

We could use Old Trafford, The Etihad, Wembley, Olympic Stadium, St James Park, Villa Park, Anfield, Goodison Park and possibly others like Elland Road, Portman Road, Stadium of Light and St Mary's Stadium. As Poe said, we have the infrastructure to cope with it as well.

For some reason I like the Rugby commentary more than the games. This being a good example.

Seen some rumours that we're going for Alderweireld. I really do hope that happens, because with Wimmer also coming in, that should mean the end for Kaboul and Chiriches.

Twitter seems to think Bournemouth have agreed an £8.5million deal for Tyrone Mings, who Ipswich signed for ten grand. Mad.

Being reported on the BBC Sport site as well. I know loads of Ipswich supporters and they rate him very highly. Apparently he was once released by Southampton for being "too small", but now stands at about 6'5, he's pretty quick as well for someone of his size.

All of those u21 players have Premier League experience, too.

Apart from Gibson, Hughes, Forster-Caskey, Afobe, Bond & Bettinelli. Also Pritchard has only played 7 minutes in a meaningless game in the Premier League so its not like he has any real experience either.

Top Gear won't last after the next series imo.

They'll probably lose quite a lot of viewers, mainly ones who only watch it for the comedy that Top Gear brought under Richard, James and Jeremy, and i believe that to be quite a significant audience. I reckon they'll lose more than half of their worldwide audience overall, although they may pull a few million viewers that are "curious" about what format the show will be.

Then Richard, James and Jeremy will announce a new car show to wipe the floor with and then Top Gear will end shortly after.

Apparently ITV are the favourites to sign Jeremy, James and Richard although Netflix and Amazon are also interested. Thankfully Sky have already said they're not going to try and sign them up. If they do go to ITV, I agree with you, they will get all the viewers and Top Gear will suffer. Those three made it what it is, so its going to be weird seeing them kill the show that they made so popular.

Looks like Parma are going to be an amateur club in the fourth division next season. What a fall they're having, wasn't long ago that they had players like Buffon, Cannavaro, Thuram and Crespo in the same team.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas is the laziest footballer i've ever seen play in real life. Literally didn't break into a single sprint in a whole 90 minutes.

1. Arsenal
2. Chelsea
3. United
4. City
5. Spurs
6. Liverpool

Could happen if you get Cech, a good center back and a top striker. On that note, is Coquelin going to be a starter or are you actually going to get that holding midfielder that you've needed for years?

I can see us finishing about 8th if Lloris leaves. Such an average squad we've got apart from a couple of players.

I usually have a couple of normal careers on the go, but I always have one where I give a shit team loads of money and good players just to mess about when i'm bored of the others. In this case it is Queen's Park in Scotland and I just had this goal go in against Arsenal in the Europa League. Probably the best overhead kick i've ever had on FM

Leicester have sacked the three players who were filmed in the racist orgy.

Surprised its taken them this long to reach such a conclusion.

How awkward must that be though, one of them was Pearson's son. Basically sacked by your own dad for being in a racist orgy.

You should sign the best players possible for the best possible price. That's rarely an English player.

State the obvious why don't you. I'm pretty sure every team on the planet will be trying to do that. We should still be signing young players as well though. Anyway we have been signing players who, at the time of signing, looked to be the best possible players, but they are all turning out to be crap. Soldado, Lamela, Fazio and Paulinho being examples of that.

Because he's young and English? Wasting money on every half-decent young English player has been Spurs MO for years.

Damn it, why are we signing English players and trying to help them progress their careers? We should just go down the route of some of the bigger clubs and fill our team with foreigners and forget about the English players instead...
