We need people to be adding the “Date Contract Signed” field when making a transfer otherwise this won't work.

 

If it's not there it will have to default to the date of the submission which may not be accurate.

 

Tagging some people who have been making transfers but leaving "date contract signed" blank.

To be clear to those tagged, this discussion is about creating an alternative data update where all the players have a future transfer set and don't move until that date rather than being moved instantly. In order for it to work, the date of the transfer needs to be included in the submission. It's currently labelled as “Date Contract Signed” which doubles as “Date Joined” when also changing the club.

But when I searched for Conte in the database, it doesn’t say he’s Tottenham?

Im really confused - tried to transfer Conte to Tottenham, but it just says “now has a role of first team manger”, and no mention of Tottenham.

I then went to the Tottenham page and Conte wasn’t on it.

I also tried to get rid of Espirito Santo and his staff, but that has been labelled as “spam”?

What is going on?

There were 31 staff changes in the 22.1.1 update 

 

We can’t add directors of football or directors, etc, if they’re not already in the database, can we?

Staff for Crewe that needs to be changed or added

Will Ryder is now at Port Vale as Head of academy

Ryan Dicker is now U18s Assistant manager at Crewe

Mike Jackson is now Technical director at Crewe

Alex Neil is Advisor at Crewe for a couple weeks

Yes of course it does because our most recent data update is for FM21 and was released on November 1st and the game was released yesterday on November 9th…

 

To be clear there's a difference between a “data update” and a “database"

 

The Database is a way to view the entire FMDB online. It's is available for FM22 and FM21 

 

What this topic is discussing is the browseable FM22 Database and has absolutely nothing to do with the data update.

 

The Data Update is for FM21 and we stopped updating it at the end of October when the FM22 BETA was released.

 

We will release an FM22 update as well as further FM21 updates in the next couple of weeks when we're sure it's stable and SI aren't going to release any hot fixes.

Usually SI release another update in a couple of weeks so it's not really worth starting before then only to reset again.

The database has now been updated with the full release data.

I don't think it's valid for someone's contract. I think it's only valid for histories.

Sporting Director is the same as Director of Football 🙂

I've added an option to filter by game. It's not particularly pretty but it works 🙂
