How many times did you need to flick between FM and the internet to post Brommapojkarna correctly?

Love a bit of MLS, there's never been enough MLS career threads about.

I'd be tempted to cash in on Serna if those bids start getting towards 7m, imagine how much that could be reinvested in MLS terms?

I'd be interesting to see whether the first tactic will work, historically in FM teams at the very bottom struggle with tactics that require high work rate and fitness and that have a lot of specialised roles. If you get the right players for it though it could work, and that's part of the fun, doing things a little different tactically.

Parma are great in FM, riddled with so many loaned out players and co-own deals. You can make a bomb on deadweight and also see some decent hot prospects return to the club.

The hottest of all being Alberto Cerri, starts in the youth team, he's a 6'4 beast.

I already added Ricardo Quaresma to the FIFA World Cup 2014 game, Totti and Cassano are next. And Diego if he isn't in the Brazilian pool.

Martin Palermo is still the King of misperformance.

Although he half made up for it by becoming Boca's top scorer of all time.

League Cup in the bag, 1-0 win over Sporting in the final.

Been looking over the squad and thinking about possible ways to reshape and rebuild. I think I might let go of some experienced pros as well as some of the younger players, just for a total refresh. Players like Alvarado and Pedro Miguel have been here for well over a decade, but it could be time to move them on.

Played a rotated squad and they got the job done, another CL game where the opposition cause us next to no problems.

We play Man Utd in the Semis and Porto will play Chelski. Would love an all Portuguese final, if we got Porto and I dicked them, I'd probably move straight into an FM14 career.

A shifting of Iberian power.

Two huge results, for us Mogi tore it up. Normally I'd play him from AML but I fancied him at AMR for this game due to Pedro Miguel being iffy lately and my distaste for Chokito. What a game he had, a goal in the the first minute and he won our penalty.

Semi-interesting side note; both of Chelsea's goal scorers are products of the Mirandela academy and Man Utd's scorer played for us for a good few seasons.

Porto away in the league next, if we we win, we win the title.

Something like 4.8, they also had a midfielder with a rating of 5, so who knows what he was doing to be considered only slightly better than giving away a penalty and scoring two own goals.

6-0 League Cup semi final win against Guimaraes sets up a final with Sporting.

CL draw has also come through, we have Barcelona, Porto have got Madrid. Far from ideal. Barca have three of four of my ex players as well, five quid on Mark Urban scoring a free kick against me.

Poor Eusebio Fernandes, comes on as a sub early in the first half after an injury to another player, within ten minutes he gives away the penalty. First own goal he gets isn't really his fault, a deflected shot. The second OG is tremendous though, keeper blocks a shot, falls to Fernandes' feet, tries to clear it, goes straight into the top corner. Emphatic.

Standard game, no worries, no hiccups. Surprised how well we managed to coast through the City games, lets hope for a nice QF draw.

Porto have a 3-1 agg lead over Juventus, hopefully they see that through, its all good for the Portuguese coefficient. We're currently third in the rankings but Germany are due to overtake us next year, so we need some good European runs from the domestic clubs.

Porto are determined to make a title race out of things, 12 wins in 14 games, dropped points to us and Sporting.

Its because I haven't loaded the EPL, always annoys me that in FM. If you don't load a league it goes nigh on untouched, nothing changes. Would be nice if rep changes took place and new stadiums could be built in non-loaded leagues. Or at the very least in the major leagues in each continent.

3-1 league defeat to 4th placed Belenenses, first defeat in 36 league games, only two games off Porto's record.

Obviously an absolutely huge result, the ball is most definitely in our court for the return.

Heading into my game I lost my usual starting RB, Kristo, to a four week injury, so Ladic had to come in and he played a great game.

The game before the return is a home game against Arouca who are bottom of the table, so it means I can rest my players and everyone should be fully fit to play, and see off City.

I forgot about Boavista, they truly are a fallen domestic giant. They've had some legends of them game play for them.

To me Bari will forever be the club that gave us Antonio Cassano, and for that reason they will always be World Class.

There was, is and forever shall be, only one BIGUN. But we do have three players close to my heart;

1. Carlos Santos, played 550 games for me and played until he was about 41. His whole career was spent in the third division with me.
2. Pedro Miguel, first real talent our academy brought through. Has a contract for life.
3. Armindo Borges, the best player talent wise to ever play for the club, has scored some important goals. Will make a pretty buck once I cash in.

Italy and Spain are riddled with clubs who had decent spells in the top flight and now find themselves in the third tier, some of the better examples;

Perugia -> Had a solid enough five or six year Serie A stint at the turn of the century, probably most famous for going a full season unbeaten in the last 70s and still managing to not win the Serie A title
Lecce -> Were a Serie A team two year back but got relegated and then demoted to the third tier, think it was for financial irregularity. The legend that is Fabrizio Miccoli plays there and the hallowed Zdenek Zeman has worked his magic with the club in the past
Racing Santander - Were always a solid little La Liga team, they are now in the Spanish third division

And if none of them tickle your fancy hit up Santa Cruz in the Brazilian third division, their attendances hit 40k, 50k, sometimes even 60k in real life.

he was a great AMC but I think he went shit after real life caught him.
if I remember correctly, I played a game in 2004 and singed luca toni & sol cambell. I especially remember that you were a bit of a controversial moderator that made me laugh. what you up to now?

I languish in mediocrity for the most part, thinking back to my glory days and valuing myself far more than my actual worth.

I am Leeds United.

Into early February now, just offered a few first teamers out without transfer listing them, trying to see what kind of bids I can attract. Pretty committed to a squad rehaul this summer, may even move towards Nationalistic Management just to add a little more to the fun.

Lots and lots of pace, that's what we like to see.

Solly is having a woeful time of it at RB mind, by far your weakest starting player on form. Bring back Matt Holland and retrain him to play RB, this is the most suitable course of action I feel.

I've seen something far more derogatory, when they first brought in the 'Dubbed the next....' feature I once saw someone 'Dubbed the next Michael Chopra'.
