Sounds strange. Can you post a screenshot from the direction, you placed the file in, and a screenshot from the dropdown menu in FM19?
Have you updated FM19 to the latest version from steam?

The FM19 Editor is a free tool you can use, but no you don't need it to use my update. Have you extracted the file and placed the file in this direction: Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2019\editor data

Yes the file has been unzipped and is in the location as a FMF file

Sorry for being stupid, but do you need to purchase the FM19 editor (3.99) for this to work? - i have followed the steps and the file is not visible on the drop menu when i start a new career
