Burnely have never been a major club.Only been English champions twice and FA cup winners once all well before I was born.In this save I will be trying to turn burnley into a force in Europe aswell as England.
I have only loaded England up from league 2 upwards but I will be playing with a big database so updates wont be anywhere near as frequent as my last saves.
I will be starting with only sunday league experience so ill need to develop myself as much as the squad/club if I am to get as far as I want to.
As I said ill be starting at the bottom in terms of manager progress.Ill be trying to obtain them licences as soon as possible.
Media prediction isn't a shock really.No chance of staying up as far as they are concerned but im hoping to shut them up and to be honest should I get relegated I wont mind too much in all honesty.This is going to be a marathon not a sprint.
Bit of history for you.We have won a few things but nothing of note for a few decades.
The facilities aren't great though the training facilities are good.I do tend to focus a lot on youth so I will be asking for all things youth o be upgraded asap.
Now for the squad
Not all that bad to be honest.Tom heaton will obviously be number 1 but gilks isn't all that bad.He did great for blackpool a few years back.
Got a lot of cover for defenders.Only trippier of real quality in my opinion though.I think I will need to improve on what I have here though if I am to survive this season and certainly to move onto the next level.I can see only trippier and mee still being here in next few years.
Well according to them reports the midfield is my strongest area.I can sort of agree but again this will need to be strengthened.I am a big fan of Michael kightly and look forward to see him and trippier contributing a lot.
Already offered Ings a new contract.Ill be needing him for sure.Vokes out till new year so ill have to cope with the others.Ill be moving them both on asap as I don't rate either of them.Again ill need to strengthen here too.And fast too.
On top of all this I will be doing a complete revamp of my backroom staff.To improve my scouting knowledge I will be trying to bring in a few from overseas.
Hope you all enjoy this story.I will be hoping to make this my only one for a few months.My spartak one progressed a lot quicker than I expected and the trophy chase one wasn't enjoyable for me.

Think I will be taking them up but always thought I would dan.Just want top spot not 2nd.
Nice one johno.Was disappointing against TB but the other results were good.
Another solid month in the faroe islands.The goals were conceding are still a worry but we are still picking up points regularly.Hogni hojgaard my just turned 17 year old forward had a quality month with 11 goals in 5 games.A draw to FC suouroy the only downpoint but considering they are/were in 3rd it isn't too bad.They did have a very bad month though.
As I said FC suouroy did have a bad month which meant vestur and my boys pulled away from them.Unfortunately TB had an amazing month and only trail us by 3 points.Vestur had another strong month and are 3 points ahead.I do play them twice (including on the final day and I could really do with winning them.

Our first defeat of the league campaign didn't spoil the mood.Another 3 wins in the other games of the month kept our decent season going.
Only 1 point off top but it seems be a 3 horse race.Of course our loss came against TB and they could still yet catch the top 3.Obviously only top spot gets me that tick off the trophies in faroe islands so 2nd is no good.Just hoping I do get top spot.

Nice one dan.Im happy enough with it.Just hoping I can continue it.I knew the media prediction was a bad one.
Another good month.Lost in the cup but I wasn't too bothered about it.The manner of the defeat was bad but it wasn't important.In terms of the league we had both the 2 teams above us at the start of the month and funnily enough we won them both and the only clean sheets this season has come against them though vestur were down to 10 men on 8 minutes.
The results have gone for us this month.The only undefeated team so far.Hoping itll keep going as we haven't lost against any of the other top 4.

Onlt the 3 fixtures so far to tell you all about.Started off with the trip to our fellow relegated club TB and we should of won but for an 87th mninute equaliser.Then B68s 2nd team came to visit and we beat them with ease.NSI 2 were the next opponents and another good win.Our stikers partnership of hogni hojgaard and finn erik thomsen is looking good.
So the league table is looking fair good.Granted we have only played 1 decent team but we have looked good enough to win them all so far.Its a long season but im looking forward to this challenge.
