I've applied the workaround to both 2600 and 2620 files but Parthenope seems to persist - I am using an existing save. Any ideas?

Edit:

The workaround works fine - make sure that #"CLUB (specifically the ‘’) is properly typed in; easiest way to make sure is to simply copy it from the notepad directly. In my case the keyboard settings messed up the ‘’ symbols.
