Is there any reason the FA didn't have the Club seats on the seats behind the camera rather than directly opposite, always looks terrible having the middle of the stadium half empty for much of the game

People have taken the piss out of Liverpool for the last few years, can hardly blame some fans for turning the tables

Even if that additional £50k is a standard wage it's still £70k less than Vidic's pay packet.

Again, its just a theory. But it makes sense to get rid of someone like Vidic, free up a fair amount of money to offer Rooney a new contract and then have plenty of room to bargain with in the summer when you have to strengthen

If you're trying to say that we didn't offer Vidic a new deal because we wanted to spend the money on Rooney, then I think thats bollocks. Other than that you'll have to elaborate.

Im saying it could be the reason for his move which is abit out of the blue.

We'll likely lose around £300,000 in the summer when/if Vidic, Rio and Evra all go.

Was talk that Vidic leaving was to facilitate Rooney's new contract so might not be as much freed up as first thought

The fact Flanagan fell over afterwards has absolutely no bearing on the decision.

If a player makes a tackle and just touches the ball but subsequently brings their opponent down when they are still through on goal would that still not be a foul?

He won the ball cleanly first. No justification for it.

Did bring down Flanagan on the follow through when he would have had a open shot on target, not saying it was a clear cut one but can see why he gave it if the ref saw the keepers touch.

Can see why its given though, even with the keepers touch on the ball he Flanagan was still going past with the ball in front of him.

Even so that makes the decisions even i suppose
