THE GALABANKIES

Annan Athletic currently ply their trade in the 4th tier of Scottish Football, League 2. Originating from the small town of Annan in Dumfries, they're a fairly new team compared to most other Scottish teams, having being founded just 73 years ago, in 1942. Known for their Black and Gold kits, the team play at Galabank Stadium, which holds 2,514 people, with 500 seats being in place to accommodate the fans.

The teams highest ever finish was in fact last season, where they finished 2nd place in League Two, but missed out in the playoffs, although I hope to take them one further this time and hopefully lead them to promotion.

The Squad.

Our squad looks decent to start off with, but I will certainly need to do a lot of strengthening if I'm to challenge for the title next season, my next update will be at the end of pre-season were I will hopefully have a few new signings in and a few decent results in our pre-season friendlies.
