As an addition, I have been furiously making the Maltese Amateur League kits and when mons puts out his Maltese Leagues file, they will contain the Premier, League One and a large majority of the Maltese Amateur League teams 3D kits too.

That's where my partner and I have a difference of opinion. None of my balls in the pack have such a configuration. I don't run the Malta leagues so I can't say if it's an issue. If so, let us know and we'll discuss it. In the meantime, I'll include a modified MOV ball and you can back up the original and try the alternative.

The ball looks fine and as you say, it is so minute, you see the swirly designs on the ball and that’s about it. It’s only in the changing room shot, that you see it in better definition.

The Malta ball in the pack is not absolutely correct but it's often difficult to find a decent graphic to work from when making minor league balls. The one in the pack is a decent representation of the current ball. I will have a look and see if I can tweak it. In most cases, if you can notice the writing in play then you need to have exceptional vision. I run FM on a 4K monitor and most small detail is not noticable or detracts from the match experience. Remember, it's not possible to replicate absolutely the detail/geometry of 3D match balls. However with the lack of absolute graphics quality in FM and the distance the balls are viewed from, I reckon they look pretty good.

This is the one I made but I didn’t reverse the logo on one of the halves. Not sure if that makes a difference ....

Many thanks for that reply. I did on a previous message posted up an attempt I had made myself. Didn’t really understand the reverse view though. Where logos, writing appears backwards (as seen on some of your balls).

Just a very small note, the Malta ball is not quite right. The one you guys kindly created has writing on it that is specific only to La Liga. I believe the Malta used one is this ....

If you could make the small amendment it would be gratefully appreciated. I did give it a go myself but my version isn't as good as yours.

I was involved in the modifying of the match audio commentary/improved crowd sounds pack and I'm using it in FM21. However, you need to extract the data/simatch/events folder before overwriting with the FM20 "match_events" and "match_sounds" config files, or the game will crash if you attempt to overwrite the originally issued simatch files. If enough people are interested to have an audio commentary I could upload a mod.pack.

I for one would love that. It greatly improved things for me during 3D viewing last time around.

As thought, Pieta Hotspurs FC from the Maltese First Division have altered their away kit for the 2020-21 season. Please swap out the old one in the pack, for this one. No need to alter the config file but you will need to re-cache the skin as usual if you are already playing a Malta save.

I actually had a play around and came up with this for the Malta ball ha ha!

Some of the writing on the ball ties it to Spain and La Liga and so I took that off my made ball.
